I’m currently on a mid-session break (I have this week and next week off of uni). I think I’ll take this week to rest and do some Self Care™ (i.e. fixing my sleep schedule), and then next week I’ll ease back into studying and revising for my upcoming quizzes.

hello from my study break!

i'm actually taking physical notes for ones, and although it's much slower than im used to (i use joplin to take notes on my laptop most times), i feel like i'm retaining more information/processing it a bit better. whether this benefit outweighs the fact that my hand keeps hurting and cramping up* is debatable, so i might stick with my laptop for everyday study and physical note-taking for quiz revision.

*for additional context, i have fibromyalgia

i got 16 out of 20 on my quiz! i probably couldve studied more but my pain was pretty distracting tonight.

i currently am doing some university level computer science subjects in order to qualify for my dream bachelor degree (information studies with a major in records and archive management)

learning python at university

self-taught in HTML, C++, Java, and JavaScript

interests:

reading, mostly comics and fiction at the moment, but i like lots of genres

crochet - i have a chronic illness that makes it hard to crochet for very long but i really enjoy making small projects!!

what to expect:

i have 2 cats! a calico and a grey tuxedo, and they are so silly

my favourite tea is chamomile with honey

as mentioned above, i have a chronic illness which makes it hard to do basically everything. if you have any tips for studying/staying on top of uni while being chronically ill or mentally ill hmu lol

i looooove listening to music! 100 gecs, ashnikko, chrissy chlapecka, scene queen, salems corydalis, twinkle park, the cure, and bts are some of my favourites

i also love podcasts!!!!! welcome to night vale, very really good, respect the dead, and some more news are all ones i listen to regularly
