I feel like I should try an go a little bit more in depth about her character on here.

What’s up with all the grayscale ?

Fun fact: Her character design started because I was practicing grayscale.

Made this a part of her lore. She views the world as gray and lifeless because she is so twisted that she can’t find beauty in the world around her.

Not all the details are straightened out yet but her name is Elvira.

The whole concept that I came up with is that she consumes people to gain their qualities/traits. She’s an extremely jealous person and often sees people only for their achievements rather than seeing them as a whole. Her ideology is very hypocritical. Only seeing things on a surface level and never acknowledging what her victims had to do to in order to reach their goals.

Instead of minding her business and honing her own skills she’s too busy making up lies. Talking to her is like talking to a stone wall; There will always be an excuse.

When she eats others it has this euphoric effect on her and she’s able to gain their qualities. Which isn’t true at all,, she’s just a crazy bitch.

Therapy Time ?

I created Elvira to pour all of my negative emotions into one being. Everything that I didn’t want to become. OBVIOUSLY I DO NOT WANNA EAT PEOPLE FR, ITS JUST A METAPHOR.

This was all pretty therapeutic for me actually. I’d recommend trying it out. Made me open my eyes to some problems I didn’t know I had. Focusing on this has actually helped me improve my digital art. For it to work you REALLY have to push the narrative.

It’s like when your a kid and you just cry to cry but then someone comes along an copies your whining/crying obnoxiously. Then you get embarrassed and stop.

It sounds bad written out but I feel like this can take you out of the “ohh poor me I’ll never get better” headspace.

Draft title cards

Before all this tho,, im thinking about creating a website or an online portfolio.

Reddit has me questioning the terms and conditions of the contract on Webtoon. I’d really like to keep all of my rights when it comes to my work.

It’d also be nice because I know a lot of people are tiered of webtoon because of all the adds an paywalls. The website would be for readers to read my stuff without the hassle.

If anyone has any helpful videos for coding a website,, let me know. I’m not tryna to pay for a pre built one…
