Tumblr is just a nice little place where you can take off your ‘real person’ face and roll around in piles of garbage tailored to your unhinged hyperfocus five minutes before you stand up and go back to your zoom meeting

An Emmy nomination? For Laura Neal? For writing that weak-ass bullshit finale? I think NOT.

Not overthinking interactions and not worrying what people think of me is a daily battle but I’m determined to win.
#if the Donald trumps and fuck bois and racists and homophobes and Christian extremists can exist in this world with full confidence#in themselves and zero worries about other peoples opinions#then fuck it I can do it too#personal

People nowadays are so obsessed with redemption arcs like. Give me a good corruption arc. Watch me go wild over my favourite characters going mad and committing atrocious acts against the very nature of humanity

Can’t even express the level of my anger and frustration that this trope is still occurring. Everything about Killing Eve was fucking amazing and then they had to go and fuck it up. And I’ve read that the book doesn’t end this way, so it’s not even that they wanted to stay true to the book (which isn’t even a good enough reason anyway).
Not to mention, what happens next? Eve isn’t going to let it go. She would be out there fucking shit up, she’d go and kill Carolyn herself, and then what? Drink herself to death? Become the next Villanelle? Take down all of MI6?
It's not your imagination. A LOT of people hated the finale of Killing Eve. (KilltheTrope.org)

sometimes i think about how constellations are an entirely man-made construct and don’t actually exhist inherently in nature. i mean, the universe just gave us stars, and we saw art and myths and stories in them. the capacity that humans have for seeing purpose in the incidental makes me realize just how lonely we are on this planet, desperately searching for meaning elsewhere in the universe.

I hate being barefoot and I hate wet feet, but there’s nothing quite as healing as kicking off your shoes and playing in the summer evening rain 😌
#personal#shouting into the void because I have so many good feelings right now#the feel of the grass#the sound of the rain and the birds and the insects#so peaceful
