I've decided to get a tattoo that represents the struggle I've gone through the last 9 years due to my epilepsy. It changed my life and basically put it on hold for 5 years before the doctors could even figure out how to treat it and then another 2 years before the treatment even began to work. Not to mention the effects it has had on my mental health, my anxiety has never been as bad as it was during this time. But I've been resilient and was able to push through it all and have come out the other side stronger. So I've decided to get a tattoo, the only issue is I'm really struggling to find something that I like. I searched symbols and I didn't like them. I don't want a lotus or a Phoenix. It's really hard to find something that speaks to me that also shows what I've been through (for me anyway). I don't want words or the really commonly used symbols. I like flowers, mythology and nature. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. It's not going to be a big tattoo, the two places I like are my ankle or my inner elbow. I could do my side either. It won't be coloured. Nothing to realistic either because I'd be too afraid it wouldn't come out properly. Any ideas are welcome.

I'd like opinions on this.

So I know it's a thing with ai and fanfics. They are taking content that people are writing as well as people writing and posting fanfics with it.

I have a question. Is it bad to use things like chatGPT to write fanfics just for yourself, that you never post for others to read? I don't fully understand the whole AI thing, I never will claim that I do.

Is it bad however to use it to write my own fanfic if I have a very specific plotline I want, that I can't find written fanfiction of anywhere. Remember never posted for others to read, just for myself.

I just want thoughts on this.

I need help finding a demon slayer fanfic. It's a sanegiyuu fic, I'm pretty sure it's completed with a sequel. Giyuu gets kidnapped, I think twice. He gets pretty badly injured and ends up retiring as a hashira due to a serious leg injury. The hashira work together to save him when he's been taken. I think he was kidnapped by 2 demons who had a lot of others working for them and I think he was being kept in some sort of abandoned building. I think I read it on ao3 but I've searched and can't find it. I've also tried to find it on wattpad, but no look. I hope it wasn't deleted. Any help finding it is appreciated.

Additionally, if you have a strong pref for how they have sex, on untagged works you can use find in your browser and search sex scene words like thrust, hole, lube, cock in order to find the sex scenes specifically and only spoil that part. You can also filter out tags you don’t want to see and ones you think might suit your pref. Seer Draco, smart Draco, bottom Draco, are all tags on ao3! There no adult/minor but still do double check the warnings and tags just in case I sent something with a squick!! :) I hope there’s something here you enjoy

I've somehow managed to fall back into the Harry Potter fandom. I don't know how, it just happened, I blame TikTok. A drarry cosplayer appeared on my fyp and I've been sucked back into it. So what was the first thing I did? Why go on AO3 obviously. I'm really struggling to find some fanfics that scratch that itch you know. So if anyone has any recommendations please tell me. I'm totally not picky I swear (here is a very specific of the things I like.)

Draco centered/ centric

Either good or neutral Draco

Smart or extra magical abilities such as a seer (this one isn't a deal breaker but I do love it)

Draco/ Harry or any male character his age or from when he is of age. I dont like any underage/adult.

If it's specified not top Draco, I like switch as well just not solely top Draco, he's bottom or switch.

I do love a bit of protective Harry or other male lead, but not to the point where Draco is a damsel in distress.

I don't like Draco/any female character.

I need some good Zhongli/childe fanfics where childe is actually strong and have a good story to them. Ones that are not 100% focused on smut and don't make either one out to be the weak innocent bottom and the alpha top. I need more fanfics like cyanide narwhal. I love that one, I'm on the second read of it. Anyone who can recommend ones like that will be much appreciated. I'm not asking for ones with like the same story line or whatever just ones that show the characters as fleshed out equals with backstories and personalities, and are more then a few chapters. If you've read cyanide narwhal you'll understand what I mean. Not the same story but one with a similar feel. Please and thank you

Hi 👋 I really need help finding a fanfic. I don't even know if it's still up, maybe that's why I'm having so much trouble finding it.

It's a My Hero Academia fic. All Might /Aizawa.

I'm a little hazy on the complete plot line, I do know however that Aizawa was suffering from anxiety/panic attacks and some other mental health issues. He was tight on cash, he was paying off loads on medical bills. Pretty sure he got injured and All Might brought him back to his house. All Might was really well off. There was a scene where they both went to a department store and All Might asked Aizawa to go pick a cake for Midoriya's mum. I think Aizawa drove a truck. All Might enjoyed cooking food for Aizawa. I think there was a scene where they got food in a mall and Aizawa didn't like being left by himself while All Might went and got food. Pretty sure there was an issue over the food as well, I can't remember if it was because he couldn't afford it or it was something else.

It's really not much I know, but it's definitely been over a year since I read it. I don't even know if it was ever completed.

I'd really appreciate any help I can get finding it, it's really been on my mind to read lately for some reason.

Also if anyone has some Aizawa hurt/comfort recs I'd be really happy 😁

Coming into a fandom late

tumblr doesn’t even pretend to show me notifications any more, if you say something to me and I see it it’s purely because I stumbled upon it by chance in an enchanted grotto deep in the moonlit forest at midnight and will never find it again.

So I had an appointment with my neurologist. It was an appointment to see if it was worth it to change my medication. He had sent me to speak to an immunologist consultant to get his opinion of the best course of action, as my epilepsy is being treated with a mix of immunosuppressants and steroids.

The immunologist didn’t think staying on steroids is the best long term treatment plan. There is a medication that had been used to treat my form of epilepsy that has less side effects then steroids. The down side is that this medication is a lot harsher on the immune system then steroids. 

Almost the whole time this pandemic has been happening I have been seizure free. This is the first time I have been seizure free since I developed epilepsy four years ago. 

My neurologist thinks the best course of action is to wait and see how many months I can stay seizure free before I need another infusion of steroids. He says if I can make it to the six month point, the risk of side effects from the steroids is reduced massively. Any side effects I may get should be able to be treated. The only one they cant help is the weight gain.

He said he would prefer for me to stay on steroids for at least another year and a half just to see how they work long term. Then we will talk again about trying this new medication. He’s of the opinion of, if its not broken don't fix it. 

While I do agree with him at the same time I cant help but wonder if this other medication has the chance of giving me a better long term result.
