And it’s sad that often Black/BIPOC characters trauma on screen whether that’s marvel or something else’s is often overlooked or is overlooked due to their white counterpart!! I really think a lot of people equal trauma to tears so for them anybody who isn't shown crying on screen doesn't have any trauma.

Otherwise why would you even think Sam's trauma isn't show in the show or in the movies???

Does this look like a person who is "fine" to you? Can't you tell that he's going through A LOT ???

He even said it: he's thinking about Isaiah and everything he went through.

Sam's trauma isn't "implicit" it's shown onscreen, I really really don't understand why people insist that we don't see it on screen.

He doesn't confide in Bucky because he says Bucky wouldn't understand.... And you know what Bucky did in episode 5 of TFATWS? He apologized and admitted he, in fact, didn't understand what Sam was going through.

In Captain America: Brave New World, we can clearly see that Sam isn't doing well after Joaquin was hurt. Especially after everything that happened with Isaiah.

Why do you guys always have to see tears in order to sympathize with non-White characters?

We have only one scene of Bucky crying (with tears of joy) and no scene of Steve crying but you can all see their trauma, but somehow "Sam's trauma isn't shown on screen".

Is it not shown or are some people just not looking?
