The Bold and The Beautiful: Season 1, Episode 7 (1987)
Okay, I change my mind- this is now my favorite episode for ONE reason. Caroline and Thorne. Oh. My. God. The chemistry between the two of them- I love it. I see more chemistry between them, Then I do between Caroline and Ridge (Who’s only with her out of spite for her father, and to get laid). I absolutely love the way that they listen to each other- and how he looks at her and how she smiles at him- it’s adorable and they’re always going to be my favorite ship in the show.
Moving on- Today’s Episode was jam packed full of- well, everything. Brooke announces to her family that Dave proposed- to which Katie feels that she’ll never get a boyfriend. But, Storm asks Donna to set her up with someone. Although Donna hesistates, she finds a guy at the library who’s a douchbag- but thinks he’ll be alright enough for her sister. He later calls Katie- and asks her on a date, to which she agrees. Finally, Beth Logan says Eric’s name several times at the tail end of the episode.
Meanwhile, Stephanie calls her daughter (who’s really forgettable), who has a bad relationship with her mother. She won’t be making it to the wedding- and neither will her sister. Thorne meets with Caroline again (aww) and they get to know each other a bit. She asks questions, and he answers. Pretty much the whole plot. Towards the end of the episode, Stephanie tells a certain person to never call back ever again- who’s this...?

The Bold and The Beautiful: Season 1. Episode 6 (1987)
This episode is probably my favorite so far. I had waaay too many notes on this episode- since it was packed with information.
Starting with the Logan family- we can see Brooke and Dave arguing, as Dave questions if she wants to go though with the plan. He tells her to think about it tonight, and tell him the following day. He also sits her down to discuss marriage, to which he asks her to think about, as well. As he begins to call someone to drive her home- she kisses him and tells him that she loves him. After she goes home, Storm enters the station and speaks to his sister’s boyfriend. He doesn’t want her to have any part in catching the rapists, as he wants to protect her. Dave doesn’t want her getting hurt, either, but says it’s the fastest way to catch the criminals. It ends with Storm storming (get it?) out of the station, and leaving Dave to slam his door.
Meanwhile, with the Bill Spencer and Margo, we learn that Margo often talks badly about Ridge Forrester. Bill has only ever heard bad things about the man from her. When he confronts her about it, saying he doesn’t seem like a bad man, and neither do his parents, she immediately gets defensive. We later learn that she once had an intimate relationship with Ridge, but he most likely left her for another woman, and she worries he’ll do the same to Caroline. Oh, and did I mention that Bill Spencer hired a private investigator to spy on Ridge? Yeah, that happened!
Lastly, we have the Forresters and Caroline. Stephanie and Eric share a brief scene where they remember their marriage before it was in ruins- and Eric asks Stephanie if she wants it back- to which she doesn’t respond. Eric asks his son, Ridge, if he’s ready for marriage, as he’s worried how he’ll treat Caroline. Ridge defends himself, and then BAM- Caroline walks in. Eric shows his future daughter-in-law a design for a wedding dress, which she happens to love. But, We can see Ridge start to contemplate the engagement.
Overall, this episode was amazing. We got answers- and now we have questions. Also- Eric Forrester is one of the best characters in the show. Thorne, Storm, Eric, and Stephanie are just- ugh, I love them all.

The Bold and The Beautiful: Season 1, Episode 4 (1987)
Where do I even begin? This episode is kind of filler- but it’s important filler for what’s to come in the next few episodes.
First off, let’s start with the Logan family. We (finally) learn the ages of all the siblings! Katie is 16, Donna is 18, Brooke is 21, and Storm is 23. Their mother, Beth, is a cater, and wasn’t home until after midnight. She’s heavily concerned about her daughter, Hope, but Storm reassures her that he’s taking care of it. Then, we can see Dave and Brooke walking side by side- and that’s where things get interesting. Dave, her police Officer boyfriend, suggests that they use her as bait to find the rapists. Although Brooke hesistates, she ultimately agrees to his plan. It’s also revealed that she’s had nightmares about the traumatizing event.
In another scene, we see the Forrester family. Eric is clearly happy for his son- Though Margo would never have guessed that Ridge would be getting married, and she’s ultimately hurt, and calls Bill once Eric leaves. Bill reveals that he already knew, and leaves Margo shocked while he tries to convince his daughter, Caroline, not to marry Ridge Forrester. He forbids it- but she puts her foot down, saying that she will marry Ridge, even if he doesn’t approve.
Finally, Thorne confronts his brother, Ridge, politely, about his engagement to Caroline Spencer. We learn that Ridge is only really marrying her for two reasons. One- to charm her into his bed during their honeymoon, and Two- to “spite her father”. This shows that although Caroline does love him, he most likely doesn’t return her feelings and only wants to “spite her father”.

The Bold and The Beautiful: Season 1, Episode 3 (1987)
Where do I even begin? This episode introduced us to a new character- The Logan family mother!
In this episode, Caroline Spencer and Ridge Forrester are on their way to tell Caroline’s dad, Bill Spencer, that they’re engaged. He offers to stop somewhere to... “make it official”, to which she declines, saying that it’s only “two weeks from Friday”. Upon arrival, Caroline goes in first to prepare her dad. They have an odd relationship, to be honest. Kinda made me feel uncomfortable watching them interact. Nonetheless, Ridge clearly enjoys rubbing their engagement in her father’s face. To say the least- Bill Sr. Is not exactly a happy soon to be father-in-law.
Meanwhile, with the Logans, their mother prepares dinner. Katie arrives home, and we learn that she takes medication for her skin, most likely. We also meet Donna Logan, who was only mentioned until this episode. The mother comments on Brooke’s bruise- to which Brooke tries to differ the conversation away. Eventually, the mother leaves for her catering job. Then, Brooke sits Katie and Donna down to discuss what happened to her. After explain what happened that night, she tells them what they should do when they’re walking alone- and suggests to always walk with someone. You can tell she’s clearly upset by the events that happened- and who wouldn’t be? What she went through is traumatic.
Finally, we see Thorne and Stephanie speaking with each other. I didn’t get much from the conversation- but it felt odd and out of place.
That’s all for today! Hope you enjoyed my little synopsis. I enjoyed this episode- I like the feel I get when I watch it. Though I’ll probably have nightmares.

The Bold and The Beautiful: Season 1, Episode 2 (1987)
At first, I thought this was filler episode. But, I was proven wrong. We’re given vital information about multiple characters and are introduced to a third and fourth storyline.
Obviously, we have Ridge (and Caroline), who are ready to announce their engagement- starting with Ridge’s parents, Stephanie and Eric Forester, who are in the midst of arguing when their son walks in. They’re engagement takes Stephanie and Eric by surprise- and are ultimately shocked, but go along with it. This episode ends with Ridge saying that he can’t wait to tell the news to Caroline’s father, Bill Spencer.
The second storyline involves the Logan’s: Brooke, Storm, Katie, and Donna (with appearances by Dave, Brooke’s boyfriend). So far, I’m loving Brooke’s storyline. After her near rape- she involves her boyfriend, Dave, who works with the police. In this episode, Katie informs Storm, their older brother, what Brooke’s current state is: Shocked, confused, and scared. Storm confronts his sister about it when she arrives with her boyfriend- who explains the whole situation.
Next, we have the third- and new storyline involving Bill Spencer and Margo. The two more then likely have some romantic attachment to each other- maybe I missed something? I swear if I missed the fact that they’re related... please let me know. It’s 2:58 AM- and I can’t, for the life of me, had research right now. Anyway, Eric has flirted (subtly) with Margo throughout the episode- and she informs Bill. That’s all I really picked up- and that Margo and Ridge had some... intercourse.
The fourth and final storyline involves Eric and Stephanie Forrester- who’s storyline overlaps heavily in this episode with Ridge Forrester, their son, and Caroline Spencer, their future daughter-in-law. Eric questions his wife about their marriage- and she asks if Margo is the “other woman”, to which he denies. But, let’s face it- she’s one of the reasons he’s questioning their relationship. Their “talk” (argument) is interrupted by their son and future daughter-in-law, who announce their engagement with a bottle of champagne. Ultimately, the Forresters are shocked at the announcement, as Caroline and Ridge haven’t dated for a long period of time- but they accept her into the family.
Overall, I think the newer episodes are more dramatic- almost over dramatic- but, they’re soap operas. These episodes feel real- and I kinda like it. They’re staying grounded.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Season 1, Episode 1 (1987)
When the episode began, we’re met with a man who has a really amazing hairstyle. We’ll later find out that this is Ridge Forrester. Throughout the episode- I didn’t really think much of him. He wanted to add more sex appeal into the designs, refuses to break up with his girlfriend, Caroline Spencer, due to her father’s, Bill Spencer, worry that he’s a womanizer. He proves to be just that, and can be seen stroking a woman’s cheek. Hey, buddy, that’s not Caroline- that’s a random model. At the end of the episode, he can be seen trying to persuade Caroline to sleep with him- and when he turns him down, saying that she’s waiting to get married to a man before having intercourse with him- he suggests that they get married. I took this as him pressuring her into practically everything, but it’s up to you to decide what you think. I do believe that they hooked up- just seeing the way they were towards the end of the episode.
In the next storyline, we see Katie Logan, the fourteen year old sister of Brooke Logan. Brooke enters her home disheveled, her dress ripped- and she looks worried, shocked, and confused. I already began to assume what happened to her- and my suspicions were confirmed when the police officer, her boyfriend, came to her aide. She dismissed her sister, and told him everything. Two men had tried to rape her- turns out, they’ve tried and succeeded in raping other women before. Brooke hesitates going to the station to look at headshots to identify them- but ultimately agrees- saying that her sisters walk the same streets- and she wouldn’t want any harm to come to them. We can already see that Brooke cares about her siblings deeply.
The twenty minute show ends- and I’m blown away. The acting is surprisingly good- and believable. I’ve only ever seen the newer episodes with Hope, Liam, and Steffy- so seeing the first ever episode has me in awe. They have two main storylines- not five. So far, I’m really loving the show- and seeing the original pilot has me loving it even more.

Welcome!
Hello everyone! Welcome to my B&B blog. If you haven’t heard of The Bold and the Beautiful- let me give you a brief explanation without ruining the plot. The show is a soap opera that premiered in 1987. Yes- it’s still on. It’s about Forrester Creations, a fashion design company. That’s all I’m going to give away for now- since you’ll just have to watch it yourself.
Every day, I’ll watch at least one episode (starting with episode one) and give a slightly detailed review. Sadly, some of the episodes have been lost, and I won’t be able to watch them all. I’ll also be linking the video! Enjoy!
