I want thick words, thin regrets, a cool spring night with

tea on the burner. I want to be still for a while, watch you

through light & shadows, curating an affinity for the way

errant sunrays delicately cradle your face during the five

o’ clock sun. I want to be as tender as that moment. I want

a songbird that sings praises of you, steadfast devotion.

I want the grass to be soft under your feet, every wildflower

in your presence, to be in bloom.  I want the reckoning, I want

the bruises that are tender to the touch, so I can point at it and

everyone would understand. I want your hands clasped in mine.

I want a soft landing—but the yearning is anything but.

i’d play chess with the ghosts. ask them, which bed creaks the least? who’s legacy hangs in the portraits on the walls? who stacked the stones? 

i’d bask in the sun. though the wallpaper’s eroded, the weeds flourish. i’d tear down the paintings, cross out their eyes. melt their candles and infuse them with wildberries.

my fingertips would cascade down the organ’s keys, brimming the corridors in cacophony. my head would swing high in triumph. a pleased smile erupting through my sweat. music for my ears, but too the sun and the clouds and the rain and the cobblestone walls which would shiver in ecstasy.

i’d let the earth love me. sigh and flutter through my hair. smile from valley to valley, and i’d love every flower in return.

i’d let it hate me. i’d let the water drip and singe the carpets. i’d let it consume the human prosperity. i’d let its moans rupture the mind’s activity. i’d let it take my body even if it killed me.

and the old manor would drown in it all. its books would have taught me the ways, its mortar would have caved the way. and my friends would be free

so the first screenshot is trying to look this up on tiktok normally, "donald trump rigged election" and it says that search violates community guidelines.

the second screenshot is looking up the same exact thing, but with a (australian) vpn on. canadian vpn didn't fix it fyi.

THIS is exactly the type of censorship to be looking out for on tiktok. this actually is crazy.
