TGED x Reader - How They React If You're Hurt On Their Watch

Characters: Lloyd Frontera, Javier Asrahan, Alicia Magentano

Lloyd Frontera

What Lloyd wants the most is to see his loved ones happy and safe, including you. When the work trip he had you in took a turn for the worst, guilt ate him up from the inside. He was doing his best to solve things, to give out orders, and Javier was doing all he could. When even so, a monster slips between the guards' grasp and reaches you, his heart sinks. He runs as fast as he can to your side, haphazardly hitting the creature with a mana blast. He wanted to hug you, to hold you tight, to make sure you were still there, but he couldn't. Not when everyone else was also in danger, not when you were hurt, and scared, and it was his fault. He carries you somewhere safer with someone who can treat you, forcing on a reassuring smile, but you can feel his hands shaking. Afterwards, it haunts him. He's refusing to take you anywhere with him and waking up at night in cold sweat. Your injuries weren't major, you recovered fast, but what if they had been? It takes a lot of talking and time for him to open up about his worries. But he does eventually, and it's a relief for the both of you. He hugs you, grasping your shirt tightly, and sobs into your shoulder. You gently rub his back and whisper that you'll always be there for him, that he doesn't have to do it all alone. You go to sleep cuddled close together, like you hoped you'd always be. No, how you two were sure it'd be, even if fate itself had to be fought.

Javier Asrahan

Javier is pissed. At the one who hurt you, and even more so at himself. He knew this job was dangerous, why didn't he stop you? Why didn't he get there on time? In an instant, the monster looming over you is decimated, cut into a million pieces. His gaze softens, his sword is sheathed and he picks you up like you weight nothing. If he had it his way, he'd patch you up himself. Instead, he settles on dropping you off somewhere safer and unleashing his anger on the remaining beasts. For a while, he spends most of his time training, even cutting into his sleep hours. Lloyd rats him out to you and you end up having to drag him into bed yourself. He offers barely any resistance but conflict is clear on his face. You reassure him it's not his fault, he couldn't have predicted the future and that you're just fine now. Not to mention, he's just going to get sick if he keeps training like that and he won't be good for anything if he does! He finally smiles at that last comment as he pulls you closer, muttering a bashful 'sorry'. You two end up falling asleep with such ease Javier wonders if you'd substitute Lloyd's lullaby. He's grateful to have you in his life. And secretly, he vows to never let you get hurt again.

Alicia Magentano

If Javier was pissed, Alicia is livid. She should've protected you. If she couldn't do that, she didn't deserve you in the slightest. A mighty roar is heard as an aura sword pierces through the beast. She runs to your side and carries you, covering your eyes, hoping you don't hear her muttered curses to herself. The best physician, the best carriage and all of her attention and care are all yours after the fact. No matter how much you stress you're okay enough to care for yourself, Her Majesty is waiting on your hand and foot until you're completely healed. When you are, you have to drag her off the training grounds too. All of the castle staff are on your side and prepared everything for a relaxing night. Cuddling together on the bed, you notice her hold on you is more careful, hesitant. You squish up against her and reassure her it wasn't her fault, she's amazing and there's no one else you'd prefer to stand by. She smiles warmly, touched by your words, and steals a peck to your lips. She hugs you back much more affectionately, burying her head in your chest, and hoping to never let you go.

Lloyd with a S/O who's just as evil as him - Headcanons

All of Frontera County can see you're a match made in hell. Lloyd's incessant working towards a lazy future for himself and your obsession with his plans going smoothly are a mix to be feared.

Lloyd is even more pumped up for projects when he's with you. He thinks he's being slick about it, but it's pretty obvious. A partner in crime - especially one who doesn't call him a demon king (derogatory) and instead a demon king (affectionate) - is greatly appreciated.

You, him, and Javier often switch up the good cop/bad cop roles. Javier doesn't like to admit it, but he likes being bad cop. Lloyd tolerates playing bad cop when you're the good one because not only are you great at it but it's really satisfying to see people mesmerized by you, just as he is.

Please, please, please be dramatic with him. When you are, he has the brightest smile in the room. He's also laying it on extra thick, so you two end up having a lot of fun, to the point even Javier cracks a smile.

If you also have a villainous laugh, he loves it. He ends up laughing a lot more, much more giddily, when you do it with him.

You and him are so in sync that when an idea strikes one of you, you glance to each other and smirk conspiratorially. At this point, it's become a reflex. Still creepy for everyone else, unfortunately.

Lloyd Frontera

Pikachu surprised face. You were part of Frontera's knights and were always there to help, but he didn't think you were this strong. The wolf monsters were ganging up on Javier and giving even him a hard time. When you swooped into Lloyd's blind spot and easily decapitated one of them, joining Javier right after, all he could do was stare, mouth agape.

Will sincerely thank you afterwards and sing you praises (not literally, not even you could handle that) whilst teasing Javier that you could end up surpassing him.

In the next missions, he completely trusts you to cover his back. Still worries though.

"Lloyd?" "Hm?" "I'm fine, see? We should keep going." "...No. Go rest, we'll set up camp tonight." "But-" "Tired employees can't do their work properly, now can they?" He flashed his shady-business grin, but you knew better than to believe him. With a sigh, you relented and pressed a kiss to his dumb smile. "Fine, fine. Whatever you say, bossman."

Javier Asrahan

His eyes are wide with a mix of surprise and adoration. Javier knew you were strong and often sparred with you as training, but seeing you in action was another matter entirely. The way you carved your way through the horde to stand back-to-back with him, just as he was getting overwhelmed, completely reinvigorated him.

When the battle's over, his smile almost blinds you. He can't believe he's got such an amazing partner and tells you as much. Seeing you like that makes him want to improve even more in order to keep fighting by your side.

"Y/n, thank you for your help. You were incredible." "Thanks, Javier! You did great too." your hands fit together like two puzzle pieces, and so did your lips. "I'm glad you were here." he whispered, cheeks lightly dusted pink. He was still getting used to this. "I am too." you replied, brushing a few of his blue strands out of his face.

Together, you walk back to where everyone else is, relieved to have each other to rely on.

After that he's training for a little longer every day and trading advice with you more often. His eyes light up at every breakthrough, be it his or yours. If it's yours, he's full-on applauding you with the proudest of smiles.

Alicia Magentano

God, she loves you - is the first thing that comes to mind when you absolutely demolish the monster that was about to sneak-attack her. You may or may not have also had to block another incoming blow because Alicia stared at you for a little too long. She gets back into the fray right after though, a blush creeping up her neck.

After the battle's over, she's all praises, especially about specific details of your fighting style no one else would be able to notice. Alicia's also extremely quick to get you treatment and a warm bath, even if your injuries were only minor.

"Your hard work paid off, I could see how much better you coordinated striking and dodging." she proudly smiled. "Thank you! I had an amazing sparring partner." you winked. She laughed sweetly, and wrapped an arm around your waist. "Oh, I'm sure. But the improvements are still on you, aren't they?" You made a show of thinking about it. "Hm...maybe."

You both made your way back to the castle, more than eager to rest.

After that she's training a little extra in secret. She's happy to have someone reliable by her side, but she can't let you do everything, now can she. (Also, she wants to be the one to save you next time, but you didn't hear that from me.)

Arosh

This guy fell for you, head over heels, all over again. How could he not? You dispatched all of the giant ants that were attacking the orcs, much more powerfully and beautifully than he ever imagined. He's really ashamed he didn't join you, mesmerized and awestruck as he was.

When it's over, he snaps out of it and rushes to your side. He's fretting over you, checking for any injuries and clearly moping about not having helped.

"Y/n! Are you alright, oink?!" Arosh ran towards you, stepping over the bugs. He took your hand in his and gave you a full once-over, rambling something about 'not having been there'. "Arosh! I'm all good, see?" you tilted his chin to face you directly. "Just a little dirty. It's nothing a good bath won't fix." you smiled reassuringly. He relaxed, but still had a small, guilty pout. "I should have-" he froze when you kissed the tip of his nose. "No beating yourself up! I love you, fight or no fight. C'mon, let's go home."

After that, he's working out more, and talking to some of the Frontera knights about fighting and training together. He wants to help, even if he's sure it's unlikely he'll reach you. (Bless his heart)

The Greatest Estate Developer Dating Headcanons

Characters: Lloyd Frontera, Javier Asrahan, Alicia Magentano

Lloyd Frontera

Before you two started dating, Lloyd was really bashful. After he realized his feelings for you were beyond friendship or camaraderie, the slightest touch made him a blushing mess, and the slightest admonishment made him fold like a lawn chair. If you hadn't noticed it before, now you definitely did. (Javier did too and is giving him hell about it.)

Teasing. Lots of it. If you're sensitive he'll go easy on you, but it's just his love language. He really likes to see your reactions, whether you laugh it off, retort, or pout.

He's bad at self care, especially during big projects, so you pay special attention to him during those times. Bringing him hot meals, checking in from time to time and dissuading him from working more are commonplace. If you're alike in that way, he reciprocates. Maybe not directly, if you're both working - but he'll definitely send someone over to help/check on you.

He's not very touchy, but doesn't complain if you are. Though he does blush furiously whenever you initiate PDA. Give him time, he'll get used to it.

If you're jealous, he does his best to clear up any misunderstandings and comfort you, but it's kind of clumsy. It's his first time dating, after all, and he's both flattered and nervous that you thought someone else was pursuing him. (You know because it shows on his face.)

If he has to travel, he makes sure to inform you. If you're especially anxious, he takes extra time to reassure you, and sends letters. They're rather short and his handwriting is weird, but they're genuine and have a lot of care put into them.

Before you two started dating, Javier felt confused. He didn't know why he was so drawn to you and it was kind of scary. Maybe he avoided you for some time to sort out his thoughts, and when you confront him about it he realizes his feelings. After that, it's subtle blushes when you get close. It's stolen glances from across fields, and small smiles whenever you're around. Lloyd teased him to hell and back until he confessed.

He also likes teasing, but he's especially careful to avoid topics you find uncomfortable. Another thing he likes to do is to clasp your hands between his. It strokes his protective streak whenever he compares his calloused, scarred hands to yours.

J also stands for jealous. He doesn't look like the type, but he sulks a lot if you end up spending more time with someone else, no matter who it is. Of course, he tries his best to reign it in, and he trusts you unconditionally, but some reassurance is greatly appreciated.

If you're also jealous, he openly shuts down anyone who tries to make advances on him. Sometimes he just straight up walks to you, turning his back on the other person. If it's something more akin to spending less time with you, he does his best to make up for it too. He can relate, so he accommodates it.

Javier likes physical touch, especially cuddling when falling asleep, but he doesn't make it a point. He's less flustered over PDA than Lloyd, but you'll still see a pink tint to his face and a look of surprise.

If he has to travel, he leaves you a gift. Maybe some flowers he picked up, or a neat trinket that reminded him of you. If you're especially anxious, he reassures you he'll be okay and sends letters if you ask him to. His handwriting is beautiful and he tells you about Lloyd's shenanigans in great detail, never failing to make you laugh.

Alicia Magentano

Before you started dating, Alicia was very keen on getting to know you. Sure, she was interested in your talents, but something else about you intrigued her. When she realized what that something else was, well... She may or may not have looked for excuses to summon you, and invited you to a few fancy events.

Her love language is quality time. Being the Queen means she's always busy, but she does her absolute best to clear up her schedule for you. Whether it's a trip to the operahouse or a lazy weekend, she appreciates every second in your presence.

Whoo boy. Anyone try to flirt with you at a party? Queen shuts that down quick. Work keeps you too far from her and too close to others? Oh noes, seems like a matter must be overseen by Her Majesty wherever you're working. Someone wants to oficially court you? Congrats, you're now engaged to Her Majesty.

She will tone down the possessiveness if you talk to her about it though. She fully trusts you and loves you unconditionally; it's more about stopping anyone who might make you uncomfortable.

If you're also jealous, that same intensity is multiplied by 10 and turned towards reassuring you and completely shutting down anyone else.

Alicia likes PDA. A lot. She's brimming with pride at any displays you do. If you're not a fan, though, she completely respects it.

If she has to travel, she wants you to go with her. If it's dangerous or not doable, she gives you a piece of jewelry (maybe a royal heirloom) for you to hold on to. If you're especially anxious, she sends letters too. Her handwriting is impeccable and there's atleast a paragraph of pleasantries. But she doodles at the corners of the page, to tone down the formalness of it all.
