Alright!

Time to start working on Spindle and Spool.

Also should be interesting as it’ll be my first non romance focused story (besides my short story Bubblegum Hyperdrive which is group focused) as Sword and Thess are already dating. With the story focused more on battling monsters, exploring humanity and gender, and their natures as non-human creatures.

They are gay for each other though, so don’t worry lol. I mean their fusion form is done by having sex.

Also the body horror will involve no to very minimal blood. Which I feel is a thing I’ve been overly relying on. So time to get visceral in other ways.

An Ember in the Twilight follows the lives of two childhood best friends, Richard Bastion and Frederick Mansell. One is the son of their town's Minister, and the other is an orphan bound to the latter's father, living in colonial New England during the 1600's.

As they grow up, Frederick realizes his feelings for Richard go beyond friendship, and unbeknownst to him, Richard feels the same. Yet, even though he tries to deny it. There is just something about Frederick that draws Richard towards him.

But as the years go on, their friendship is tested time and time again, and Frederick slowly watches his best friend fall further and further into the darkness of his own power and corruption. And despite the horrendous actions Richard takes, a small part of him still holds on to that love—like an ember in the twilight.

If you know me from my main Tumblr, you will recognize them from A Young Candles Flame. Thanks to my friends, their headcanons, and our unhinged voice chats, these two OCs have become very near and dear to my heart, inspiring me to turn their backstory into a full original novel.

BD, the Totally Normal New Farmer

Got back into Stardew Valley recently and made a new Save file to refresh my memory. It turned into a roleplay file where I made a story and everything for the farmer beyond “grandkid of old farmer that moves in, go from there” But you’ll have to wait and see what’s actually going on with this one.

What I can share:

I plan on making little comics for the story (not in any particular planned order, just snippets and events after the intro is done) and she is going to romance Shane.

This doesn’t mean he’s an f/o like Adam is. This is more of a story-driven ship and this BD is more OC than s/i, but I like to put my OC x Canon stuff here as much as my selfship work.

(I only drew and colored BD, all other parts of this are from the game itself.)

Day 1 of 100 days of productivity. Went to a local cafe, worked on the data cleaning for my side project in RStudio, got an iced coffee and poppyseed cake slice. Sent some emails, polished an old blog article and posted it. 7/10 productive vibes today.
