Hc: Hakugan has been burned severely when he was a kid (left part of his torso + upper part of the left arm) so he always wears long sleeves to hide his body. He also is silent, so he communicates with his crew with asl and sometimes morse code.

All the Heart pirates know the signed language and sometimes speak with it even if both of the one who discuss can talk (same for morse code)

I'm pretty sure if Kija had taken seriously his transformation to accompany Yona and Yeon in V6CH34 he would have been so pretty. Unfortunately his body was in cons (right hand and mens muscles) and he couldn't have gone with them anyway (but we would have had the right to a drawing of Kija in a dress)

Headcanon that he has learned to dance in hakuryuu village and was pretty good at it, and in V11CH65, he dances for the fire appeasement festival before Yona beautiful dance.

He met Killer in a dead end in the earth kingdom. The man had his left arm burned by a firebender and a lil open wound in the head. And without even began to think, the waterbender was on his way to take care of him (That day, he never thanked this much Law for all the knowledge his has been able to teach him)
