One Of Us Is Lying

I brought this one at a book fair. TBH I wasn't sure about the age rating of this book, but then after I read it, I realised that it is AMAZING.

It's a book about murder (which is definitely my genre) And a mystery ( which is also my genre).

The plot of this book is sooooooo twisted that at a point u just have to close the book and stare at space.

I recommend it ti ofc murder mystery lovers but also to people who want to get out of a reading slump.

A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman

I have been missing for some days but, Man, I have a lot to say...

Firstly, this is not my usual genre (Murder/Suspense/Fantasy blah blah blah). This is more of a comfort read which gets you out of a reading slump.

It's like a sit-on-the-sofa-on-a-rainy-day-with- tea or coffee type of book. It's funny and heartwarming, like most of Mr. Backman's books.

There is also a recently released movie based on this book (A Man Called Otto) where Ove (or Otto) is played by Tom Hanks.

I recommend both the movie and the book (cuz for once the movie's accurate) And hope you like them...

Inferno by Dan Brown

This is a part of the Robert Langdon series (4th book) And it's the only one I own (rest i've read online) but it's brilliant.

It's the story of Robert Langdon and Dr. Sienna Brooks who involve in a deadly chase across Florence to find the secret of Dante's Inferno and a deadly virus.

I loved both this book and the whole series so I definitely recommend it to all the history lovers and also to the people who want to read something brain-burstingly intellectual.....

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson

A cousin told me about this book and I decided to read it a few months ago. It is a classic murder mystery with two timelines (1936 and 2018).

In this three novel series, Stephanie (Stevie) Bell investigates a murder which happened 82 years ago.

The murderer apparently has returned, leaving riddles as warnings ⚠️ (a snap of the 1936 one is attached) as to who is going to die.

Truly Devious, The Vanishing Stair and The Hand on the Wall, is an epic trilogy, which comes in both the category of YA and thrillers.

I definitely recommend this book trilogy to murder mystery lovers and also to people who read thrillers.

This book's dedication and the presence of a map will definitely make you want to read this series....

This heartwarming book is a masterpiece. It's the story of Mariam and Laila, who were victims of domestic violence and war hunger.

I definitely recommend it to the people who want to start Khaled Hosseini (actually this is the second book but you can read it before The Kite Runner).

I loved this book and I hope you do too.
