In the time since I’ve done much of anything other than lurk on this site, I have:

Finished the first draft of my novel (allegedly I’ll start editing soon)

Publicly come out as bi

Completed Baldur’s Gate 3 three separate times (I am the undisputed #1 Galemancer)

Moved out of my parents house and into a place with my partner(!!)

Gotten cats(!!!)

Shaved my head and grown my hair back to the length it was when I did that

Quit 2 jobs

Gone away to Massachusetts to proFESSIONALLY RECORD AN EP?! (Stream the single here if you wanna :)!!!)

Run a crowdfunding campaign to pay for said EP

And probably a bunch of other stuff I am neglecting to mention. Wow. So where do I go from here?

Well, my fandoms and my mutuals always hold a very special place in my heart and I think often of them. The aforementioned jobs that I quit really sucked a lot of joy and creativity from my life, and I’m moving into a new season where I am finally able to set up my life in a way that allows me to enjoy just being, even if I’m not off living my dreams just yet! I’ve been stirring with ideas for some fics again recently, and I have been finding myself lurking more recently and wishing I was more active on here!!

This has always been my safe space to retreat to while the rest of the world goes on around me, and I love engaging with this strange little community!!

many problems are caused by the mindset that the world is divided into good people and bad people and the bad people can be "found out" and removed, eventually leading to a utopia containing only good people.

Getting a weird little hobby is actually so important bc it opens your eyes up to the world. You start crocheting or knitting, and how you see scarves and sweaters differently. You try identifying plants, now you’re seeing opposite and alternate leaf pattern. Bird watching? Every chirp draws attention and interest.
