most of these are at least 3+ years old and have only ever been seen by my classmates/course mates when i was in college (and the fuckin degree didnt give me a job anyway so whatever, i dont think i'll ever be able to make art my job so i'll at least make it my biggest hobby)

(the dead santa was a mockup for a christmas card in our last art year...it did not win. i think if i remember correctly, a design with a girl on a swing won. NOT CHRISTMAS THEMED if i might add. still salty about this cus i later found out the teacher who chose the final designs "wasnt a fan of dali" (ME NEITHER????? THATS WHY I WAS POKING FUN AT HIM??????????) arghhhgh the rage is pouring down my skin

actually, heres the old king and hermes ref sheets, for archives sake. King used to have high-eyes all the time but i changed it to the same color as their hairs, since then it'd be hard to display when theyre actually wasted in the comics lol and believe me, this lil creature is gonna be blazin it up like craaaaazyyyyy

i do really hope to continue the Star lane comic one day as the story is simple but effective and the few plottwists i have there are my favorite flavor

"made" them for an assignment back when i was doing character studies, so heres the whole process of how i go about designing some chars (most of the time i dont go this much into detail, i just make silly doodles and expand on the ones i like the most... but i do a lot of pose sketches and movement/turn doodles to understand the characters shape since making comics requires drawing the same character over and over)
