where have we been?

hello!! i wanted to post to keep you guys updated on where we’ve been!

nothing crazy, just been kind of off tumblr recently. we haven’t been able to use our laptop because it’s broken, so flags will be out of commission for a little while until i can get our laptop fixed.

Was going thru your list of roles, and caught the one calfkid. Was wondering if that could also be for littles that hold trauma regarding someone else having cancer, and not just the body, or if I'm misunderstanding it

it's just a little with trauma related to cancer. whether its the body having it or someone else you know having it, or cancer treatment or whatever. any trauma thats cancer related.

Hi!! Can you make a flag for the term system nurse - Facet who takes care of the system while the body is sick/ill? I’m not sure if any other system has used/coined this term before ^_^

hey, sorry. just wanted to let you know that somebody has already coined the term nurse. it has a flag already, too! NURSE: An alter that cares for the bodies health in hopes of preventing sickness, pain, or similar. (coined by @disrealities on june 13, 2024)

Is there a role or term for a member in a DID system who gives newer alters/splits a run-down of things and shows them around?

there wasnt one that i could find, though i swear i had one.

INTRODUCER

An introducer is an alter who may introduce a new alter to the system, give new alters a rundown of the system and/or the system's life, the body's identity, whereabouts the body is, etc. Basically someone who helps out new alters.

Could we request a role for an alter who fronts to; exercise, help with physical pain tolerance, and/or assists in lessening the impact of physical exertion? Thank you!

we already have roles for all of these! JOCK: A jock is an alter who partakes in only one specific activity, however, it's usually exercise of some sort. Druids and bards technically fit the description of jock, but again, jock usually refers to an alter who specifically does exercise related activities. CHAMOMILE: A chamomile alter is an alter who soothes and/or relaxes the body. This could be to relax muscles to avoid (further) injury, and can often occur in physically disabled systems, but is not limited to physically disabled systems. and if chamomile doesnt fit, we personally just use the term "pain manager" or whatever. we dont know where or when it was coined or by who but we use that.

Maybe a silly question but we wanna be sure!! We make little like decor stamps [like digital ones kinda] sometimes and were wondering if you were okay with us also adding your flags there? It's alright if not but we'd rather be sure ^^

(C#NT) SERVER

A server is an alter who just gives c#nty vibes if that makes sense. Their role in the server is to be confident, and maybe flirty. They may also deal with romance and/or sexuality in some way. A server is a pretty vague system role, but if it resonates, use it.

we act as one and my headmates are like "modifiers" for me and how i act. is there a term you can think of that might describe that? i've looked and looked but can't really find anything !

MODIFIED SYSTEM

A modified system is a system whose alters are like modifiers to the main host and change the way said host acts instead of seeming fully separate.

CURVEBALL

A curveball alter is an alter who is rude with good intention. For example, lying to you about the danger of something to get you to do it because it would make your life easier, or being rude about something to stray someone away from doing something dangerous (if that makes sense.)

An alter that admits feelings the system has about things (e.g "this makes us feel sad" , "we have a crush on you" , "you made us angry", ect) when the rest of the system struggle to do so

An admitter is an alter who admits things to people that the rest of the system finds hard to do. This can be a subset of extrocommunicator or proxy.

MORE VOISIC TERMS

Linguist Voisic - An alter (who is most often a linguist but doesn't have mto be) that only speaks a language that the body is learning/not the body's first/native language

Mask Voisic - An alter who can force themself to speak to mask, but may be Non-voisic (or Semi, Hemi, Voisicflux, Choice Voisic, etc.)
