hello everyone! this piece is one of my final projects from last semester in my perspective class. i’ve recently developed a fondness for chickens since my family got some, so i wanted to create an illustration that includes them. this piece is also very nostalgic for me, as i grew up in the countryside surrounded by farmhouses. i hope you like it and are excited to see more of my work!

presenting my latest pattern design, “hoppy memories.” with a heavy heart, i share the passing of my beloved white tree frog, ding dong. in his honor, i created this pattern to celebrate our shared joyful moments and help me navigate my grief. he was a playful companion and truly deserves to be remembered beautifully <3

i’ve been delighted to see the gravity falls fandom so active lately! as a long-time fan, i couldn't resist joining in and creating some fan art. i’m looking forward to getting the book of bill so i can read it. it was really enjoyable to draw bill again after a couple of years, and it felt like i was reconnecting with my childhood self while working on this piece. it was a very nostalgic experience!

“the mishap muse.”

i wanted to participate in the current trend of drawing miku with a side ponytail. i find it amazing how artists have turned a potentially distressing event - the loss of a pigtail from a miku figure - into an enjoyable art trend. here is my take on it. i hope you like it!

“galactic gaze.”

i am pleased to present this artwork to the talented cosmictravelers_official, who graciously invited me to serve as their guest artist!

cosmictravelers_official is an independent animation studio that is in the process of launching the series "cosmic travelers," which is set in a well-established science fiction universe featuring a compelling narrative and captivating characters. the subject of my illustration is aria, a particular favorite of mine. i highly recommend visiting their website and viewing the trailer for this upcoming series!

“cinnamon sippin’ chai.”

i created this delightful still life as a way to practice using the fantastic new oil paint brushes i recently purchased from artworkbygabrielle on etsy! these brushes were an absolute pleasure to work with, and i wholeheartedly recommend them. in this composition, i chose to showcase my new 2005 coffee furby, which i received as a birthday gift, alongside a delicious iced chai from café 19.

this is the first piece i created to kick off my summer break. i felt inspired to draw everyone's favorite lazy egg, gudetama!

"pride fish.”

2023. gouache on watercolor paper. 12 in. x 9 in.

happy pride! this is the first piece i have ever made using gouache, and i think it turned out well. i put a spin on clownfish by making them into actual clowns. to correlate with the rainbow fish in the middle, i made all the other fish in as many pride flag colors as possible. this piece was featured in issue 20 of botticelli magazine and was a part of chroma, an art exhibition at my college, for which I am super happy and grateful.

"unconventional" is a representation of the unique aspects of my personality and interests that may appear unconventional or odd to others. this piece is meant to emphasize and showcase the diverse elements that contribute to shaping my identity and individuality. "unconventional" serves as a celebration of my authenticity and the things that make me who i am.

i created this piece for my watercolor class! i had so much fun collaging and incorporating the many things that i love. the second slide features my work in a pop-up art exhibition hosted by my professor. our whole class had the chance to showcase a piece of our work from the class, and this is the one i chose!
