I know I've been non existent for a few months (college has been kicking my ass) but oh my god.

I did not have a Fairy tail 2 RPG on my list of expectations this year and I find out through an IGN article about Nintendo direct announcements.

AND THEY MODELLED ACNO. THEY MODELLED MY BOY.

My hopes for this-

More playable characters since it looks like those from the first one have been carried over so perhaps some more of the Fairy tail guild members or even some from other guilds. (Please give me Freed, Rufus or Cobra to play. That would be the best thing ever.)

It would also be cool if some of the non playable characters were modelled too. Especially since the Alveraz arc does involve most of the cast getting involved with things.

A possible mode that lets you use some of the villains. They've modeled most if not all of the springan alongside Zeref and Acno so it would be cool to try them out, maybe even let us play around with villains from the first one like Rogue or Mard Geer.

A variation to the trophies so they aren't almost completely identical to the first one for my trophy hunting heart. (Also make the platinum image that really pretty rainbow fairy tail guild mark again. It's so pretty)

As for other things, I wouldn't be too bothered if it doesn't get dubbed similar to the first game, especially since the English cast will probably be busy with dubbing 100 years quest but if it does get dubbed that would be cool.

Ok I'm honestly kinda hyped about the 100 year quest anime announcement.

Funnily enough I found out by going on a website when searching up the voice actor for a character in Persona 5 strikers because my friend mentioned the way they said joker sounded like Harley Quinn so I was looking it up and just at the bottom of my laptop screen I just see that 100 years quest anime was confirmed for July. Naturally I clicked on it and I was led to the trailer.

I've been waiting for this since it was announced to be in the making. I may not think of 100 years quest as my fav arc but I'm excited for a few things.

A. I finally get to hear a canon voice for Merciphobia let's go. I love this lovely water dragon.

B. I'm excited to see the dragons abilities in action. We never really saw that much of actual dragon powers in the series aside from Acno. Past him, in animation form the one we've seen the most is Igneel and the 7 dragons from the Dragon king festival (who half of them didn't even use actual magic they just used brute force such as Levia, Dark dragon and rock dragon)

C. As little as it is, I'm excited to see all the slayers return. I know that aside from Natsu and Wendy they don't appear as much but I will relish their screen time. Plus it's been a hot minute since I've seen Sting and Rogue on screen (I haven't rewatched KOTSH or GMG yet cause it's gonna be a bit till I get to those arcs in the au and I like to have the info fresh in my mind.) however it will not detur me from ADHD Rogue headcanon, that man forgets his keys or wallet all the time if they've been moved (I may or may not be slightly projecting my own issues but shush I'm allowed to if I want)

But this honestly made my day even though I found out at like 7-8pm. I'm also hoping this might actually give the fandom a pump of life again cause it feels no where near as active as it did when final season was coming out. Maybe it's just my Tumblr dash refusing to show me FT content even though I've liked over a 1000 posts at this point but I check some of the tags of my favs and don't see much. Fics are a different story thankfully. I'm following at least four good fics/series that are still active and thriving which I adore. It's mostly just Tumblr I think.

And that is the tenrou arc done. Chapters 73 to 81.

I'd say this is a decent improvement over the original. The fights are a lot more choreographed than just putting random stuff together and there's a more centered narritive this time. Plus I did Acno's first appearance justice this time around by actually watching the episode (I binged the entire arc so that also helped)

Whoooo, I finished the Tenrou arc.

Well I finished word vomiting the tenrou arc. Now I just gotta edit and add if need be. Thankfully my rough unedited versions are always at least somewhat coheirent.

The arc even ended up being longer than I expected at 46 pages.

I think I had a little bit too much fun with a couple chapters. Especially that last one.

Gonna aim to get the editing done tonight cause I really want to upload this so I can start working on the next arc but its already late and I have a tiny headache so no promises.

I finished up that sketch I did of these two in the Loser, baby poses. Gajeel is 1000% a theatre kid, convince me otherwise I dare you.

Freed gives Gajeel motivational speeches when he's feeling down and Gajeel just turns the moment into a musical scene.

Can you tell I'm set on them being hyrid besties? Cause they are. I can't wait to write more of them being silly bbies together.

Guess who's back to the Fairy tail phase again. And this time I merged it with Hazbin hotel. Can you guess which song is my fav? Its loser baby haha. And I heard the song and thought immediately about Gajeel just being a theatre kid and singing it to Freed. Really happy with how Gajeel turned out in the image, especially his face and back wing.

Ok so the rewrite of tenrou island might be a bit smaller than the original version simply because things are a lot more tight nit and cohesive than the spasm attack I had writing the original.

I'm 4 chapters in so far (Spat out 3 in 2 days) and I just passed Gajeel's single fight in this arc (I am forever salty he only got one fight. At least I got to see Freed actually do shit in more than 1 fight though unlike almost every future arc) and the tenrou arc is actually not as long as I thought it was in general. Its like maybe at most 30 eps which is far less than GMG onward which takes up more than two and a bit DVD boxes.

If I keep up my intense urge to finish the rewrite (which I'm close to since once I'm finished Tenrou I have three full arc that aren't that long and not even half of a fourth one and I'll be caught up with where I was story wise) then hopefully I'll have the tenrou arc done no longer than 2 weeks. (So long as I don't get given a huge amount of shifts or lots of college work in the meantime)

Guess who's back on their A game now. Whoa.

I know it took forever but I had to take a break to write something else then I got slogged with College work and both my jobs (My lecturers love to change the hand in dates of work randomly for no reason) and then I got preoccupied with finishing my tactician run on BG3 and working on Stardew valley. Then I had to rewrite this chapter a couple times because it just wasn't working for me.

But I got the opening chapter done so it should hopefully only be up from here.

I can't say how many chapters the entire Tenrou island arc is going to be since the arcs are all mushed together and so I've lost the concept of how long each arc will be but I'm hoping I'll have a bunch of chapters to work with for the arc after tenrou.

I missed the pole but my time has come.

Gajeel can actually bleed from being stabbed (at least in the anime) during his fight with the shadow guy in Phoenix priestess, he's literally stabbed from the inside by several blades.

Yes he walks it off like it's no big deal but he does still bleed.

I do think it also depends what he's being stabbed with.

Like if an enchantment was put on the weapon to prevent him from being able to eat or absorb the metal then it would likely do a lot of damage.

Blades made from his own metal would also do a lot of damage because dragon slayers can't eat or absorb their own magic. Which also sucks for Gajeel because he's the only one of the five slayers who can actually leave parts of his magic just lying around that could be used as weapons since he is the only one of the original 7 that has a physical element.

Its also kinda iffy to say his scales could protect him indefinitely when during his fight on Tenrou not only is he knocked out of his scales by the solid script magic coupled with the sword of his opponent but that sword also got stuck in his iron and caused it to break, likely because it couldn't properly form around the sword and that is still Gajeel's limb no matter how far he extends it. How that didn't at least cut him baffles me but pre and mid Tenrou island was notorious for the anime censoring stuff (No blood when Leon stabs Gray and replacing the spike with just an animal instead, replacing the knives that never even hit Lucy with Gajeel just beating her, ect)

It also brings up the question of A. What happens to any metal Gajeel leaves lying around (like his beams in Phantom) and b. If anyone ever thought to take that metal and put it to use. We know Gajeel can make basically anything out of his metal and that he can make it disconnected from his own body so making weapons or chains out of it isn't that far of a stretch.

There is also the question of what would happen if Gajeel and Metalicana just attempted to stab each other. Like could they eat each other's magic? Would it hurt?

So many questions we likely will never get actual answers for.

So uh when was I gonna be told that Loke has an attack that is similar in style to the dragon slayers roar that he uses only during the S-class trials when countering Wendy.

Like that would have been useful when he was helping fight the guards in the palace during GMG or when Lamia scale was being attacked by hordes of monsters.

Was it just forgotten that this happened? Probably. The amount of pieces of info that just get forgotten is immense.

So for some context, I needed a break from au writing (cause writing the same thing for nearly a whole year almost non stop is tiring) and ended up a bit caught up with college work (because my laptop and iPad both decided to gang up against me and delete my work randomly, sometimes while I'm literally working on that work)

But as consolidation, have a dumb doodle I did.

Yes, this is sorta a redraw from Loser, baby(Hasbin hotel) but Husk gives me Gajeel vibes and all I could think off upon relistening to the song was Gajeel emphasising his inner theatre nerd and singing to Freed. (They are chaotic BFFs your Honor and you can fight me on it)

After browsing through the Gajeel tag on Ao3, it feels like hardly anyone is writing Gajeel centric fics anymore.

Like about 20% or less of the fics I looked through were Gajeel centric, about 4 of them were non English so I don't actually know what the description says sadly, 2 of them were fics I already follow and am either up to date with or am working on catching up and most of them were ship fics.

And like I have nothing against ship fics, I love a good romance if it's done right and I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't when I'm writing a subplot romance for the au. But sometimes I want to read a no ship fic and Gajeel has so much good potential for a fic like that.

Doesn't help that I've kinda gotten more invested in Ft rare pairs than some of the more popular ships. (It's a mix of my own writing *cough Totomaru/Freed cough* and the excellent rare pair fics on Ao3 really) or that I've already read a lot of the Gajeel fics on Ao3.

More au Cobra drawings because he's fun to draw. Plus I couldn't pass on an opportunity to draw dragon force Cobra.

While I don't regret doing all the detail on his face cause it meant I got his eyes correct, I'm kinda sad no one's going to see the work I put in simply because of the composition of the piece. Oh well. I can admire it in my procreate files instead.

Another @fairytail-redraw of Cobra once again using my au design. Had a lot of fun with this one. And I 100% did every tiny detail on his face that will never be seen by anyone but me because of the shadowing

I've been thinking on this a lot but I started wondering on a what if Rustyrose actually joined crime sorciere.

Like Meredy talks to him after the seiz fight with him and he tags along for a bit if not permanently.

I dunno I just think it would be nice for Meredy to have someone else there that she actually knows from her prior guild. Like after Ultear dies, she has no one from grimoire. Jellal can at least somewhat relate with the seiz cause they all had the same background prior to him selling them and the seiz have each other to talk to but Meredy has no one who can relate or understand what she experienced. I just want Meredy to have a talking buddy (also show off her friendship with Juvia more. It's underrated in canon)

Ok so while this is part of my inktober pieces, it is also au relevant so I thought might as well put it here too. It's bby Rogue which also means a sneak peak to my Rogue design (this is younger Rogue. He looks a bit different when he's an adult) I also haven't drawn the Exceeds in years. I think the last time was one of my original exceed characters so drawing Frosch was a good practise.

Day 8 Toad. I had to do Bby Rogue with Frosch, a Toad and a toad/frog plush for this. Also this does have links to my FT au which is why the design has dragon features.

Ok I just started thinking about this because of a funny side plot that I have planned for the future but do you think Gajeel leaves DNA traces when he uses his magic?

Cause on one hand, it's metal but it's also still his body. Like the sword from Tenrou is in his arm when he morphs it back from a club. His arm still gets blood on it when it morphs back.

Like honestly both are pretty interesting. Like if it doesn't then literally he could just straight up deny that it was him because there's no proof of weapon or DNA samples. And if it does it could lead to good angst with the council coming for him.

Also don't ask what the side plot is because it's a secret till I get to it.
