“I wouldn’t mind doing that again.” I say as I drop my bag next to Brian’s bedroom door. My boyfriend chuckles and does the same with his bag and coat.

“Detention?” He asked and kicked his shoes off before jumping on his bed. I laughed lightly at his antics and slid my shoes off too before sitting beside him, running my hands through his hair.

“Yeah, I mean me and Alison and Claire got close and you got to know the guys better. It was also fun, but it’s probably not always like that.”

“Dr.Brackett, this is y/n, my granddaughter. She is moving here because her parents have gotten a divorce. She will be staying with me and I just wanted you two to meet.” My grandfather introduced me to a man named Kelly Brackett. He looked old but my god was he handsome.

“Hello dr.Brackett.” I greeted as I gave him my signature sweet smile. He blushed a little and smiled back a little.

“Hello y/n.” My grandfather then got called away and it was just me and dr.Brackett in his office.

“Please sit down y/n.” Brackett said as he sat in his brown arm chair. I sat in the chair opposite him and straightened my back.

“So why did you come to live with your grandfather?” He asked.

“Well my father left my mother and me and my brother and had four other kids with a different woman. He hasn’t seen me or contacted me in five years. My mother started getting in alcohol and she died two weeks ago from alcohol poisoning. My brother is in his late twenties had two kids and another on the way with his wife. I’m only twenty I had nowhere else to go. I’m getting transferred to the California state university though.” I told him. I felt comfortable with Brackett.

“I’m sorry that happened to you. If you ever need anything don’t be afraid to come find me. And please, call me Kelly or kel.” He responded giving me a warm smile that gave me butterflies. He was so handsome and I felt a spark between us.

“You have very pretty eyes kel.” I told him.

“You are a very pretty girl y/n.” He replied. His eyes darted from mine to my lips and back to my eyes. We started at each other, the sexual tension growing. Then the door swung open and my grandfather came in. Me and kel snapped out of it and I looked up at my grandfather.

“It’s time to go y/n. Kel, please join us for dinner tonight.” My grandfather told kel.

It was around four thirty when I started to get ready. I put on a black silk dress that hugged my body just right and showed a little of my cleavage. It had spaghetti straps and went down to my shins. I put on some natural looking makeup that still made me look beautiful. I put on a pearl necklace and pearl drop earrings. I added two diamond bracelets on one wrist and some sparkly heels. I put on my perfume and fixed my hair. I just curled it then fluffed it out, simple but glamorous.

I heard the doorbell ring and I felt butterflies in my stomach again. I looked around my already set up room and made sure everything was neat, just in case. I had set up my room fairly quick so I could feel more at home.

I heard voices downstairs and could recognize Kelly’s deep one and I blushed. I turned my bedroom light off and went downstairs. My grandfather smiled at me as I met him and Kelly in the kitchen. Kelly saw me and he blushed before giving me a smile.

“Hello again y/n.” He greeted.

“Hello Dr.Brackett.” I smiled and sat beside him on the couch. My grandfather and grandmother was making sure the rest of dinner was ready. I turned to Kelly and smiled.

“You look handsome tonight kel.” I told him.

“You look gorgeous yourself y/n. So beautiful.” He said. I blushed and smiled at him.

“I know this is out of conversation but, do you have a wife by any chance?” I asked him. He chuckled and looked at me with a knowing smile.

“No I do not. I haven’t found to right woman yet. But I think I have met just the right one recently.” He answered. I felt a small pain in my heart. He had found someone else, that was fine i guess. I’m too young anyway. I nodded and looked away, trying to control my feelings and tears.

“And she’s sitting right beside me on this couch.” He added. My heart went from sad to happy and I turned and smiled at him.

“Really?” I asked and scooted closer to him.

“Yes y/n, I think you are just the right woman for me.” He said as he tucked my hair behind my ear and cupped my head. I smiled at him and placed a soft hand on his thigh.

We stared into each others eyes and slowly we started to lean into each other. Our lips were mere millimeters apart when my stomach growled, ruining the moment and making us pull away. I blushed and put a soft hand on my lower stomach and looked away. Kelly chuckled and turned my head to face him.

“You’re so beautiful.” He told me. I blushed and smiled at him. My grandmother came to tell us that dinner was ready.

“Finally.” I whispered. Kelly chuckled and walked to the dining room with me, his hand on the small of my back. I sat next to him at the table. My grandfather at the head of the table and my grandmother across from me.

We all started eating our food and it was delicious. Sometime between the start of the meal to the end Kelly’s hand ended up on my thigh, and I liked it. I ate quickly which I soon regretted later because of my aching stomach.

“Oh y/n me and your grandmother have to go on a trip we will be back Monday and we leave tomorrow morning. You get a whole week to yourself.” He told me. I nodded and the dinner ended and me and Kelly ended back on the couch.

“My stomach hurts.” I moan and sit close to him. He chuckled and put his arm around my shoulder, kissing my head and looking down at me.

“You did eat a lot. But you were hungry.” He said. I nodded and felt tired. I looked up at him and he leaned in quickly and kissed me on the lips. I blushed and laid my head on his shoulder and fell asleep.

It’s now the next day and my grandparents just left and I’m at the phone waiting for Kelly to answer.

“Hello?” His rough morning voice said from the other side.

“Kel, they left you can come over.” I told him.

“I’ll be right there.” He then hung up and before I knew it he was at the house and we were making out on my bed. My hands were tangled in his soft hair and his arms were firmly planted on my hips. He moved us back against my headboard and laid me on my back so he was hovering over me. He pulled away and stroked my cheek with his knuckle.

“You’re so beautiful y/n. Absolutely breathtaking.” He whispered as he admired my face and half naked body. I blushed and gave him a small smile. He had his shirt off but his pants still on. My eyes trailed over his slightly toned stomach and chest.

“You’re so handsome. The most handsome I’ve ever seen.” I told him.

Soon we were both grinding on each other and about to have sex when a small but powerful thought entered my mind. I broke the kiss and rolled out from under him. He looked confused and he sat next to where I was now sitting.

“What’s wrong? Was it something I did?” He asked and placed a hand on my bare shoulder.

“Oh no it’s just, I’m too young for you.” I told him.

“What do you mean? Age doesn’t matter to me. You are beautiful and sweet and passionate. That’s all that matters.” He said and he kissed my cheek.

“But what will my grandfather think?”

“It doesn’t matter, if he really loves you he will realize that love is love.” He hugs me tightly and I hug him too.

“What if I get pregnant?” I ask in fear.

“Then we’ll get married quickly. And it will be okay, I’ll help you and support you and we will be a wonderful family.” He says as he cups my face.

“But, we aren’t even engaged. What if you find someone better. Someone your age?” I’m so scared he will leave.

“I won’t, nobody is better than you. And no we are not engaged yet. But I have a feeling we will be.” He kisses me deeply and lays me on my back. I break the kiss one last time and look him in the eyes seriously.

“You promise we will get married and have a family and you won’t ever leave me or cheat on me?” I ask him. He chuckles and kisses me.

“I promise my soul.”

And he kept that promise.
