Hihihihi! So uuh, my wig for Abel wig is coming in soon and I was thinking if starting an Abel Ask blog, would that be a bad idea?

//aww, no, ask blogs are super fun!! This is my second one, the first having been back in like 2013, a Molly Hooper blog.

Honestly starting them were some great decisions on my part lol….I made my first close internet friends on my Molly blog, was able to go to my first convention to meet them, and ultimately figured out my gender & sexuality bc of them so !!! And we’re still friends today.

And because I cosplayed Cain on here, I got to know my own lovely Abel better and now we’re best friends <333 so looking at my track record, I’d say ask blogs are pretty great fuckin ideas!

here are some tips below the cut if you’d like!

Reach out to other blogs in the fandom, particularly active ones. (*cough* yikes i have not been *cough*) Send people asks and sign it with your ask blog username, or reblog their stuff with your own additions that invite responses. If somebody seems open to it, sometimes even planning a little story together in advance to rp back and forth can be fun!

TAG TAG TAG. find relevant tags people in the fandom use & use em!

Those ask box memes can be cool if you find some relevant ones, and it helps people who might be having trouble coming up with questions.

Don’t be discouraged in the early days if no one asks you anything, it can take a while. Just keep making your own opening posts & have fun! ;)

hAHA you know why this blog has been getting no notes???? i just realized after like weeks of getting average 0-2 notes on posts i worked hard on that it’s not just because my content is shitty!

so please, for the sake of creator blogs, please turn “best stuff first” off under your global settings -> dashboard preferences if possible and/or reblog their content! tiny baby blogs like mine will thank you a ton for it!
