Batman Beyond: The Last Resort
Okay, this episode is *creepy*. A treatment center for teens that parents send to, because there's new laws that parents are liable for their actions. This one legitimately freaked me out.
The kids absolutely do get brainwashed, and the tactics they use are straight out of some freaky sci-fi stories. The '1984' trailer from Apple comes to mind.
Terry goes to check in on a friend, but gets caught in the process and "admitted." The story is great. I'm a psychology student, so the whole thing seriously rattled me. Go watch it. The series is on Blu-ray!

Dungeons and Dragons (1983) "The Box"
This one was way cool, they open a chest that leads to weird places, which changes based on where the chest is placed on the ground. Six year old me would have eaten this up, I love things like trap doors!
What's really cool, is they actually make it home! For a minute, at least ...

Thundarr: Challenge of the Wizards (Blu-ray)
I really liked this episode! A bunch of wizards have a bet going to see who can survive the gauntlet.
I honestly never get over how nice the quality of this background art is. This is obviously a labor of love.

Star Trek: The Animated Series - Once Upon A Planet
I never watched TOS growing up, so this is the only exposure I've ever had to it. There are some surprisingly really good stories. And they got at least four of the main actors from the TV show to do the voices, so that's pretty cool! If you're a Star Trek fan, I'd recommend checking it out.

Thundarr: The Barbarian - Mindok the Mind Menace.
Hi all, I really like to make posts about old "Saturday Morning Cartoons" that I grew up with, so that's what I'll be doing. I'm not sure of the format yet, and so feedback is appreciated. I go back and forth of doing "reviews" of an episode, or just an art post where I highlight the awesome animation that I like even more as an adult. Reviews are a little tricky for me, because I haven't really found anything that I would rate under 3 stars. For now, though, here you go, just some art from season 1 episode 3: Mindok the Mind Menace. I just barely got it on Blu-ray and I think it's absolutely gorgeous, so I just have to share. Enjoy!

Super Friends: Yuna the Terrible (1980)

It was awesome! Features a tug of rope war between Yuna and Wonder Woman, over a pit of panthers in the middle! Very cool, I liked it a lot.

Super Friends: Voodoo Vampire (1980)

A vampire comes out of her crypt and can turn other people into vampires. She even gets a couple of the Super Friends. I didn't like it much the first time around, but the more I think about it, it rates as a good episode.

Super Friends: Invasion of the Gleeks (1980)
The earth is invaded by Exxorian monkeys, who learn the strengths and weaknesses of the main Super Friends. The crazy part is THEY ARE RANKED. Superman #1, Wonder Woman #2, and Batman + Robin #3

Super Friends: Mxyzptlk Strikes Again (1980)
I absolutely love Mxyzptlk! He's one of my favorite characters, and I love the stories to see how they manage to trick him and send him back home. In this one, he gets the Super Friends to fight each other.
Green Lantern makes an appearance, we don't see him very often. In this cartoon he makes items to use against people in battle. I've never seen much of GL so I always thought this was just a gimmick they used. I didn't realize though, that this is normal for him. I think.
I saw this video game trailer of him in it though, and I guess that's pretty much how they do things with him. I'm not sure if he is that way in the comics as well. I've never ready any of them, but I wouldn't mind picking one up.

Challenge of the GoBots: Episode 5 of a five-parter, The Final Conflict (1984)
I really messed up on this one. The first season is a big story arc, and I haven't been watching it consistently to follow it too well. I'll go back and watch it again sometime. The art is great.
I *vaguely* recall having a toy of Leader One growing up, but I'm not sure. I definitely remember having some Transformers though. When I was 8 I had a "diary" and my first entry was on whether I should trade mine with another kid's. (I didn't).
Is the story a basic clone of Transformers? Kind of. They do start out on Globotron and leave, but I can't remember where. I really do need to go back and watch it. I also remember liking this better than Transformers series as well.
Oh, and yes, for the record, I do watch stuff other than Super Friends. I've also been watching M.A.S.K. on and off lately, and some Pole Position as well. I've got 44 more SF episodes to go, we'll see what happens after that.
In my defense of not watching a whole episode all the way through, I have an incredibly short attention span. Sometimes I can't even make it through a 7-minute Super Friends cartoon. So, it's hard. Doing a five-parter is especially hard. I want to go back and see what I missed.

Super Friends: The Killer Machines (1980)

This one was way awesome, sci-fi is my absolute favorite. A sentient robot wants to take over the world, and it can communicate to the Hall of Justice's computer just by being on the trouble alert screen. Batman comes up with a clever solution!

Super Friends: The Evil From Krypton (1981)

An evil Kryptonian villain escapes from The Phantom Zone and goes after Superman! We get a few brief shots of the Fortress of Solitude, including that SM has a device to send people back to TPZ. Fun episode.

Super Friends: The Creature from the Dump (1981)
This one was cool and fun. A weird oil spill in a junkyard comes to life and starts terrorizing the town. Batman becomes infected, too, and also turns into a monster.

The Batman: Q&A (2004)

Jumping back to season one again, picked this one at random. The Plex description tells the whole plot. I'm still very impressed by the quality of the stories. Very original, I'm liking it a lot.

Super Friends: Stowaways From Space (1977)
This one stood out to me because at one point the Wonder Twins turn into an octopus and an ice unicycle to attack something, while the same thing happened in a Teen Titans Go! episode at the very end! Both great shows. :D

The Batman: The Breakout (2006)

Batman gets captured in this one, which is pretty cool, we don't see that too often (that I can think of). Batgirl and Robin have to protect Black Mask from getting broken out of jail. I have no idea if Black Mask is a new guy or not, I keep watching everything out of order. Right now just bouncing back and forth between seasons 1 and 4, probably not a good idea that will catch up with me later.

I started wondering if I should rank the episodes I watch or not. I hate to give anything a bad rating, and I just won't post about one that doesn't seem too interesting. Maybe I'll just leave it at that.
The worst thing though is I feel like being a critic takes away from the experience. I just want to watch cartoons and have fun, that's the best part. I like it simple. :D
One other thing I worry about taking the experience away is starting two new shows close to the same time. The second one always overshadows the first, regardless of how good it is, so I don't want to do that.
Case in point: I play 'Star Wars: The Old Repulic' a lot .. like, a lot. It's pretty common for me to reboot a char because I want to do the story over again, and it's super fun, but if I reboot *another* char shortly afterwards, I lose almost all interest in the first one...
I don't want that to happen with my cartoons. I'd rather enjoy watching 'The Batman' and stick with this a little bit, then jump into something else and forgot I got this one at all. So, I'll probably stay on here for a bit.
I started watching GoBots the other day, and now I've completely forgotten about it (just noticed it because I was going to document in Plex what I've been watching). So, it's already happened. Batman replaced GoBots as the latest one to watch. I have to be careful.

Teen Titans Go!: You're Fired (2013)

Beast Boy gets fired, and the team only wants Jayna, and Zan gets stuck being a receptionist. It's one of the funniest episodes I've ever seen :D
