Have been looking at all this ancient art lately of those Majestic Danmei men with long flowing hair, dramatic robes cinched at the waist with tight belts accentuating their waist and buns and I can't lie, all I can think is: "Sir, that waist is snatchable and those buns look very squishable."

A random Post for Xuan Ji

This post came out of the blue but I wanted to write about her.

She is a major antagonist in the TGCF. She is a wrath level ghost. She killed many and even tried to sell the Intel of her country that she was meant to protect. Her actions are irredeemable. I agree but in this post I just wanted to simply talk about "Xuan Ji the girl" , not anything about her crimes .

The Xuan Ji we see is a proud and obsessed woman whose maddeningly in love with Pei Ming. She doesn't understand right wrong and would have kept doing it if Xie Lian wouldn't have interfered.

But I imagine the time when she was just a little girl who was not a warrior yet,but eventually was destined to become the General serving her nation. All she must have known growing up is to wield weapons , spending all her time strategizing to win battles ,no time thinking of friendship or love for that matter. She doesn't have the time or liberty to act all soft or reveal her emotions lest she will be taken advantage of. She has an army to command.

Now suddenly she's defeated ,the only objective of her goal to protect her country coming to a standstill and being the proud general she decides to take her own life without any hesitation or second thoughts.

But here comes the Men in shining armour to sweep her off her feet.

Before she can understand what's happening she is being kissed senseless perhaps for the very first time in her life and by her Enemy General no less

She is still reluctant to go any further than this. But let's be honest a girl whose only known fighting all her life , knows that she doesn't have any room or time for love and other feelings and has accepted the fact that she would probably die either in the battlefield or by taking her own life suddenly is being kissed and called Beautiful and that to when she's in an armour and battle gear and not dolled up like a fragile maiden ,by a handsome Enemy General no less. How can she resist those blossoming feelings knowing that this is perhaps the only chance to get a taste of the forbidden fruit called love for her.

It may have started as a fling. For Pei Ming it definitely was nothing than just time pass,but for Xuan Ji it was a first. She gave all her firsts to Pei Ming.Falling in love with Pei Ming was inevitable. She didn't knew what she was getting into and couldn't differentiate between fling and love.

But being abandoned without actually being given a proper reason and simply being told that people fall in love and fall out must have been quite easy for a player like PM and who thinks women are lesser then men,but a person like XJ who had experienced her first love definitely wasn't so easy to understand how feelings can easily evaporate. First love is hard to let go off.

Her actions aside something when I saw this scene in the donghua it made me ache to see her in such a state.

It's a tragedy but not everyone is meant for flings. Some seek actual love and stability and once they're abandoned they end up broken. Xuan ji is one of those characters. Her love was as fierce as her personality which eventually burned her.

FENQING but RED WHITE and ROYAL BLUE AU

Those memes also feel so real in context of Fengqing. Even after becoming a couple still arguing like dorks.

From arguing to clearing out misunderstandings and finally getting to know each other to chatting day and night to falling in love with each other and sneakily liplocking behind closed doors. From having a rough patch in their relationship to fighting for their relationship.

I love Red WHITE and royal blue. And one time while reviewing the movie I kind of imagined FENQING in this situation and I really liked it haha.😆😂

I am wondering about Feng Xin and Mu Qing's first fight as Martial Gods of the South. Imagining that during Xian le era their fights were usually verbal bickering with each other and the hand to hand one was only during sparring.

So after ascending they never had a full blown fight. So imagining a scenario where after a meeting all the Gods are moving out and due to some comment now the two Southern Gods are facing each other like two tigers sizing each other up. Of course every heavenly official (are more like those gossiping neighborhood aunties🤣👀) is anticipating this showdown with fervour,after all the tragic story of Xian le Kingdom is something everyone has known,but to see a drama unfolding between two Gods of the most popular tale ;nobody wants to miss. They are all betting against whose gonna win and blah blah.

First MQ and FX are simply arguing and throwing barbs and insults. But than MQ says something and FX loses his cool and actually punches MQ using his power and MQ crashes in a nearby pillar. FX is flabbergasted because he didn't had any idea about his strength and is about to react before a spirit ball is thrown at him and he also crashes on the fountain in the middle of the Grand avenue.

The other heavenly officials definitely loved gossiping and betting,but they are also speechless because of the damage the two Southern Gods had done. Once this starts, there's no turning back MQ and FX attack each other in full swing not at all caring about anything and anyone. Earlier the officials were cheering and applauding for them,but now they're dragged in this crossfire as well(it's fun to imagine officials cheering and than getting accidentally hit with spiritual blasts😂 or rubble falling on them from the infrastructure). They are now definitely scared and scramble away for their lives. FX and MQ both are covered in injuries, bleeding and panting harshly but not backing down. Some brave officials try to intervene and stop them get non intentionally thrown away to the other side of heaven.🤣

I have a separate scenario for Pei Ming here😉. PM has just returned from a mission when he sees the officials gathered around what seems to be like an arena and his deputies explain it to him about the situation. PM himself has heard about the Xian le story and is intrigued. He has never closely seen the two newly ascended Gods and wants to see what's gonna happen.He sits in a high balcony from where he can get a clear view of the two and his deputy keeps on updating him about the Xuan Zhen and Nang Yang in picture (basically gossiping about their backstory). PM is definitely enjoying this show down alongside his deputies,apart from the drama he wants to study their Xian le fighting style and techniques and blah blah. He is enjoying before the situation escalates and the newly ascended Gods are now adamant in destroying the heavenly property.💀 When PM sees that none of the other officials are able to break their fight he himself descends to the arena to put a stop as the fight has dragged for too long and it's no longer an entertainment but an actual serious situation. He initially (as you all know) gives them his charming smile and chides them like he's talking to little kids but than MQ passes a comment and FX reacts and they start all over again and this time when PM actually steps to bodily intervene he also accidentally becomes a victim of a spiritual ball (its hilarious to imagine PM's handsome face getting covered with soot and his hair in disray). Now PM actually loses his calm and actually smacks the two of them on their head(FX and MQ both are tired +PM is stronger when he actually gets serious). MQ and FX finally fall down because of exhaustion and sporting similar bumps on their head.(You know like the Shinchan scene where Mitsi hits Harry and Shinchan and they grow bumps on their head😂) something like this 👇

Finally the fight comes to a stop and other heavenly officials start weeping (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) and thanking General Ming Guang for saving the heavens from destruction .MQ and FX had to be admitted to the medical pavilion. The next day another meeting is held and Jun wu although exasperated actually finds it amusing to see the two Southern Gods bandaged from head to toe. The one holding their reigns is PM and he also sports a bandage or two on his face 👀 (PM is sulking). JW actually comments on that huhu and PM actually glares at the two and they shiver like two younger brothers who are disciplined by their older brother.(I have mentioned in my earlier post also about how I like PM to have that annoying big brother energy🤭). Ling Wen is on the other side of JW nursing eyebags and a headache because she had to stay awake all night calculating all the damages the Southern Gods had done to the heavenly property including injuring other heavenly officials.

So yah this is the first and many other fights yet to witness in the heavens. But at least the other heavenly officials learnt their lesson about how to stay feets away from General Nan Yang and General Xuan Zhen during a fight and never to intervene if they value their lives.😁

Sudden thought that after Shen Yuan wakes up in Shen Jiu's body he doesn't visit the brothel for a long time.The Brothel jie jie's get worried for their A-Jiu thinking that the sect has imprisoned A-Jiu and one day they storm the sect asking after their Shen Jiu and threatening of dire consequences. But when Shen Yuan is summoned and the Jie jie's cannot see any sign of recognition in his eyes....

(haven't thought anything more then this prompt that the brothel Jie jie's love him like their own brother.A misplaced soul in a world which doesn't understand them.)

Is it weird to feel sad for an antagonist?😅

I know it might be OOC but read a fic where different characters from SVSSS make a memorial kind of for Shen Jiu. The fic goes like they miss the old haughty and rude Shen Jiu. They remember a part of a shared memory with him so they go to that memorial whenever they miss the old Shen Jiu.

Also this reminds me of a fanart I saw in Twitter where Liu Qingge actually recognizes that this is not the old Shen Jiu and despite of enjoying time with the current changed Shen Qingqiu he still misses his actual Shixiong.

It just makes me sad for the end that Shen Jiu got. It wouldn't have been that painful if he would have gotten a closure or something. But no his soul just extinguished away like a burnt flame of candle , simply gone without anyone to mourn. He wasn't happy as a child,nor as a teen , nor during his end moments. He achieved a feat that would have been impossible,but he did with his willpower,but what was the end result?

I agree how Airplane bro didn't wrote a backstory for Shen Jiu or if he did he decided to keep it aside, otherwise his fans definitely would have been turned to Shen Jiu pro.😭🥺

Xie Lian in his Fangxin Guoshi days always reminds me that did XL get a taste of his own medicine about how much he must have exhausted his own Guoshi 😂. I mean sure LQQ seems to be the type who would actually ask ridiculous questions ,but I also believe he couldn't compare to the menace that XL was as a child (Don't get mad at me Hua Chengzu🙇). I mean XL rightaway shrugging of MN's advice and even giving him snarky and hilarious replies without even getting embarassed haha. And I don't think XL was actually afraid of his own guoshi , while LQQ was actually scared of XL. The XL ,LQQ met after XL's third ascension is a complete different person then the Guoshi he knew.

I was just searching about Fenqing and came across this in the TGCF shipping wiki page.Right now I felt like focusing on FX and talking about him. Will definitely love to talk about MQ in a different post.

So FX is the loyal bodyguard of XL who had been with him since he was 14 years old.He was trained from the very beginning to be XL's bodyguard and even to lay his life down for XL.Unlike MQ whose background is actually hinted with having an ailing mother and a deceased father ,we don't have anything about FX's family, he's like a piece carved solely for XL's sake.I bet before parting ways FX must have believed his existence is clearly for XL's sake.After parting ways FX must definitely have had a hard time in figuring things out because unlike MQ who had ambitions and is a planned person,FX is a simple minded guy. His qualities makes him stand out because he's loyal,protective and is not at all schematic like the other heavenly officials.I think this is his greatest quality that must win the trust of others. I think separation would be difficult for FX because he must be suddenly thrown into a world where he doesn't have to revolve around XL and it would have completely shifted his perspective of the world. To figure out things like what are his priorities,what he should do , where he should go and stuff like that. I think the very first time FX actually thought of someone apart from the Royal family was Jian Lan. Meeting her and spending time with her must have been the first time he must have indulged himself.That's why it is saddening to imagine how FX must have felt when both XL and JL would have asked FX to leave.I won't deny that it was really hard to imagine FX of all people to actually have a son in the novel,but I do believe he would have made a wonderful father and partner.I wonder how FX must have felt to actually see the women he loved and his son (Idk if it's mentioned or I don't clearly remember whether the foetus started resembling a proper child or what) turned into a ghost and the knowledge that he could have been a father.

As I mentioned above that FX is a straightforward guy,he is honorable (if you remove his cursing ofcourse and temper issues🤣), helpful. His greatest asset is his sincerity and loyalty,if you manage to get on his good side ,he won't ever betray you. He would make a great friend whom you can rely on ,that is FX's personality and that's why he's compared to a dog. Even JL mentioned in the novel that if FX knew about their existence he would jump to take responsibility irrespective of the damage he will incur in the process.

MQ is a sensitive person,but FX is a different kind of sensitive in his own right. FX is pure and based upon the things he's been trained on, it comes naturally for him to protect others and be a source of reliability, and interestingly he got rejected from both the most important people in his life.I cannot help, but think this must have really hurt him badly to not be able to fulfill the duty he was trained for his whole life. The guilt of leaving XL that he carries without masking it,is a clear indication of his regret.I hope that the tragedy with JL and Cuo Cuo doesn't add up to the guilt and hurt he already harbours inside his heart.Just like he amends his relationship with XL throughout the novel and Post canon, like wise I hope he's able to have a proper closure with JL too.

It's just a headcanon ,but just imagining a scenario where MQ takes on a mission and after completing it he's drained and only has energy to call FX in his communication array to help him. Twist comes here that due to high levels of Yin,MQ against his will transforms into his female form (please don't ask for the details,it's just a rough sketched scenario,I'm not a fic writer 🤣) and cannot return to his male form because of his low energy. In the distance FX descends with a lightning strike and from a distance his grumbling is heard and as FX approaches near he actually screams like a maiden when from the fog emerges a cold beauty he wasn't expecting.MQ albeit embarrassed just smirks seeing FX's reaction.While ascending back FX has to hold MQ by the waist ,but he's so nervous and on the verge of passing out. Somehow they manage to ascend to heaven without any mishap ,but MQ has already a mischief planned on his mind.

A few days later MQ and FX decide to have a friendly sparring match in FX's training ground. While they're fighting FX kicks MQ and he falls on the ground and just as FX is about to touch MQ ,MQ grins and transforms into his female form and FX ends up squishing his boob (or wait a moment ,it would be more hilarious that MQ kicks him on his ankle and FX actually falls face first on MQ's chest and gets a face full of boobs🤣,but yah he will pass out if that happens). A horrifying scream rings across the palace of Nan Yang as FX screams and runs to the nearby fountain to wash his hand and curse MQ loudly and MQ is still sprawled on the ground laughing like a maniac.

FX barges into MQ's palace as usual without knocking so MQ decides to teach FX a lesson 😂.

This keeps on repeating. MQ deliberately changes into his female form from time to time to scare FX away. To add more fun to that he keeps on changing his attire which accentuates his figure even more.One time he even calls him ,"Feng Xin Gege(⁠＾⁠∇⁠＾⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♪and this time FX finally passes out. It takes a whole day for FX to regain his conscious lol.

(I think it's a funny idea that post canon rather then fighting with insults and violence,they use such methods to tease the other)

This might be an unpopular opinion, but TGCF fans keep teasing Feng Xin who came up with a simple way in naming his clone Nan Feng by picking up Nan from his official title and Feng from his name,but what about Pei Ming? His literal title is Ming Guang which he himself made by picking Ming from his Pei Ming name and Guang from his childhood friend's Rong Guang?Sure it was initially chosen to be his swords name ,but my point still stands.🤭

Ok so my brain is still stuck with Fenglian. So there is one picture in the book post canon where Hua is Cheng pushing Xie Lian on a swing. It just reminded me of how Feng Xin would have been the first person to push Xie Lian on a swing during childhood.During their Xian le days, Xie Lian absolutely loving the swing and asking Feng Xin to push him and refusing to get down for hours. And one time he even made FX sit on the swing and he offered to push FX ,FX refusing but who can win against a stubborn XL. Later on FX would insist that he enjoys to push XL in the swing more and vice versa.

Everybody talks about failed love relationships or break up between lovers,but what about friendships?

Especially friendships that are forged since childhood.Friends who have been a significant part of each other's lives and have seen,shared and spent so much of their time together, making memories. Seen ups and downs,but still remain strong.

When those friends drift apart,what about that kind of pain?

And when you see them again after a long time ,you have that ache , longing and yearning again of the time long lost to the past. When you spend time with them again and see a new action that you aren't familiar with or when you see a change in their choice ,then you realize," Ah! I didn't knew that ,I don't know their likes and dislikes anymore.

There's so many feelings and so much to say ,but no words to join that bridge anymore..

Feng Xin and Xie Lian have known each other the longest and probably have also more shared memories of a fun childhood. Their interactions are also the most aching to see post-Xie lian's ascension. Unlike MQ whose best at hiding his feelings and saying the opposite of what he wants,FX is the kind of guy who wears his heart on his sleeves. He cannot and has never tried hiding his expression and how he feels in XL's presence. The sad kicked puppy look that we fans are amused to watch is all that amassed guilt,concern and repentance. His outright concern when XL returns injured,him defending XL when XL gets kidnapped and there's so many more moments that shows FX's feelings.FX staying in the mortal realm more then heaven is an indirect indication of his intentions.

After meeting with XL ,as Nan Feng he's definitely more comfortable in spending time with XL then as FX. There's one scene that actually pinched me was this.

It's ingrained in FX's nature to protect XL.And XL wouldn't have mind it at all ,but it's clear that when HC is around XL will lean on him rather then FX like in olden days.(ofcourse change is necessary,but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt). I don't remember it clearly because it's been a while since I read the novel,but I think they have mentioned FX's reaction when XL actually follows HC.

This scene from TGCF S2 perfectly fits the context ,so just imagining if post canon Fenglian have a talk and apologise to each other,I bet Feng Xin will be the first one to break down and cry, because XL has made peace with the way things are for a long time now ,it's only Feng Xin (and Mu Qing) in a way who couldn't let the past go.

I like Liujiu pairing. The original Shen Jiu and Liu Qingge. I have seen and read many fanfics of Liujiu and I enjoy it. There dynamics is pretty similar to Fenqing. And after reading that extra chapter in Scum Villain novel which focuses on the life of Original Shen Jiu, where he tries to save Liu Qingge twice, once during a mission as teenagers where he fires a blast to protect Liu Qingge from a demon behind him , but Liu Qingge mistakes it to actually Shen Jiu trying to attack him , even Airplane bro testifies for that in the extra. Also in the Lingxi caves when LQ qi deviates SJ doesn't kill LQ ,he tries his very best to save him , but LQ still dies anyway. And it was stated that SQ was devastated. So yah all these hints really makes me wonder that they would have make a fun couple just like Fenqing.

Potential brotherhood between Wei Wuxian,Jiang Cheng and Jin Zixuan

So I really feel that after Jiang Yanli's marriage these three actually had the potential to improve their relationship.

I mean sure they started on wrong footing. JZX being rude to Yanli and thus the hostility between him and JC,WY ,but I think this could have gradually changed. I mean ofcourse the constant tug of war between the three would never have ended. Like the episodes in MDZS Q where JC and WY trying to fail JZX's attempt to impress Yanli. JC was much more tolerant and patient compared to WY with his interactions with JZX and after marriage even JZX changed and became a bit more open and patient with WY. So yes I feel eventually they could have developed a better relationship. JC and WY tryin to bully JZX would never end ,but it would have been more playful to Yanli's amusement then any actually harshness.

Idk but I feel that before JZX's death the expression he had when telling WY that Yanli was waiting for him was very grief stricken and tender. He could have sported an angry look or could even have cursed WY ,but no he didn't.(Ok ,I might be thinking too much).

But yah it's saddening to imagine what they could have being.
