I'm feeling a bit weird, like nothing around me is real; and I feel like this is a good time to talk about my dysphoria because why not

It doesn't affect me most of the time. Don't get me wrong, it feels bad whenever I see my reflection or when my dad purposefully misgenders me (cuz he's a whore but that's not the focus of this post); but it usually doesn't pain me much.

The moments when I genuinely can't stand it are the ones when I'm already destabilized. It's like a backpack that magically becomes twice as heavy the second I get tired. And that's what it felt like earlier (i.e when I started writing). Just another weight forcing me to look at the mirror and see how wrong my body is. It's weird to even write this, I usually don't feel this bad.

Sometimes I genuinely hope I'm in a dream or something; maybe then I'd wake up in the body I truly belong to
