“The Spy Who Loved”
A snake in black, a heart in chains,
A silent man with countless pains.
To walk between the light and dark,
And hide within a fractured heart.
For Lily’s eyes, the same he spurns,
He sacrifices, yet never earns.
To live a life of shadowed lies,
And die for love that never dies.
Though cruel his words, his actions cold,
His truest story stays untold.
For underneath that icy gaze,
Was love that burned, a secret blaze.
In the end, when truth unfolds,
A silent hero, brave and bold.
His love, his life, his final plea:
“For her, for him, remember me.”

Correct me if I'm wrong but Severus Snape was an abused, vulnerable child who was harassed by the 'good guys' for a large part of his life and joined the Death Eaters likely because there was nowhere else for him to go. He turned away from the dark and back to the light because of his love for his dead friend/almost sister, but that doesn't make his sacrifice any less heroic, does it? I mean he was a 20(?) year old who basically sold the rest of his life away in devotion to the light side.
Regulus Black was a kid from a rich, aristocratic blood purist family who was proud and happy to join up with the death eaters at 16. He was a misguided child, yes, but he went through with it happily when he had different options (going with Sirius) and probably did a whole lot worse than call someone a mudblood. I'm pretty sure he had a whole fangirl poster of Voldemort in his room or something, but I may be misremembering that. The only reason he betrayed Voldemort was because Voldemort hurt his house elf, and when it comes down to it, he died a pretty worthless death. His heart was most definitely in the right place and he did what he could, but there were... smarter ways to go about things, to say the least. In canon, this is more or less all we know about him. He was loved and adored by his parents, and for all we know, he never changed his views on muggleborns and muggles.
Why is one of them creepy and obsessive and weird for their love, while the other one is a 'soft baby' who is adored by Marauder stans?

Lily is a shitty friend because she refused to be friends with a guy who was a fucken racist to everyone but her? Would you defend a white person who liked one black girl but called every other black person a racial slur? Snape was a shitty character. The only people who can sympathize with him are those that have the same hatred within their hearts and can justify his actions. He was a horrible friend that got his ex best friend and husband killed, and bullied children because he was piece of 💩
Erm actually 🤓☝
Lily is a shitty friend because she refused to be friends with a guy who was a fucken racist to everyone but her?
She actually was a shitty friend because she smiled at her best friend being exposed
But too late; Snape had directed his wand straight at James; there was a flash of light and a gash appeared on the side of James’s face, spattering his robes with blood. James whirled about; a second flash of light later, Snape was hanging upside down in the air, his robes falling over his head to reveal skinny, pallid legs and a pair of graying underpants. Many people in the small crowd watching cheered. Sirius, James, and Wormtail roared with laughter. Lily, whose furious expression had twitched for an instant as though she was going to smile, said, “Let him down!”
Excused his bullies' behaviour
“I’m just trying to show you they’re not as wonderful as everyone seems to think they are.” The intensity of his gaze made her blush. “They don’t use Dark Magic, though.” She dropped her voice. “And you’re being really ungrateful. I heard what happened the other night. You went sneaking down that tunnel by the Whomping Willow, and James Potter saved you from whatever’s down there—”
And ended up with his bully in the end, don't tell me "She didn't owe him anything", anyone who had a friend who was bullied will tell you that they wouldn't date their ex-best friend's bully. She had the right to leave Severus, I am not against it, but she had a part in the breaking up but as always didn't take responsibility of it (she actually does it a lot somehow).
Would you defend a white person who liked one black girl but called every other black person a racial slur?
No, because that's not the case here. Here is a mixed-race boy, who has been put into a white neighbourhood, there the white people are pretty nice to him but will be mean to black people, they tell him to join them. He knows that his best friend is black but since other black people were mean to him (his father and his best friend's sister), he doesn't see anything wrong with it. Know the difference (not that I excuse racism but here is a different case than the one you're pointing out).
The only people who can sympathize with him are those that have the same hatred within their hearts and can justify his actions.
Liking a character doesn't mean you support what he does, I love Bellatrix and Lucius, but I do not support their pureblood supremacy views and think they have no redeeming qualities whatsoever, I like them because I like villains. No one justify his actions, they explain his reasons, is it justifying? No, because it's not right, but why liking a complex character if you don't understand his complexity?
He was a horrible friend that got his ex best friend and husband killed
Actually, their whole friendship was toxic, Lily wasn't an angel, Severus wasn't a demon, they both were human and had their flaws. Stop pointing to Severus and ignore Lily's faults. Do I really have to go back on the "Severus got Jily killed!!1!1!"?? Many other people explained this part already, go see their blogs instead.
and bullied children because he was piece of 💩
He actually bullied children because he wasn't totally right mentally, and he mostly is just blunt with kids because yeah Potions is extra dangerous and if you fuck one single thing up you could blow the whole ass school. Does it make his insults right? No. Does it make his temper more understandable? Yeah.
Thanks for that ask, it was my first snater ask, I'm so happy I'll frame it in my room <3

I mean...
An actual conversation I just had with my friend:
“I can fix him.” (Talking about Severus Snape)
“Girl, no you can’t.”
“I can.”
“No you can’t.”
“YES I CAN.”
“He called Harry’s mum a slur, committed war crimes, verbally abused kids who weren’t around when Lilly Potter rejected him, and then freaking died. You absolutely cannot fix him.”

Hi! for the patronus analysis: slytherin and hyena
Hyenas, by and large, have a pretty nasty reputation (not unlike Slytherins, really). Many associate the species with scavenging, gluttony, uncleanliness, and cowardice, and popular films like The Lion King haven’t exactly challenged this depiction. Another interesting piece of symbolism given to hyenas, however, is the melding of masculine and feminine. In ancient times hyenas were mistakenly thought to be hermaphrodites – in Ovid’s Metamorphosis, hyenas are even depicted as being able to transform from male to female and back again. Some of this is due to biology, as female spotted hyenas have an enlarged clitoris that ancient scholars mistook for a small penis, but some of this may also be due to the fact that hyena packs are led by females, not males, which would’ve contradicted the so-called “normal” gender roles exhibited by humans and many other animals.
Having a Hyena as your Patronus means that you find comfort in nonconformity. You are not someone who does something just because “that’s how it’s always been.” Slytherins already tend to have a certain disregard for the rules, but you take that disregard and run with it. No one tells you what you should or shouldn’t do, and if anyone tries, well, their griping will fall on deaf ears. You are the sort to both join a dojo and take a cooking class – to wear leather and lace – to punch your worst enemy in the face with one hand and help another person to his feet with the other. You are both strong and weak – gentle and ruthless – cool as a cucumber and hot as a tamale. Should you ever find yourself cornered and shut away, forced to hide yourself from the world, your guardian will burst from your wand with a large barking laugh, for it is completely unafraid of fences or wagging fingers. Its laughter will course through your veins, making your heart bubble up with strength, and soon you’ll be laughing too as you take down your enemies with a flick of your wand.
