I find this hilarious yet somehow thought provoking because since we know that the Miraculous increases all physical and mental abilities to superhuman levels it's only obvious that repeated use is going to start to affect the users physical nature, and I mean not small time use like the rest of the team I mean like Mari and Adrien practically live in theirs going on hours long patrols with daily uses.

Okay but can we just stop and consider the implications of this, like Percy whole heartily marches a team of mist confused lawyers through Olympus streets and into the throne room to start drawing up the contract, the lawyers are probably wondering why a 19 year old is debating with a bunch of adults with a cow in the corner over them taking custody of their children but this is new york and they've seen weirder

Personally back when I first watched the show I fully believed Dani deserved her own full plot line filled with her doing whatever she wanted, whether that meant she got her own show or random episodes showing what she's up to.

While yes this does take away her getting a good home, but honestly if even a molecule of real world building was sent her way she could have gotten it both ways

Thinking about how Dani's episode is called Kindred Spirits, which implies that her unique narrative role is to mirror Danny and act as a foil to him, and then the episode is like "Here's some ✨superficial similarities✨. She is now going to leave the plot entirely and be 💖homeless💖"

Honestly I don't see what's wrong with it redrafts happen all the time, not to mention backstory holes like this is practically inevitable when writing a book series spanning this long apart and this massive, not to mention it's the authors prerogative while the fact that her parents aren't mortal may very well be not a big factor of the story now but while I haven't read the second book yet from the extract alone I can tell the fact that her parents are mortal play a pivotal role in this book and connecting with valkyrie so maybe he likes it that way.

Or maybe his made an incocent mistake and has chosen to change a single line in a 8 year old book instead of rewriting what is no doubt a massive chunk of a later book
