I have stories in my head. Stories about nature, monsters, dragons, spaceships... I have lousy poetry that needs to be told, ideas that want to be illustrated and impossible cities to be built. So I draw them. One day at the time. Please tell me you have this urge to create too and we'll make something beautiful. Or terrifying.

The Iron Bolt is out ! - +HELP DREAMFLIGHT
I'm proud to present you the second tome of "The Children of Lost Thing Found" Series: "The Iron Bolt". Written by (c) Matthew RR Morrese - Canticles Production LLC - www.canticlesproductions.com Cover and interior illustrations by (c) Astanael - www.deviantart.com/astanael You can found it right here : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0F9YG9VTC?ref_=dbs_m_mng_rwt_calw_thcv_1&storeType=ebooks In "The Iron Bolt", our trio of heroes - Artie, Olesea, and Priya - take their second adventure to retrieve a virtue their present world has lost. This time, they're sent to Switzerland, but before it was Switzerland! They meet the great figures of William and Walter Tell, and learn how to stand up for the little guy through faith of the heart. Whilst most Children's Books fall into tropes of fantasy - all well and good, of course - or tailor specifically to one culture (to balance what authors/publishing companies perceive as an imbalanced shelf), the series The Children of Lost Things Found focuses on telling a story and imparting a virtue. Each story and every lesson have contemporary significance using history, a call to action, and cultural respect. Each book of the series follows a group of children seeking to return traits - such as goodness, honesty, truth, etcetera - to a world, our world, that seems to have lost them. The children are sent backward and forward in time to events and peoples who personify these traits. The Children of Lost Things Found gives readers of all backgrounds insight into other cultures, traditions, religions, and histories they might not ordinarily have an opportunity to understand. In the end, we want everyone to learn that talking to, and working with, the person across from you is always better than looking down at, or relying on, a screen. Of course, The first tome The Last Urumi, is still available: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F8RF5YPZ?binding=hardcover&ref=dbs_dp_rwt_sb_pc_thcv *** IMPORTANT MESSAGE *** If you like the serie, and want to see more, please considere helping Dreamflight! Last week, they learned someone bought the building that their Nonprofit is residing in, and is kicking them out August 1st :( So they're having to try to raise $50,000 in one month to move an entire Gymnastics facility, Dance studio, and Actor's stage, or they lose everything. https://www.gofundme.com/f/saving-dreamflight I don't want to succum either to anger or despair, yet I'm quite devastated by this cruel news. It's so random and needlessy petty. Please at least share the word, for I think giving children access to art, sport, theatre or any cultural activity should not be a crime nor a "munchable". *** THANK YOU FOR READING *** /* Watercolor Pencil on sketchbook - Porte-mine et crayons aquarelle sur carnet */ Joie ! Noel !

PC broke
Can't use my gear for a while. It freezes the moment I try to do anything meaningful.
So... there's drawing ongoing, but no update for a while. I'll make up and post like crazy once I've solved this issue or bought my new rig.
Meanwhile...
[rant incoming, feel free to ignore]
Anyone knows about this nouveau graphic driver error ?
kernel: nouveau 0000:02:00.0: Xorg[1635]: nv50cal_space: -16
I'm on Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon, with twin GeForce GTX 970 with SLI on an Asus z87pro and I'm stuck between the nouveau driver that freezes randomly with this error above or the pita-to-config nvidia driver that can't do properly base mosaic of my three displays on a single Xscreen or even update the xconf file.
I guess that's the deal going free from Redmond and using old stuff. I mean... Yiynova connected on custom DVI coupled with usb2? SLI? Linux's a harsh teacher, and I can't find the answer to this one.
Any insight appreciated.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and sorry for ranting like that.

Children of Lost Thing Found - Chp.8 sneak peak
Whilst most Children’s Books fall into tropes of fantasy – all well and good, of course – or tailor specifically to one culture (to balance what authors/publishing companies perceive as an imbalanced shelf), the series The Children of Lost Things Found focuses on telling a story and imparting a virtue. Each story and every lesson have contemporary significance using history, a call to action, and cultural respect. Each book of the series follows a group of children seeking to return traits – such as goodness, honesty, truth, etcetera – to a world, our world, that seems to have lost them. In "The Last Urumi", our trio of heroes - Artie, Olesea, and Priya - live through the catastrophic event of a "screen-out" all across the globe; then, they are sent back in time and to India by a mysterious god-like figure of myth and legend, to retrieve a virtue their present world has lost. https://www.amazon.com/Last-Urumi-Children-Things-Found/dp/B0DNZN6JCW?crid=2N19ZVHXY6LQP&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.-LyIMz1lpz6vpfNXHtc-3g.zeKOi9_ZED1Jcu3qP-T_Mx9yQB0N0mdzo4Sz2DQpj_0 Written by (c) Matthew RR Morrese - Canticles Production LLC - www.canticlesproductions.com Cover and interior illustrations by (c) Astanael - www.deviantart.com/astanael

The Veil
Concealed, afraids, we walk the new times, wearing masks There's eyes everywhere, protruding from nowhere Show them faces that aren't ours, hide in plain sight! The veil holds, we're still alone. Hidden from ourselves. Happy New Year, I guess?

Magic wand
I'll hold my promise to you, my love. I won't seek vengeance, but justice! Your soul may be gone, but your strength still linger in me. I'm no swordsman like you, I'm a sorceress. And with your help, I think I found my magic wand.
