Happy #FridayEve 😁 It's almost the weekend. I'm seeing #Scream6 tonight. Furniture is being delivered. I'm doing a podcast this weekend with some guys I really admire and enjoy listening to. I don't have to go to a laundromat anymore (knocks on wood). The apartment is coming along. Justin brought me home this little Gnome the other day. I'm assuming it was for me since I'm the one with the ridiculous #Gnome collection. I thought he was cute and compact. PERFECT for my work space. You know, when you're packing up all the stuff you've accumulated over 14 years of living in one place you start to look at everything and ask yourself, "Why do I have all of this SHIT!?" Well, I don't have an answer to that question. But as I've been going through said shit, I've also been purging and trashing stuff that no longer gives me joy. Like I'm on an episode of that Marie Kondo show that disappeared. But not the gnomes. I really did think that I'd let a few of them go, but I can't. People have gifted me some over the years, or they've told me that they thought of me when they saw one while they were out and I'd get a picture of a Gnome and if I liked it enough I'd go buy it. So they really mean something to me. I really thought I'd be out of my Gnome phase by 42, but I guess I was wrong. They're staying with me. I'm keeping my babies. They're coming to our next destination in life. I hope they enjoy it. I really don't have a point to all of this. I hate packing and moving, and looking at some of this stuff while having to do this is making it very clear to me that I just really like my gnomes. And I have no idea why I even started collecting them to begin with. But hey, life's too short, so just order the Buffalo wings, right? #TBT to this past weekend when we took the kids out to @2ndandcharles & had a horrible experience @applebees 🙃 But being with the kids always makes things 10 times better.
