Being super book smart/smart when it comes to certain things, but super dumb when it comes to street smarts.

Three careers I personally think INTJs would be great at

1. A Judge.

INTJs are naturally logical thinkers. We love truth, and some people have called INTJs a walking human lie detector. INTJs will make a decision with a very level-head—never relying on emotions. With these qualities and a few others, INTJs would make great judges.

2. Criminal profiler

INTJs are great at picking up patterns and clues that most people normally wouldn’t notice or acknowledge. INTJs are very analytical and think things over thoroughly. These are great skills for criminal profiling.

3. Writing

Writing is a good career for INTJs for a few reasons. Since a majority of INTJs love to work alone, writing is perfect in that way. With writing, you can sit hours by yourself with your own thoughts, exploring your creativity. Most INTJs are always reading and educating themselves. This makes for a great writer.

can INTJ be a procrastinator especially when it comes to things they’re not interested in?

I suppose that if it’s something you truly despise or something that is uninteresting to you, then yes, you’re more likely to procrastinate. Honestly it depends on each individual. I typically don’t procrastinate very much, but I’m sure a lot of INTJs do.

I did my test and it say I am an INTJ. I can be affectionate when I want to and hug my friends and sisters when I feel like it but I keep seeing people say that INTJ are not affectionate at all. I’m confused if i’m truly an INTJ or not.

If you don’t feel like INTJ is your type, you could take the test again and answer the questions more accurately if possible.

Another thing I should mention is that INTJs are affectionate, especially with things they love like their friends or family. Every INTJ is different in the way they show affection. Some INTJs like to give hugs, others will write notes and some will give gifts. There’s many different ways, but I hope you get my point.

Hi, I have debated the whole day wether I should write this question or not but I'll just ask, two weeks ago I realized that I love someone, it was a turmoil, I even had a panic attack because I felt so overwhelmed and scared, I told that person the next morning because I thought it'll be better (and they are reciprocating them) but I don't feel any sort of better, I still feel so overwhelmed and basically annoyed at myself all the time, Why this supposedly good thing makes me feel bad?

Hi! I’ve never really felt this way before, but I’ll try my best to help you.

You could possibly be feeling like this for a few reasons.

Reason one is that you don’t want to accept your feelings. Sometimes that is a hard thing to do. If this is the case, take a few days for yourself and work them out; come to accept them.

Reason two could be the fact that maybe you’ve never felt like this before and your brain doesn’t know how to handle it.

I can’t really think of anything else. But if these overwhelming feelings continue, talk to someone you trust like a family member or a close friend. And if you need, feel free to message me.

I’m not sure what type I am. On all the tests I’ve gotten INTJ and later I studied the cognitive functions and I’m pretty sure I’m INTJ, however I’m not sure if I have inferior Se, and I’m beginning to question if I have Si and Ne? I think I am an introvert as I’m quiet in large social situations and find them quite tiring and overwhelming, but I can be loud around my friends, louder than some of my other introvert friends. I’m very confused, any way to help me decide what type I am?

Honestly, only you can know what type you are. Do some more research about the INTJ type and the other types.

Another thing to remember is that not all INTJs are the same. We all have different ways we act and do things.

It seems to me like when you are with your friends, you are in a place where you feel more comfortable to relax. But when you are in other social situations, you are less comfortable with your surroundings. Though I don’t know much about you, it seems like you are for sure introverted. The rest is up for you to discover.

my online intj friend occasionally goes offline without explanation. usually it's bc of her uni or her depression and every time, I feel helpless. I want to comfort her and be there for her but at the same time I feel lonely without her. I'm starting to think I'm being a bit toxic with how I feel and that scares me. any advice?

It’s not toxic to feel lonely. Everybody gets that way.

As long as you understand why she goes offline occasionally and you don’t bother her too much about it, everything is fine.

Just make sure that she knows you are there for her. I understand you feel lonely when she’s offline but I don’t think it’s being toxic.
