4) Have you ever written a fic inspired by a tumblr post?

Yes, I wrote a little one shot based on some of @bananadramaaa 's Wittebro doodles as a gift for them :3 and their Wittebro art inspired me to sit down and write AYCF.

12) Do you write in order, jump around the draft, or a mix? Something else?

I jump around all the time. I scenes and even chapters sometimes, which is how I end up working on two to three chapters at a time occasionally. For example, if I have a scene in my mind for a later chapter, I write it out, then go back and write it in when I get to that chapter. *looks heavily at ch 28*

14) Is there a word or phrase you intentionally use in every fic?

"[Character name] raised [pronoun] eyebrow in [adjetive] or at [characters reaction]

without fail every time.

18) If you have noticed themes emerging in your writing, what are they? What broad themes and topics do you enjoy exploring?

Does a shit ton of angst count? /j, but in all seriousness, I think most themes come to choices the characters make, be it for morals, survival, selfishness, etc... and how those choices end up affecting everything else and others. This is heavily featured in the themes of AYCF and AEITT ( An Ember In The Twilight )

I love exploring human nature honestly, I think well developed characters drive a story, which is why books based around those themes are my favorite things to read.

1: What is the crackiest* thing you’ve ever written? (*I mean this with great affection)*

Honestly, the fic my friends and I wrote, which came from a game of OutofContext (kind of like Franticfanfic), where it involved Hunter-like fighting, Hatsune Miku, Sans, Obama, and Nagito from Danganronpa, and the fic ended with Hunter Exploding. (I'm sitting here still laughing about it 2 years later)

2: Has writing a fic ever changed your opinion of a character?"

Yes, writing a lot of one-shots with Mr. Mansell and Caleb has actually changed my opinion on Minister Bastion significantly. Having Mansell tell Caleb how Bastion used to be when they were younger has actually made me appreciate him as a complex yet tragic villain, and seeing how much he has fallen, from how Mansell remembers him, and who we see in AYCF.

3: Tell us about a headcanon you invented for a fic.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I actually have to be honest, several for the AYCF universe, but that's just canon, cause I'm the author lol

The way I've been kicking my feet just ready to post something I worked 3 hours on

Anyways I've been kinda struggling to embrace my art style which is realism. There are a few characters that belong to @azure-blaze92 that I've been wanting to draw but I kinda force myself to draw as close to the original models as possible which ruins my art style completely.

So i decided to actually draw in my style instead of trying so hard to make it cartoonish.

I like deltarune a lot hauwhw. I was thinking about player accountability (ppl blaming Chara/Frisk for choices the Player made in Genocide route) and Philip's pov that he's a protagonist. Evelyn will hold u accountable/can refuse to attack. Caleb is similar to Ralsei where he has healing snacks he can give out, and Caleb can also PACIFY enemies by convincing them. Technically the "correct" ending is the bad ending because Philip played weird route on his own (you can make Caleb kill demons and it's Not Fun). You can SPARE Caleb after doing all of the other bad stuff and get a neutral ending (if you don't SPARE Caleb, you lose your ability to SPARE for the rest of the game). Caleb fight is mainly him dodging attacks and doing kinda half-hearted attacks at Philip. His dialogue is him trying to convince the player/Philip to stop. Happy ending possible, if you're willing to let go of the idea that you're the protagonist, spare all the demons, and accept Caleb's offer to stay in the Demon Realm.

An Ember in the Twilight follows the lives of two childhood best friends, Richard Bastion and Frederick Mansell. One is the son of their town's Minister, and the other is an orphan bound to the latter's father, living in colonial New England during the 1600's.

As they grow up, Frederick realizes his feelings for Richard go beyond friendship, and unbeknownst to him, Richard feels the same. Yet, even though he tries to deny it. There is just something about Frederick that draws Richard towards him.

But as the years go on, their friendship is tested time and time again, and Frederick slowly watches his best friend fall further and further into the darkness of his own power and corruption. And despite the horrendous actions Richard takes, a small part of him still holds on to that love—like an ember in the twilight.

🕯️~HAPPY BIRTHDAY AYCF~ 🕯️

Two years ago today, I published the first chapter of what I thought would be just another telling of the Wittebane's untold story.

Little did I know that two years later, this story would grow and develop into something much bigger than I ever intended.

My original characters have become so near and dear to my heart. They have become and evolved into their own characters, with depth, lore, and everything.

AYCF also gave me the idea for my original novel. It gave me a community and friends who play such a huge part in making AYCF what it is and bringing it to life.

And I must not forget that I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my readers. Seriously, taking the time to read AYCF means so much to me. It's what keeps me going when I'm struggling in my personal life, when I'm fighting writer's block, and so on.

This fic means so much to me, I can't put it into words.

So, as we gear up to enter the climax of the "Healing Saga," here is to another amazing year of AYCF, and I can't wait to see where this year takes it~

I have been slowly working on a slight lyric rewrite of Servant of Evil, to make it fit these two. I animated a small part of the song (using Raon's cover because it's a peak cover,) over the past two days, and it's colored, so I'm super proud of it.
