Frodo is submissive-leaning.  He was a bit shy during your first time together and had little to no experience before meeting you.  However, he's immensely attentive and likes to learn from you; he constantly asks if you feel good.

The entire time, Frodo wants to make sure you’re alright.  He doesn’t want to do anything you’re not comfortable with.

One thing Frodo would never do is hurt you, physically or verbally.  He never wants to see you in pain, much less be the one inflicting that pain.

He loves when you're vocal and receptive to his touch, so he knows you're enjoying yourself without asking you outright.

Frodo’s vocal as well, mainly because he can't help himself.  Whenever he receives oral, he’s reduced to an incoherent mess, rambling your name while he gasps.  His hands gently tug on your hair, and his mind can only focus on how gorgeous you look in the moment.

The more despair I endure in life, the more I love Frodo. I'm just. I'm so glad that Tolkien wrote him like that. He was a hero and it broke him. He was given too much to carry. The circumstances were dire, everyone was doing the best they could, and Frodo tried so hard, for such a good cause, and he...broke. And the narrative has pity for him, the characters show him kindness. Even after victory, his hurts did not heal, and it isn't considered his fault. He must go to the undying lands, to seek out peace there. In universe, he is forgiven for being human - don't be pedantic - and his great torment is recognized. He fell. He could not have done it alone. He is still a hero.

And, I think that's important.

Every hobbit in the town of Hobbiton—and many more from the outlying regions—was invited to the massive celebration. To the young Frodo Baggins wandering through the crowd, it seemed that each and every one of them had come. Plus some, he judged, as a line of his uncle’s well-wishers nearly crushed him in their eagerness to get to the buffet. This just happened to my post from earlier! It’s not even as explicit as other posts that are easily accessible on here!

I really hope more people will become vocal of how the Community Labels are doing nothing but killing interactions (which we’re already low from before) for content creators here on Tumblr 🙃

In theory? Yes the labels seems like a fantastic idea! It gives creators more freedom to post and express themselves however they want!

But in practice? The function is absolutely awful! As soon as a post gets a Community Label slapped on it, it’s basically dead! Shadowbanned! Censored! Nonexistent! This is most likely (I think?) due to not many people actually knowing that this function even exists so the content that they usually would enjoy is now completely hidden from them because the function was launched with the Mature Content being turned on for everyone automatically.

And the worst part of this function! PEOPLE CAN SUGGEST A COMMUNITY LABEL ON A POST! OTHER USERS! Not just Tumblr. This is going to get abused to bits (and definitely already is) by people that maybe just don’t like a creator so they want to see their content crash and burn.

I really hope Tumblr reconsiders this new function and make some HEAVY changes to it or just remove it altogether, because I wouldn’t be surprised if more and more people leave and quit this site because the content they put their heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears into dies within a few hours…

Frodo tried his best to keep his little crush away from the others (aside from Sam, who knew right away)

the moment he laid eyes on you in Rivendell, the hobbit was smitten

of course, he was thrilled when you volunteered to go with him, and the others, to take the ring to Mordor, but he was always frightened of what might happened

throughout the journey he tried his best to keep an eye on you, though at times he had to remind himself you were more than capable of protecting him and yourself

and it wasn’t soon after you and the Fellowship left the Elven estate that the others picked up on his fondness for you

Pippin was the first to say something, as he soon grew tired of watching Frodo watch you wistfully

“here” he said one day, shoving a handful of randomly picked flowers into Frodo’s hands “the least you could do is give these to them”

Frodo was shocked, to say the least

after that incident, it was Boromir who offered a suggestion

“In order to win their heart” he had spoken during a small training break between him and the other hobbits, “you should offer to help with their belongings, lighten their load a little bit”

Frodo could tell he was only trying to help, but it was an odd conversation between the two of them

soon enough the rest of the Fellowship picked up on Frodo’s crush on you, and they all offered their suggestions in order to help the hobbit court you

Legolas suggested he braid your hair at one point, to which the hobbit refused in a sputtering mess

Gimli said he should try to sharpen your weapons, show you that he cared enough to help you out

He considered it, but in the end didn’t do so as he realized he didn’t know much about how to properly sharp and shine a blade

It went in like this for weeks, and each day a new member of the Fellowship would voice their suggestions or give Frodo pointers on who to win your heart

You, however, despite the constant bickering between everyone and people making bets on whether or not Frodo would actually say something, you never figured out the hobbit actually liked you

It was months into your travels before you even got a whiff of his feelings for you

of course you noticed the stares and the little smokes he would show you, but you merely thought he was being friendly

you didn’t put two-and-two together until you happened to stumble upon his and Sam’s not-so-secret meetings did you hear about his feelings

“You should say something to them, Mister Frodo” Sam spoke, his small knife working skillfully on the small potato he had in his hands to make supper “I’m sure they’d appreciate knowing,”

you were confused at first, but dared not say a word as you hid behind a large rock in the clearing

you were supposed to be on watch, but after an hour or two of sitting in near darkness as yo watched the tree line, only the fire being a small light to you, you grew bored and wandered over to were the others were preparing to eat

that’s when you overheard the two talk

“I don’t think that’s a good idea Sam,” Frodo sighed back, his fingers idly messing with the ring around his neck as he stared into the fire “it would only ruin our friendship— besides, what could they see in me?”

you weren’t exactly sure what the two were talking about, but hearing Frodo put himself down like that hurt you

sure, he wasn’t a fighter, but he had his own qualities that you absolutely adored and wouldn’t trade for anything else

“Come now, Frodo,” Sam scoffed and looked up from his half-peeled potato, “You don’t have to be blind to see that you’re an amazing Hobbit, y/n surely knows that!”

“Quiet down, Sam!”

hearing your name mentioned in the conversation made you pause, as you began to feel guilty for eavesdropping on the pair, but now you were certainly interested in hearing what either one of them had to say

now that it was being mentioned, how Frodo had started treating you, the glances and even the small touches were starting to make sense to you

of course he was shy, but it was often you’d catch him staring at you, or sometimes you couldn’t tell if he was truly hurt or if he just made up an excuse to hold your hand or have you hold him in some way

everyone was pleasant and kind towards you, but Frodo seemed to always smile wider when you looked his way, or you noticed how he would skip next to you whenever your quest continued

it all made sense to you now

“I’m being serious, you should just tell her!”

“Now isn’t the time—“

“Tell me what, Frodo?”

the two hobbits jumped in fright before they’re eyes opened wide when you finally revealed yourself

Frodo’s skin lost all of its color and he was quick to turn away from you, and it seemed that Sam did the same until he cleared his throat and stirred his pot of stew

you looked between the two before walking over, and you quickly ignored your task as you sat down next to Frodo

The area remained silent as the two shared a look, and it wasn’t long before Sam stood up and scurried off after giving Frodo a small pat on the shoulder

you looked at him quietly, waiting for the flush on his cheeks to die down whine he gained some composure back

yet he remained silent, only small gasps coming from him whenever he thought he had the courage to speak

his actions caused the hue on his face to darken, and soon enough he grew flustered and agitated with himself

he wanted to tell you the truth, about how much he cared for you and now that you were next to him, waiting for him to speak, he was frozen stiff

“It’s alright, Frodo,” you were gentle as you reached for his nearly trembling hands, a soothing smile on your lips as you ushered him to look at you “you don’t have to say anything; I already know”

“you what?” he was mortified to say the least

you couldn’t help but chuckle at his reaction, and you hoped that the small squeeze you gave his fingertips would help him to relax, but it only caused him to blushed harder and look away “don’t worry though, I only just figured it out”

your words did nothing to soothe his racing heart and pulsing nerves

Frodo was hot with embarrassment, the tips of his ears turning a pink color as he fumbled for words “i-im sorry! I was hoping you wouldn’t find out!”

his eyes grew wide when you cocked an eyebrow at his statement

“no! wait! I wanted you to know! j-just not yet— I mean—“

it was adorable, the way he stumbled and hurried his way through speaking

the longer he tried to form coherent sentences the redder his face became and the deeper he fell into a boiling pit of embarrassment

you continued to let him speak for, a soft smile on your lips until you decide to try and calm him down once more

“Frodo,” soft fingers cupped his cheeks as you moved his head so he could look at you “it’s alright, I promise”

you pressed a warm kiss to the edge of his lips, and once again he froze when he felt the pressure of your lips against his skin

when you pulled away your smile grew bigger as you took in his still flustered form, however you moved to interlace your fingers with his before tugging on his hands to make him look at you again, not just your lips

“please don’t worry,” you told him softly, your hand pressing the back of his knuckles to your lips before you brushed a fallen strand of curly hair behind his pointed ears “I like you too, just as much as you do me”

I turned over onto my side for what felt like the tenth time in the last few minutes. The constant nights sleeping on the ground with only a small fire to keep warm was beginning to take a toll on my body. What I would give to wake up tomorrow in a nice warm bed with a certain hobbit clung to my side. I love the idea of this. A lot of LOTR Fans’ hearts were broken when Frodo left for the Undying Lands, leaving behind Sam, Merry and Pippin.

The sun shone through the window of a Hobbit-Hole in the Shire. The warm rays lit up a room, where two figures lay cuddled in the blankets together. One figure, Frodo Baggins, was spooning the second figure, his wife, [Y/N] [L/N]. Frodo sighed and stretched lightly as the sun awoke him. Opening his blue eyes, he smiled as he gazed upon the sleeping face of the love of his life.

[Y/N] was a fellow Hobbit of the Shire. However, she was slightly different from her neighbors and friends. She was half-Dwarf and half Hobbit. Her father had been a Dwarf of the Iron Hills and her mother had been a Hobbit named [M/N]. The two had met when [M/N] decided to travel and ended up in the Iron Hills. When [Y/N] was born, [M/N] returned to the Shire to raise her daughter in peace. That’s where she met Frodo.

When the One Ring had been discovered, [Y/N] wanted to go with Frodo. She wanted to make sure that he was safe, if she was one of the few Hobbits in the Shire who actually knew how to fight, besides Bilbo, however, that was in his much younger years. Gandalf had appointed [Y/N] to protect both Frodo and Sam until the reached the Praning Pony in Bree. When the started the journey to destroy the Ring with a Wizard, two Men, a Dwarf, an Elf and five Hobbits and the Fellowship broke at Amon Hen, [Y/N] went with the Hobbit she had fallen in love with. Sam accompanied the two.

A few years after the Ring was destroyed, Frodo and [Y/N] confessed their love for each other. A few months after, they were married.

Frodo propped himself up on his elbow and brushed his wife’s hair away from her neck. He leaned down and gently kissed the exposed skin.

“[Y/N], my Love, it is time to awaken.” Frodo whispered. Said Hobbit groaned and hid her face further into the feather filled pillow. Frodo chuckled. “[Y/N], you can’t stay in bed all day.” He said. [Y/N] groaned again, turning over on her back and placing her arm over her eyes.

“Says who?” She asked, sleep lacing her voice. All of the sudden, two pairs of feet came rushing into the two lover’s room.

“Mama! Papa! Get up!” Frodo and [Y/N]’s oldest child, 10 year old Azalea, shouted, climbing onto the bed. Her younger brother, 5 year old Drogo, named after Frodo’s Father, tried climbing up after his sister, but was lifted up by [Y/N]. Frodo chuckled as he held his daughter in his lap, now sitting up.

“Says Azalea and Drogo, apparently.” Frodo said. [Y/N] chuckled, setting Drogo in her lap.

“Do I have to, my beloved children?” [Y/N] asked. Drogo nodded.

“Yes, Mama! You promised you would take us down to see Uncle Merry and Uncle Pippin today!” Drogo said. Out of all the Hobbits that they knew, Merry and Pippin were by far the siblings’ favorite. Mostly because they got the children into and out of trouble all the time. [Y/N] sighed.

“Alright,” she looked at Azalea. “Azalea, can you help your brother dress? Papa and I will be out in a little bit to get breakfast ready.” She said. Azalea nodded.

“Yes, Mama. Come on, Drogo!” Azalea called. She climbed off the bed and then helped her brother down. Frodo smiled at his children. After getting dressed, the parents made their way into the dinning room. [Y/N] walked over to the head of the table.

“My beloved family,” she said, catching her chidren and husband’s attention. “I have a marvelous surprise for you all. She said. Azalea gasped.

“Is Mr. Gimli coming to visit?” She asked. After learning that the two Hobbits had married and had two children, Gimli, son of Gloin, the Dwarf who had gone with to destroy the Ring, traveled to the Shire once a year to say hello to the happy family.

“Are we getting a puppy?” Drogo asked. [Y/N] shook her head.

“No to both of those. It hasn’t even been a year yet, Azalea.” She said. [Y/N] smiled down at her flat stomach and rubbed it lovingly. “Azalea, Drogo, you two are going to be older siblings,” she looked up at her family. Azalea and Drogo’s faces burst into smiles. They started running around the kitchen, shouting, “we’re going to have a sibling!” Frodo walked over and placed his hand on [Y/N]’s stomach.

“Have you thought of a name yet?” He asked. [Y/N] nodded.

“Fíli, for a boy, named after the Prince mentioned in Bilbo’s story, and [M/N] for a girl.” She said. Frodo smiled.

“I love it,” he turned around and looked at his children. “If you two don’t sit down, Papa’s going to catch you and tickle you!” He shouted. Azalea and Drogo screamed and giggled, running front their Father. [Y/N] smiled as she watched. She and Frodo really had a perfect family. Their perfect family.

Hello! I stumbled across your blog and saw you write for frodo so I figured I’d make a request, I hope that’s alright!

Could I get a fic where the reader and frodo are in love love, and the reader follows frodo on his journey to mount doom, helping him as much as she possibly can, and when they get back, frodo doesn’t go to the undying lands because the reader helps him heal and they live out their happy little hobbit lives with happy little hobbit babies and frodo just can’t believe he got lucky enough to experience it all after what he’d been through. Basically just something fluffy with frodo being at peace and happy after the ring.

Frodo Baggins x Reader

Frodo my beloved

Frodo sat on the bench outside of his home, a pipe in his 4-fingered hand. His wife was inside resting as he watched over the children. He couldn’t believe he had gotten here.

The fires of Mount Doom were once all he could think of. He thought he’d never see the Shire again, never see your face again. He thought he didn’t deserve to either. Dragging you along on a bloody adventure you hadn’t signed up for...it was shameful.

But you had forgiven him. You had been forgiving him all along, giving him a second chance.

He was brought out of his thoughts by your youngest, Marigold, climbing onto his lap. She was just 3 years old, but she was very inquisitive and always asked questions about his hand. Not wanting to explain the whole thing to a toddler, he always just joked that it fell off one day when he didn’t eat his vegetables.

It worked, though. Marigold ate vegetables almost religiously, unlike her brother who was a bit too old to believe his father. At 6, Sam was very skeptical of everything people told him, he had to see for himself in order to believe something.

That’s just how life was with your 2 (soon to be 3) children. Frodo was a doting husband and a caring father. He never took life in the shire for granted.

“Papa, when will Ma feel better? She’s been feelin’ real sick, hasn’t she?” Sam said from his place across the garden.

“She’ll be okay, Sam. Remember when she had Marigold? She was much worse then.” It was true. You could hardly hold down water when you were pregnant with her.

Sam lost interest in the conversation pretty quickly and went back to making mud pies. Marigold was now resting her head on Frodo’s lap, her father toying with her hair with his free hand. He wished Bilbo could see him now, happy with his family.

He heard the door open behind him, and Marigold shot up to see who it was.

“Mama!” She squealed with excitement.

You looked tired, with little bags under your eyes but still had that kind smile on your face. Frodo stood up and quickly walked to your side to help you down the front steps. Your midsection was getting larger, and it was hard to do such things by yourself.

You took his seat on the bench, Marigold chattering away beside you.

“Are you alright, ma? You look real tired.” Sam asked, concern in his little voice. He had mud all over his arms, but had miraculously kept it off his clothes. Thank god. You were in no condition to do laundry at the moment.

You gave him a smile. “I’m alright, Sammy. I just needed a little rest. I’m okay now.” Frodo stood beside the arm of the bench and knelt down to lay a kiss on your head. Such a small point of contact meant so much.

You were just so happy with this. Happy that you had been there for Frodo when nobody else could be. You had come so far in your adventure. From Mordor and all the way back to Hobbiton. You had your 2 and a half kids and a little white picket fence. Though you’d probably stop after the third child is born. Samwise already had 8 of them, and they showed no signs of stopping. It gave you a headache just thinking about it.

“C’mon kids, let’s go clean up for supper. We’ve been working on that stew you like all day.” Frodo said. Marigold obeyed and ran up to the front door, waiting for you and Frodo. Sam put up a little resistance, not quite done making mud pies but still getting hungry. He eventually folded and went to join Marigold.

Frodo stepped towards you and held out a hand.

“Let’s go, my love.”

Dating Frodo Baggins Would Include

You have such a tender and tranquil vibe together

You and Frodo don’t talk much

At least not about serious stuff

Not because you don’t trust each other or because you don’t want to

But usually because things are going really well and you rarely need it

Still, you do notice when the other is feeling down

And you subtly cheer the other up

Frodo is extremely tender and soft

And every single caress is sweet and loving

Walks around the Shire holding hands and chatting

And smiling at the other

Using the other as pillows

Constant hugs

And cuddles

And soft tender pecks 

Kisses on the cheek and head

He’s always smiling

And when you’re around even more

You smile at the other a lot

In fact, you can read the love in his eyes as he looks at you

Frodo’s never afraid to speak his feelings

So he often tells you how much he loves you

And elaborates on why he does

Hanging out with the other hobbits

And having Pippin and Merry tease you about your relationship

Samwise becoming really close with you through Frodo

You’re actually best friends with him

And have lots of fun with the other two

The four of you often hang out and go have a drink

Frodo is very observant and takes mental note of the things you do

For example, if he sees you admiring a certain type of flowers

Then he would bring you a bouquet of said flowers

Going with him when he leaves the Shire

Everyone in the Fellowship immediately sees your dedication to the other

And sticking with him and Sam on the way to Mordor

Helping them a lot

And comforting them when they need it

Even if Frodo tries to be strong for your sake 

Encouraging him when he’s on the verge of giving up

And taking care of him after he’s wounded

Living that adventure together just got you even closer

Affection With Frodo Baggins Would Include

Frodo is quite an affectionate person

He really enjoys showing you as well, to tell you he loves you

He especially likes snuggling with you or holding you

Frodo is happy when you are between his arms

He always smiles at you and caresses your hair 

He loves that too, playing with your hair, it’s so soft

So when you put your head on his lap he likes it too

He also likes teasing you a bit, being playfully and joke around

You yourself show your affection in your own ways too

You like taking his hand since he doesn’t do that often himself

But other than that, he’s pretty open to all displays of affection

Like kissing you as well, even if he gets a bit shy in public

When there’s someone around he will kiss you only on the cheek

But he adores hugging you at any time, and taking you by surprise

Those unexpected tight and warm hugs of his are the best

You’re just a couple of cute and smitten lovebirds basically
