Perfectly preserved 1884 mansion in Chicago, IL. 4bds, 9ba, 7,523sqft, $7.9m.

It's always so amazing to see such a perfectly preserved home. Look at this statue.

Can you imagine the horror if some fool buys it, guts it, and makes it white, gray and modern? Look at that fireplace.

Look at the wall in the dining room- it's a water feature.

Immediately outside of the kitchen there's a smaller, everyday dining room.

The kitchen is mostly stainless steel b/c it's a professional chef's kitchen, but it works.

The gracefully curving stairs.

Beautiful tile work and look at the inlay in the floor. Gorgeous details.

Elegant sitting room up here.

There's a lovely bedroom on this floor.

But, this home has many levels.

Glorious primary bedroom has a terrace that wraps around the building.

And, check out the updated marble ensuite.

Also up here is an amazing rooftop conservatory surrounded by a terrace.

Well, it's only been a few days since i stumbled across this tumblr account but god, it’s already become one of my absolute favourites. Like no kidding, i literally find myself waiting for her posts now. It's kinda silly but every time i open tumblr, i just hope she’s posted something new. 😭

So the blog belongs to this girl and idk her personally not even her real name and we’ve never DMed or anything and while i would love to talk to her honestly, i am just scared like what if i come off as weird , what if she blocks me on the spot 😭 , ik i can be a bit awkward and intense sometimes and i really don’t want to ruin anything so for now i am just gonna admire her lil kayoot 🎀 blog from afar quietly liking and smiling at everything she posts.

Whenever she reblogs or writes something no matter what it is i just really like it. Her taste chef’s kiss. I recently saw her intro post in this friends making community and it just made me like her even more. Her name’s Lou (well not her real name but that’s what she goes by) and she’s 15.

Okay now listen... her favorite movies and series INSANE like Nightcrawler We Own the Night Avatar 1 and 2, Twilight Saga (OMFG I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH 😭), Saturday Night Fever, House MD and more i probably havent seen but still , her taste is so good 😭

And the music don’t even get me started. Lana Del Rey, Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths?? Like OMGGG 😭😭 i am a die hard fan of all three too and i swear, if we ever talked about music i would go feral and the fact that she loves old songs from the 60s and 70s that’s so rare and honestly so impressive , she just has this timeless soul vibe uk , hehe and alsooo, she’s obsessed with Jake Gyllenhaal and OMG SAME 😭😭 (I ain’t gay tho 😭) but like… the man can act and when i saw she reblogged the Prisoners, I literally gasped. One of my all time favorite movies so underrated and so intense , I love that she liked it too.

Another thing i noticed is how she’s anti Nazi and all for justice like yesss lil okay so f*** Hitler say it louder y’all 😤😭 (okay sorry if i said too much lmao but like facts are facts).

Oh and she speaks Dutch too idk if she’s actually Dutch or just learning but still... that’s so cool , honestly she just seems like a smart artistic deep soul.

And not gonna lie, I’ve seen two of her pics and she’s just so beautiful. Like breathtakingly pretty 😔 i swear if she ever posts more, I’ll probably just melt right there and then 😭 but I’ll wait patiently hehe , i just hope she’s happy wherever she is. I hope she’s safe loved and that life gives her every single thing she dreams of :)

I know i am just a stranger to her , another random person scrolling through but deep down i would really love to be her friend 😭Lmfao idk if that’s lame or whatever but it’s true. I just wanna be someone she knows someone who makes her smile even a little but until then i’ll just stay on the sidelines quietly rooting for her and loving her blog from afar :)
