Agenda 2030 is an agenda that the globalists, particularly those in the United Nations are currently pushing on the world’s population. Obviously, it’s supposed to reach it’s goals by 2030. I hear the concept of collective privilege discussed on this site constantly! It frustrates me because the amount of privilege you have is not determined by your race, gender, or sexuality, every demographic has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Each of those demographics has issues that affect them more than others. But overall the amount of privilege you have is almost entirely determined by the circumstances in which you were born and how you choose to deal with them. In First World countries, you can start off at the bottom of society and work your way to the top. There are circumstances in your life that you can’t control, that’s true… But spending your whole life being bitter about it and talking about how the grass is greener on the other side, is not going to do anything but make you hate everyone whom you think has it better. Your life is never going to change if all you do is sit around talking about how everything is unfair. The only way to improve your quality of life is to get off your butt and go do something about it. All anyone is doing by telling everyone else how privileged they are is dividing everyone further! You honestly have no right to tell somebody that they are privileged over you when you have no idea what’s going on in their life. Instead of telling other people how their lives are better than yours, go do something about yours.

The irony of nihilism

is that the sentiment that ‘nothing means anything’ and ‘there is no purpose’.... means absolutely nothing and has no purpose, but it’s made out to mean so much for the nihilist. That’s an odd thing for a nihilist to do. Makes about as much sense as any other person who gives meaning to a meaningless universe, which is impossible to stop doing. You are constantly giving life to purpose, and constantly giving purpose to life. Perhaps this is for us to stay alive, or for us to create aliveness, or both. You author both your own purpose and your own life, mothering them, defending them against all neighsayers and percieved threats. Before you’re aware of this, it happens automatically, even to a nihilist. If you don’t believe me, just see how they respond when you tell them they have a purpose and value. If they respond, it’s because they have purpose and value.

you are not a group of people, you’re just one person with your own views. You don’t represent everyone from a demographic, you don’t think what all of them think. Being born a certain way doesn’t determine your interests, views, or values. You can’t speak for a demographic, and to try is to only speak over them.

You can source one hundred thousand sources but if they come from biased sites, they’re worthless. You sourced an apologetics site? Nope. You sourced a feminist site? Nope. You sourced a MGTOW site? Nope. So that begs the questions, what site is acceptable? The answer is none of them, the only sources that you can actually inspect are studies. Studies you can look at the methods and what not. Articles, lectures, books, etc… can all be simply lists of assertions. Large news companies have agendas and bribes. Don’t take ANYTHING at face value.

Fallacy of Compisition

The fallacy of composition is when you take a property that applies to every part of a whole and attribute it to the whole. Depending on the property, this line of reasoning is NOT ALWAYS A FALLACY

e.g.

If

A. Water is made of Oxygen and Hydrogen

B. Hydrogen and Oxygen are gaseous at room temperature 

So 

C. Water is Gaseous at room temperature.

This is demonstrably false. However if you look at carbon dioxide it and its parts are all gaseous at room temperature.

Fallacist’s Fallacy

The Fallacist’s Fallacy is when you dismiss an entire idea because someone used fallacious reasoning in support of that idea.

e.g.

“Because [enter communist here] used an appeal to authority to defend communism, therefore communism is wrong”

Please note that you can dismiss specific arguments that are fallacious, this is simply saying that you can’t dismiss a stance because the arguments used to support it are fallacious.

Bandwagon Fallacy

This fallacy is an appeal to the growth of an idea. 

e.g.

A. [insert username related to the female reproductive system] “More people believe in pro choice than ever

Therefore

B. Pro choice is the correct stance”

This claim relies on trends. Remember the Harambe meme? Just because it grew quickly doesn’t mean it was good.

Ad Hominem

So I’m going to be going through the main logical fallacies just so people are aware of what they are. The first is the most widely known, ad hominem. An ad hominem is a personal attack being used in place of an argument.

E.G.

A. [insert user name]: “Racism is not power related”

B. [insert different user name]: “well you’re white, so you’re wrong.”

Notice there was no actual evidence provided, just an attack on the person presenting the point.

The same arguments... over... and over... and over... and over again...

My fellow denizens of this bizarre website,

Aren’t you tired of fighting the same fights constantly and there never being any conclusion? The debates over guns, abortion, taxes, lgbt rights, feminism, men’s rights, economic or governmental systems, blm, racism, sexism, tokenism, and social justice never end. Have you ever considered why that might be? Of course you have. Who hasn’t?

The conclusion many have arrived at is simply, the other side is stupid, homophobic, racist, xenophobic, scum, evil, selfish, crazy, etc... Always laying the blame of disagreement and vitriol on the other side, no introspection at all. I arrived at the same conclusion when I was a Christian, I assumed that all non Christians were just slaves to Satan and their sin. 

My conclusion now is vastly different. The only way that we can reach understanding, agreement, and/or truth would be through openness and honesty. In a debate think about these filters

1. Is it true/honest?

2. Is it relevant?

3. Is it fallacious?

4. (If it’s a source) Is it reliable?

if the answer to each of these filters is no, then proceed to make your point. Then when provided with a rebuttal, apply the same filters and if the rebuttal passes the test, take some time to consider it.

HOWEVER, THERE IS A HUGE FLAW IN THIS APPROACH.

Both sides must be willing to do this, if one side refuses, this method falls apart. My advice in that scenario? Disengage. Do not waste your time arguing with those that will not listen.
