I just love when I've finally started to put trust in my fellow humans again and then a coworker steals my iPad charger.

After all this time you never stopped to think I would be the one to break you?
I could never be so foolish as to think you wouldn't harm me. My undoing was ignoring my instincts and choosing to love you anyway.

I don't think about you everyday anymore
And that's probably a good thing
It doesn't mean I love you any less
In fact, I think I love you more
"Absense makes the heart grow stronger"
Well you've been gone a long time now
And I miss you

Hermione: Do you know what bees make?
Ron: Honey?
Hermione: Yes dear?
[Harry turns to Draco]
Harry: Draco, do you know what bees make?
Draco: Some stupid annoying sound, what the fuck do you want.

Draco, eating breakfast: Oh, hello again. We really need to stop meeting like this.
Harry, who walked out of his bedroom in his house into his kitchen: Maybe we would, if you would STOP BREAKING INTO MY FUCKING HOUSE

I wonder if
When leaves fall to the ground
Do they wish they had stayed
In the branches of their mother?
Do they long for the sky
For the wind?
When finally settled
On the unforgiving ground
Do they sigh in relief
Or weep
Because it is finally over?
And when the boot of a wanderer
Crushes their dying, drying veins
Against the pavement they lay upon
Do they cry out
"Mother save me"
Or simply release their dying breath
With a satisfying
Crunch?
Do they relish in the joy
They bring to the children
Playing in the mountains
Of their cousins' corpses?
Or do they wish their sentience
Their sentiments
Were ended?
Oh, to be a leaf on the wind.

"You said now, you said always."
You said.
"Just when I had everything under control.
Just when I had made up my mind."
You.
Said.
"And I fucking believed you. Like a goddamn fool. And you know what? I'd do it all again. For the chance to see you happy, I'd do all of it. Every last laugh, and kiss, and every mind-bending, soul-crushing agony just to be with you again. How could you ever think I wouldn't want you?"
Remus put down the glass he'd been holding on the scratched surface of the kitchen table, no longer as full as it had been due to his trembling hands.
"You don't get to choose this for me, Pads." His voice broke on the name. That gods-damned nickname that always reminded him of James. "How can you just stand there, while people are dying? While our friends are dying? How could you do this to me?"
The betrayal in Remus' voice made Sirius look away, towards the mantle, with the empty picture frames, the first clue that had had Remus questioning.
Slowly, quietly, he spoke. "I did it for you. I don't expect you to understand, and I don't expect you to trust me after what I did. But-" Sirius shook his head as if trying to dislodge loose cobwebs from the corners of his mind. He looked back to Remus, eyes shining, seeming almost as he had as a boy. "I thought I had lost you, Moony."
Remus closed his eyes at the sound of his nickname, and a tear escaped from under his lashes.
"Well it doesn't matter now does it? Because now you have."
"Remus, wait-"
But Remus had already opened the door, walked onto the landing of their cozy little apartment, and disapparated.

I think perfectionism is based on the obsessive belief that if you run carefully enough, hitting each stepping-stone just right, you won't have to die. The truth is that you will die anyway and that a lot of people who aren't even looking at their feet are going to do a whole lot better than you, and have a lot more fun while they're doing it.

A friendly reminder that you don't have to wait for any person to bring flowers for you. You don't have to wait for any person to go on a trip. You don't have to wait for any person to record your everyday life. You should give flowers to yourself, you should cherish yourself, you should go to your favorite restaurant and eat your favorite pasta by yourself, you should go to different trips all alone, you should wear beautiful dresses without any special occasions.

Life keeps me down enough
That I've stopped looking up
And started admiring
The beauty of the ground
