Hello! I made the Master of Eraqus and Xehanort design, and I'd like to post on twitter too, on which I'll still definitely credit you. I think I remember seeing a screenshot showing that Xehanort's patterned coat trim is made from snakeskin, or at least it has a snakeskin like texture. I may be remembering this wrong though, plus I doubt it's easy to get one's hand on the stuff, unless if you go for fake snake leather.

I you look HD screenshots, you can see that the snake-like texture is only for Xehanort's boots. The texture of the coat is more like cotton or linen twill (you can see better on Eraqus' coat but it's the same for Xehanort)

OMG I love this design <3 she looks so badass !

My design for Eraqus and Xehanort’s master for A Will Passed On! SUPER happy with how she turned out. Unfortunately the webcomic will be in black and white (and way less detailed), so I wanted to show her full colors before hand

Notes:

I don’t have a name for her lmao, i didn’t realize until just now because she’s always referred to as The Master it’s Xine now :)

In the Xehanort reports, the Master is referred to as a he, but whatever we need more KH girls

Because Eraqus is confirmed a blueblood, I’m implying she is Eraqus’s mother

I’m also implying Eraqus later inherits the Armor of the Master from her

I did change a few details of the armor though to help differentiate her from him when the armor is activated

the pattern on her back is the same pattern on the roof of the main tower in Scala Ad Caelum

I recently found your storage book tutorial but I can't read it is there an English version? or could you DM me the instructions in English? I'm just curious if you can but if you can't that's okay too. I found your page on deviantart so I followed it to your tumblr and I must say I love your cosplay. Thanks in advance I hope you have an amazing day/evening.

I planned to make an English translation but I ran out of time.

Here is a little translation

Step 1: you'll need a storage book, 2mm thick craft foam, gesso, white glue, wood glue and acrylic paint.

Step 2: sand the storage book's cover and applys gesso. Mesure the book and draw the design on the foam.

Step 3: cut every details and glue those in the book at the right place. When it's dry, cover it with wood glue to make it smooth. Wait for it to dry. Now, patience time ! Paint every details with acrylic paint.

Your book is finished now. If you want, you can add a fake bottom and some pages to make it more realistic on photos :-)

Found your blog while looking for references for my Gula costume, love your cosplays!!! Especially the keyboards, you must have a lot of patience to make all of that details!

Oh, thank you ! It took me almost two years to finish it but it was worth it. I'll rework the keyblade though because I lacked experience back then and I should be able to make a better one now :-D
