lembro quando saiu o trailer desse filme fiquei meio cismada por ser uma cinebiografia pois os últimos do gênero que vêm saindo não são lá essa coisa ou são simplesmente imperdoáveis, mesmo assim parecia ser bom, e fiquei ansiosa pra ver no cinema depois de ver uma galera falando bem, não consegui ver no cinema e acabei vendo agora que saiu na netflix, que filme lindo!!!!

é visualmente deslumbrante é lindo é vaidoso é a cara do Ney, em alguns momentos quase acaba caindo na mesmisse que toda cinebio costuma ter, mas ele consegue voltar a ser deslumbrante bem rápido, apesar de se passar em uma época terrível pra ser brasileiro e lgbt não é deprimente tipo "olha que HORROR!!! estão todos MORRENDO!!!" em uma cena o Ney diz que a epidemia não veio só pra matar mas pra mostrar que nós existimos e somos humanos, é uma forma linda de encarar um tempo tão difícil e resume bem como o filme trata todos os aspectos mais sombrios dele

quando escutei "homem com h" e "sangue latino" pela primeira vez quando era criança achei por muitos anos que era uma mulher cantando quando eu descobri que era um homem, o Ney, fiquei fascinada pela figura dele, eu assisti recentemente uma peça onde a atriz encenava alguns trechos do livro "agua viva" da Clarice Lispector, em uma das cenas ela diz que existem pessoas que humanizam animais, mas ela não, ela quer fazer o contrário, se animalizar, ISSO É NEY MATOGROSSO!!! até hoje é um dos artistas mais interessantes único excêntricos e originais que já existiu, o filme captura o aspecto animal e humano dele de um jeito lindo, é uma homenagem e é como toda cinebiografia queria e devia ser

as cenas de sexo são as mais lindas que eu já vi, intercalando entre as performances dele no palco e na cama, assisti com um sorriso enorme no rosto o tempo todo, devia ser ainda mais lindo no cinema, o filme ficou pouquíssimo tempo nos cinemas e enquanto ficou, ficou em poucas salas em horários pavorosos, o cinema brasileiro tende a fazer isso, dificultar o máximo o acesso das pessoas aos nossos filmes nacionais, pouco tempo depois da estreia saiu o live action de lilo stich, e ai que tiraram o filme de vez de qualquer sessão que eu poderia sonhar que tivesse pra enfiar o filme da disney em todos os horários possíveis, fiquei muito triste com isso e fico ainda mais triste depois de ver o filme, ele é lindo e importante e merecia ser visto e lucrado bem mais no cinema, infelizmente esse é um problema estrutural que eu acho difícil de ser resolvido, mesmo assim, sendo mais otimista como o filme tenta ser em momentos tristes, fico feliz que tenha entrado em um streaming tão popular como a netflix ao invés de sei lá, a mubi (que eu amo mas só doente mental tem né pfvr)

My obsession with my idea that Glinda is a butterfly and Elphaba is a moth just increased after my best friend wore a huge bow on her hair that made her look like she had a butterfly landed on her head and after watching the Brazilian movie Homem com H where Ney Matogrosso wears two feathers on his head, which kinda makes him look like a moth, while emulating some traditions of Indigenous peoples from his home state (which is also my home state and my Indigenous people). I've always wanted to incorporate feathers on Elphaba's hat to make the connection to my indigenous origins, and now I know how!

They met when Cazuza was still young: a fiery spirit, impulsive, fearless, and unapologetically alive. Though their romantic relationship eventually dissolved, what remained was something far more lasting: an unbreakable bond of affection, friendship, and mutual admiration that persisted until Cazuza’s premature death from AIDS at the height of the global epidemic. In the final chapter of Cazuza’s life, he embarked on a farewell tour. Every show was masterfully directed by Ney — an act of love, care, and artistic kinship. It was during this period that “O Tempo Não Para”, now a timeless anthem in Brazilian music, was born. Ney, upon hearing the song only once, immediately recognized its brilliance and insisted that Cazuza include it in the setlist. That single decision transformed the song into one of Cazuza’s most powerful and lasting legacies. Decades later, Ney still speaks of Cazuza with a mixture of reverence and tenderness, often confessing without hesitation that he never stopped loving him. Their story lingers not only in memories but also in the poetry Cazuza left behind. One, written for his paternal grandmother, Maria José, was found by his mother after Maria José passed away. Upon reading it, she entrusted it to one of Cazuza’s former bandmates, who instinctively reached out to Ney. It was Ney who breathed life into the poem, transforming it into the hauntingly beautiful song “Poema”, which became one of his most celebrated hits. Far beyond the confines of romance, their bond became a testament to chosen love, enduring friendship, and the sacred intersection between art, memory, and resistance. Ney and Cazuza continue to echo through Brazilian cultural history as symbols of artistic freedom, vulnerability, and the refusal to be silenced.
