Hi! I love your style and I’ve been trying to improve at drawing. Do you have any tips for me?

Omg yes! It’s great to want to keep improving. I personally recommend coloring in your lineart, shading, and adding texture to make your art pop. (Depending on the style you have this can be different) Also watch a lot speed draws by the artists you look up to and take some elements from their sketching process. (Like drawing one part first, simple shapes, etc.) Hope this helps! c:

Forgot to post yesterday but I’m rejoining my June art challenge for the prompt fav animal. I love dogs and I thought those teacup puppies would be fun to draw so I tried two versions, one is more red and the other is more pink.

Hey, i absolutely love your art and art style since it seems like a mix of Vivzie and your own,, and i was wondering how you studied her art style to get it so close to her shape language and fluidity,, cause i would love to draw her characters, but i can’t quite grasp how to study her style and you did an amazing job

And i hope this doesn’t come off as rude or anything 😭

Tysm! When I was younger I really liked the way she did eyes for her zoophobia comic, so I practiced with a reference and over time was able to make it part of the style. For the rest of my style, I’ve always admired the texture and shapes of the Looney Tunes style so I would learn it by drawing the characters. The art program or medium you use can also affect your style, so finding a balance is also important. Also, watching speedraws for artists you like can help you understand their sketching and shading processes. YouTubers like lavendertowne are great at giving advice on art. Developing an artstyle isn’t easy, but over time it will merge into something ya like.
