LET'S GET COOOKIN'
Tumblr media
being loved in complete totality is non-negotiable 18+ below the cut Charon (Fallout 3) x Lone Wanderer
Tumblr media
This is what I am working on - the first fanfic I prefer to keep on ao3 just to ensure minors don't go near it.
Prompt/Description: Charon, because of his larger size and what could be considered his size kink, has always been top, a soft dom motivated by the subtle whimpers of his partner pinned under his might. He can count the times he allowed a partner to pleasure him on one hand. It was a matter of pride and of control. There was more than physical satisfaction in observing a partner dissolve into a blubbering mess. Charon savored that influence; knowing he could control this one small element of wasteland hell.
How does he react to Lone when they offer to change it up a bit; to pleasure him some in return?
(pre-contract release, post-feelings)

FYI - I am still active, just been posting more to my @falloutbaddie blog
'Cause Fallout is one of my ✨️special interests ✨️I made a side blog for Fallout dedicated content so I wouldn't spam my main blog (for fanfics, sketches, screenshots, HC, original content, etc.).

Silly, silly Fallout 3 fanart. I always thought the Lone Wanderer would like to have her own ‘Herbert “Daring” Dashwood’ kind of a thing with her badass bodyguard.

I've found that when I write the first few chapters before posting, I'm more likely to progress or finish that fic.
Tumblr media
I'm guilty of getting excited about a concept, writing the first chapter and then not caring what happens next. Especially when I felt I've captured what I wanted to in just the first chapter, so why keep writing?
[Fallout 4 - inactive] The Damsel in Distress
[Fallout 4 - inactive] Humanity (X6-88, Nora, and Deacon)
Releasing several chapters to start avoids this problem. Besides, there's more to read when I actually have a new idea that gets progressively more complicated with each chapter.
Disclaimer: This doesn't really apply to pure smut. A plot isn't always necessary lol
As a reader, what's your preference?
Context: Enemies to Lovers, Danse x Nora dramatic slow burn 🔥 with lots of agnst, understanding, and overcoming loss in finding new perspectives.

Chapter 5: Brotherhood Might
Chapter 4, Chapter 3, Chapter 2 , Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Danse cautiously opened the door to his quarters where Nora had been left to recover safe from prying eyes and curious initiates. She sat at the edge of his freshly made cot, flipping through the burnt remains of a Silver Shroud comic book. Nora glanced up at the sound of the metal door scraping against the tin floor of the Prydwen.
“You again.” The General of the Minutemen, Nora, responded dully, setting aside the comic.
“Right,” The Paladin awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. “About that, our initial meeting wasn’t meant to go poorly. I apologize.”
“You.broke.my.fucking.arm.”
"Right..."The Paladin nodded sheepishly, finding a sudden interest in the wall decor. “How's the arm?”
“It’s fine.” Though the way she hugged her arm close to her body said otherwise.
Danse awkwardly spun the spare bullet he kept in his pocket between his index and pointer finger.  “So…we found the group of children you were transporting to Sanctuary Hills -”
“What did you do with them?” Nora lept her feet, interrupting him. She moved in so close to him, Danse could feel the warmth of her breath on his 5 o'clock shadow. “So help me if you hurt them, I’m killing the lot of you! We’ll burn this fucking blimp to the ground!”
“Hey, hey hey” Danse firmly gripped her good shoulder, locking into her steel-grey eyes. “Please, don’t talk like that. This isn’t the place to be making enemies.”
“I can handle myself.” Nora hissed, squirming free of his grasp.
“I don’t think you can.” He gestures to her limp arm with confidence. The wasteland must have ruined her to be so blind. Nora was outmatched and outnumbered. There is no faction in the Commonwealth as powerful or respected as the Brotherhood of Steel.
Danse sighed, raising in his hands slightly in metaphorical submission “Let’s start over. My team flew the children the rest of the way to Sanctuary Hills. We left them with a man there by the name of Preston. He seemed rather fond of you.”
Nora paused, eyeing him nervously. “You didn’t hurt him, did you?”
Danse sighed in frustration. What’s it going to take to make this woman believe he’s not just another wasteland monster?  “Preston is fine. I explained that you required specialized medical care that only the Brotherhood can provide.”
“Is that the only reason why I’m being held here?”
“I…” Danse paused, weighing the tension in the room. Clearly, Nora still did not trust him. There was no way to tell if she would provide full and accurate intel. No, not yet. Given the injury he had inflicted, the General likely wouldn’t share such privileged information with him. Scribe Haylen, however… “Look, why don’t we get you to see the doc about that arm?”
“Don’t avoid the question, you….you brute!” Nora shoved Danse, the palm of her good hand pressing firmly against the padded orange BoS uniform.
“I have a name.” He responded flatly, unprovoked by her meek attack.
“You seem to know mine. No surprise you’ve lost your manners.”
He wrapped his hands gently around hers, as a gesture of affection but mostly to prevent her from striking him. “It’s Danse. Paladin Danse.”
The Paladin's light brown eyes and demeanor were unmistakable. There had been countless times where Nate had held her hands just as the Paladin did now. They sweet ways he’d win her back over after some trivial argument. Grief threatened to drop hot tears down her face. It nearly felt like Nate was looking back at her. “Thank you, Danse.”
“I’ll escort you to the doctor for that arm.”
“I said - it’s fine.”
“That so?” Danse reached back into his pocket for his lucky bullet, placing it on the desk with a hefty Clank . “Then, pick up the bullet.”
She hesitates for a moment, debating whether to hide the pain or take advantage of the medical support while she was here. It was her dominant arm, afteral. How long could she survive? Could she ever learn to shoot accurately left-handed? Either way, it wasn't worth the risk. For now, the Paladin was right. She needed the support of the Brotherhood, as much as she hated it.
“Lead the way” she slouched in submission.
Nora watched the busy bodies of BoS soldiers curiously as they rushed from one task to the next. Some people focused intently on machinery. Sparks from their wielding illuminated their stony expressions. Others carefully measured solutions while scribes feverishly took notes behind them. It was surprisingly productive compared to the battle to survive down on the ground. The Brotherhood were doing more than survive, they were innovating by the looks of it.
“Where’s my vault suit?” Nora asked causally, still focused on the action happening around them.
“You still want that old thing?” Danse questioned in disbelief. The tattered Vault 111 suit was in such poor condition, it wouldn't be suitable as a cleaning rag.
Silence.
“It’s in a locker we had assigned to you for your stay here.”
Silence.
“So why did you…I mean, that thing was practically a rag.”
“I was wearing it when my husband was killed and my baby stolen. I just…couldn’t part with it.”
“Oh…I’m sorry.”
“No, i-it’s alright”
Maybe it wasn't worth the risk to issue Nora the fatigues. Maxson was particularly disturbed that BoS property was being issued to 'an enemy of the brotherhood'. “Do you not like the BoS fatigues?”
“Well,” Nora looked down at the loose uniform she wore, “It certainly is more comfortable! Warmer too.”
They laughed to fill the uncomfortable silence.
“Ya know, you really aren’t so bad when you lose some of that power armor and weaponry.  We could almost be friends, if I didn’t think you’d kill me.”
“Nora…” Danse paused at the Clinic door.
“I’ll see you later, Danse”
-the clinic room within the Prydwen-
“Well, I don’t see many civilians here on the Prydwen. You should consider yourself quite lucky.” Knight-Captain Cade flicked open his instant operation kit.
“Yeah. Real lucky.” She looks away.
“I’m real sorry about your arm. Believe me, Danse feels terrible about it. We never had any plans to hurt you.”
“Then what do you want from me?,” Nora scoffed.
The doctor sighed, injecting a stimpak into arm. “The brotherhood of steel is interested in all technology. Intelligence is a valuable commodity to us. They want some information from you. That’s all, I promise.”
“What kind of information?”
The doctor pulls out a chart. “There have been some sightings of an unidentified structure being built just outside the Sanctuary Hills settlement. We want to know what it is. As General of the Minuteman, you have this intel. The Brotherhood gathers technical data to save humanity. That's how we have the medical technology to save your arm."
Nora stared blankly, trying to find a way to respond. But the doctor didn’t press.
“Alright, then. Time for a few medical-related questions for the record. Just answer me to the best of your ability. Let's begin - As a child, were you ever exposed to radiation for an extended period of time?"
“There wasn't that much radiation around before the bombs fell."
"Before the bombs? What? Let me check my notes." Knight-Captain Cade muttered softly to himself, flipping through the files on the clipboard. "Ah, here it is. Vault 111, cryo-preservation testing." He place the clipboard on the desk and picked up the ophthalmoscope. He adjusted the settings briefly before testing Nora's eyes. "Other than your injury, you're probably healthier than anyone else aboard. Anyways, moving on to the second question, Have you ever had or come in contact with a person confirmed to be carrying a communicable disease?"
"I mean, that's pretty hard to tell. I can't exactly ask that when a Raider's trying to fucking kill me."
"Fair point. It can't be easy surviving without the support of the Brotherhood. Third question for the record, and please answer honestly, Have you ever had sexual relations with any species considered non-human?”
“No, no."? Nora shook her head earnestly. ":My husband, Nate, was killed by cybernetic man named Kellogg. He stole my baby. I wasn’t released from my pod until later. Until it was too late.”
“I’m sorry for you loss, ma’am. What was Nate like?”
She pauses “Similar to your Paladin Danse, actually. Sometimes, I can see Nate’s face on his.” She smiles sadly. “He was in the military too, you know. That’s how we ended up getting a spot in the vault.” A pregnant silence filled the room, grief choking her. “I really miss him. Everyday.”
“I’m so sorry. Well, your arm should be fine in a few days. I have one of the initiates at the bar escort you back to Danse's quarters. Elder Maxson says your welcome to stay, but you walk freely. It's just a matter of privacy, you understand”
"But the Brotherhood still wants my secrets?"
"Well, yes..." Cade avoided the topic, glancing outside the clinic to see who was chatting at the rec-room bar. "Scribe Haylen? Escort Nora back to the Paladin's quarters?"
"Yes, sir." Halyen responded, guzzling down the remainder of her beer before rushing to his side.
"Alright, you should be well enough to leave in few days. I'll have the Paladin stop by to answer any questions you may have. Good Evening, General" Cade held the door open as Nora passed through, shooting him a suspicious glance.

Chapter 4: Rules be damned, I will help her [part 2]
Description: Paladin Danse is called to the command bridge of the Prydwen to meet with Elder Maxson
Chapter 3 - Rules be damned, I will help her [Part 1], Chapter 2 - The Paladin, Chapter 1 - The General
Tumblr media
The expanse of the Commonwealth sprawled out for miles in every direction under the Prydwen. From the nearly 360 degree view of the command deck, you could see the sharp remains of Boston, like jagged teeth on a wild animal.
Danse instinctively stood up straighter, tightened his stance, and held his breath. This was the command deck. Every bad day, every successful mission was given and reported on from this very room. Just before him stood the solitary figure of Elder Maxson, statuesque against the daylight flooding the room.
The Paladin swallowed nervously, “You wished to see me, sir?”
Elder Maxson whipped around aggressively, his face flushed with rage. Either that, or his refusal to remove his heavy jacket despite the standard temperature controls set on the massive Brotherhood vessel. “She’s here?! Inside the Pridwin? And you gave her a Uniform?!” He roared angrily. A scribe flinched but continued his dedicated note taking.
“Yes…” Paladin Danse responded in a measured tone. “...but I don’t think she’s a threat.”
“Not a threat? Are you hearing yourself, soldier?! She is not one of us and therefore, she is our enemy! You could have brought a synth replacement for all we know.”
“You can’t be serious,” Danse scoffed, frustrated at the Elder’s inability to see reason.
“Aren’t I?” Maxson snapped back instantly. His rigid body fueled by firm, unrelenting beliefs in Brotherhood doctrine.
The sound of leather boots on metal rungs broke the tense silence as Knight-Captain Cade ascended to the command deck. He clambered into view; blood stains still fresh on his BoS issued white coat. Cade didn’t hesitate to speak up upon entering the supposedly ‘private’ meeting between Elder Maxson and his favorite Paladin Danse. “Elder, please. Paladin Danse tells the truth. I examined her myself. The woman is clearly human.”
Elder Maxson gritted his teeth; his prominent jawline tightening under controlled anger. Paladin Danse was technically replaceable. Knight Orin was been requesting a Paladin promotion for months. But Knight-Captain Cade? Well, such proficient healers were uncommon in the end-times. “Fine. I will hold you to that statement, Knight-Captain.” The Elder sighed, turning his back to them. Maxon leaned on the steel railing, staring at the sprawling wastes below. He was god in this ship. Above it all, dominating the Earth. He should be the one to choose when to provide salvation. What’s the point of being Elder if he didn’t get to make these important decisions. “But I want her to be accompanied at all times. She is not allowed access to any classified information. Do you understand?”
“Maxson…” Danse mumbled softly. Trading knowledge would be easier than integration. Trust would acquire more information on the actions of the Minutemen. Extreme restrictions could limit his ability to complete the mission - learn what the Minutemen are building in Sanctuary Hills.
“That’s Elder, Paladin.”
“I don’t think she needs to be our enemy.” Paladin Danse insisted. “Nora cares deeply about the people of the commonwealth. We have a similar goal, to protect civilians from the dangers of uncontrolled technology. We could work together. She has connections, information.”
“I know the vault dweller is a valuable asset.” Elder Maxson huffed, “That’s why I sent you out to interrogate her!”
Danse paused, weighing the importance of his station against the woman who currently was recovering in his quarters below.
“Are you questioning me, Paladin?”
“No sir.” He responded, deciding to play it safe.
“You have derailed this essential mission long enough. You have wasted valuable Brotherhood resources on dying children and playing ‘nursemaid’ to our enemy.” The Elder glared at the two soldiers. “When she’s awake, get the damn intel. Do I make myself clear?”
“Yes, sir.” Knight-Captain Cade and Paladin Danse responded firmly in perfect unison. Saluting with a solid beat as the heels of their boots clacked together.
“Good.” Elder Maxson smiled to no one but himself. “Ad Victoriam.”

$153 million well spent!
- The fallout series has a 93% rating on rotten tomatoes 🍅.
- Given the talented storytelling, there's always the chance it could bring in some cinema awards (The Last of Us, a well made series adaption pulled 78 wins & 132 nominations).
- Prime video marketed this series real aggressively. I wouldn't be surprised if the Fallout series is streamed frequently as a result, both by fans and curious others.
- Given the amount of collabs related to this release, they're bound to make some of that back.
'Wow, this Fallout series is really well made! The sets are detailed and spacious, there's plenty of extras in the background, the story telling/writing is smooth and well-paced, and the acting is fucking phenomenal. I wonder how much this production cost to make, given even the first episode is 1hr 15min?'

Let's judge the Fallout series collector boxes together ( •̀ω •́ )
FIRST UP! Fallout x Bones Coffee Company
Time for a ROAST hehehe
Tumblr media
First impression: she's giving pre-school construction realness.
Tumblr media
WHAT ARE THOOOOOOSE?! Look at hose fuggly metal shits. For $60, they might as well make it with real metal clasps.
Tumblr media
AND WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!
Tumblr media
The box interior is alright, but it feels more akin to artwork or fan art. That this collection box is more faithful to the series itself rather than to the universe the Fallout show is set in.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The skeleton standing in the iconic Vault entrance is pretty neat looking. But the coffee bag 'Pip-Boy item' isn't doing it for me. I think it's the highly detailed logo on the coffee bag that throws me off.
From a consumer/collector perspective: This product was sold out in under 3 hours, per the Bones Coffee website. I saw the tweet yesterday announcing this release. However, the product was already sold out by the time I received the email from Bones Coffee.
Next up! AriZona x Fallout
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The variety pack sold by AriZona iced tea feels like it could be found in universe. If the box was dirted up a bit, it would fit right into the games. Essentially, I think AriZona did their research when creating a collector's box that fit in-universe themes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Additional note for AriZona: They have made some super cute in-universe ads for these drinks! You can tell a fuck was given.
From a consumer/collector perspective: AriZona's twitter does a pretty good job of communicating updates to their exclusive Fallout collaboration. The AriZona x Fallout variety pack pictured above is currently available on Amazon for 36 USD.
Last one! Jones' Nuka Cola
I got more invested in the Fallout Universe after graduating from college. Because of this, I absolutely missed out the NukaCola Quantum release in 2016 (related to the Fallout 4 game release)
Tumblr media
I am so excited to try what 'Victory' tastes like. That is certainly a more abstract flavor to cultivate. The packaging itself looks very nice as well. Notably, the bottles are labeled nice. AriZona may have had a fancy box but their cans still have some focus on the brand. The labels here are centered on the Fallout Universe first and the brand second.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the exclusive marketing imagery: Jones got the label RIGHT! I love how they added that staticky-old screen effect to their logo. It makes it blend right into the art.
Also worth mentioning, unlike Bones Coffee and AriZona, Jones has a whole website dedicated to their Fallout series related product (linked below). What interested me the most on their site was the comment on 'Caps 4 Gear'. I didn't see anything Fallout related yet, but that could be something exciting to look for in the future!
Tumblr media
From a consumer/collector perspective: The price did feel a little steep, despite considering the need for amble gentle packaging. A single 4-pack is currently being sold on the Jones website for 25 USD. It'll take some time between placing the order and receiving the product. But if you are interested, there are still pre-orders available :)

On Love & Loss
For mature audience, TW: Grief, Fear, mild gore
Chapter 3: Rules be damned, I will help her [part 1]
Description: Soldier's fortunate enough to board the Prydwen are expected to adhere to her rules. The rules protect the sanctity of BoS intel, dangerous technology, and future plans involving the Commonwealth. This knowledge in the wrong hands could devastate the BoS. Understandably, tensions run high and rumors rampant as Paladin Danse carries the unconscious body of Nora, General of the Minutemen aboard. Can Paladin Danse convince the Brotherhood to accept her?
Chapter 2 - The Paladin, Chapter 1 - The General
- Aboard the BOS Prydwen -
Paladin Danse grunted, adjusting the woman’s weight in his arms.
Her arms swung with each step. His strength fought against her momentum and gravity as he walked past a group of gossiping initiates. They crowded over their drinks, staring at the bloody body in his arms. Danse shot them a quick nod. It was natural the initiates were curious. It was a direct breach of procedure to bring wastelanders aboard the Prydwen. Even a Paladin could not avoid a scolding for such a choice action.
It had to be quite the sight , he thought. The woman’s blood dripped on the floor; bone where flesh should be. Her vault suit was torn, dirty and bloodied. An expected consequence to wandering the wastes without the protection of the Brotherhood. Especially without adequate armor and weaponry.
“Padalin? What’s the meaning of this?” Cade folded his arms, standing outside his designated clinic.
“Unexpected medical emergency on the recent reconnaissance mission, sir.” Danse stated flatly.
“We have procedures for a reason, soldier. This female could be a synth imitation. A potential spy you just brought willingly inside the Brotherhood’s most technical asset.”
The initiates at the bar went silent, nervously watching the tension rise.
“Sir,” Danse lowered his voice to a respectful whisper. “This is Nora, appointed General of the Minutemen. She still wears the Vault suit from 111. Of all of us, she is the least likely to be a synth. See her injuries?” Danse took a step closer, forcing himself directly in Cade’s line of sight. “She is clearly human and needs your help. So do your job and I’ll worry about the consequences.”
The Prydwen doctor sighed, his shoulders sagging in defeat. “Alright. Bring her in.”
Danse pressed past Cade into the clinic, laying her unconscious body on the examination table.
Cade pulled his stethoscope to his ears, shooting a brief glance of judgment at the worried paladin. “You certainly did a number on the young lady. I believe your orders were to make contact? A rather literal application, even for you.”
“Just see what you can do, doc.” Danse caught the sharpness of his tone. “Please.” He added, rather sheepishly, his brown eyes suddenly fixated on the wall.
The Paladin watched as Cade took her vitals, recording them on a new patient form. The doctor worked with the smoothness that only years of disciplined practice could develop. Cade knew were every supply was. After all, he stocked the clinic himself. With a sickening SNaP, Cade set Nora’s arm.
“Now, this is going to take some time to heal. I’m not sure what information you wanted to get out of her, but I’ll want to keep an eye on her for a while. I’m sure you’ll get another chance. Granted, Maxon can accept the presence of a guest aboard.”
“...I need to freshen up” Danse stared at the dried blood on his hand, remembering the fragile weight of carrying her body aboard.
“Look, Danse. You did the right thing. She is as human as they come. Hell, even in her current state, she’s practically the healthiest soul aboard.” Cade watched a small degree of tension release. Perhaps I had reacted too harshly. Cade took a mental note to rationalize with the Elder. “She’ll be fine. We can always give her a proper brotherhood welcome when she wakes up.”
Paladin Danse stiffened, “I’m not sure she’ll be open to that.”
“That’s for her to decide.” Cade straightened up. “Now you better go freshen up and report to the Elder. She’ll be here when you get back.”
Danse looked from Cade to Nora’s resting body. That old Vault suit had seen more terrible days than it ever deserved. More than it was ever prepared to, by the looks of it. The wasteland must be truly barren to offer nothing else.
“Something wrong, Paladin?”
“No - well…Could you have someone bring her to my quarters? She should have somewhere private to rest. I’m going to chat with Proctor Teagan about getting her properly outfitted.”
“Danse, listen.” Cade waited in patient silence until Danse’s sad brown eyes met his. “This isn’t like Cutler-”
“Why would this be anything like Cutler? I hardly know the woman!” Danse snapped, though he admittedly could feel the weight of guilt and grief dragging him down. The cold, metal floor never looked so welcoming.
“I-just. It’s not your fault, soldier. You broke protocol, but she wouldn’t have stood a chance if you didn’t.”
“Thanks.” Danse spoke flatly, exhausted physically and emotionally. He gave a lazy wave as he walked out of the clinic.
