i know that we often wonder, as readers, if the writers whose works we admire take the time to read every comment we leave, if they start to recognize regular commenters, if they take the things we say to heart. i can't speak for everyone, but i can speak for myself, and if there exists a fandom writer who doesn't read every comment they get, i haven't met them yet.

i've said this before, but that doesn't make it any less true: without you guys, got to pay the toll would have never gotten this far. so yeah, i think of you guys, because i treasure every kind word you've ever said to me. thank you, always, for being here 💙

well i am happy to sate your curiosity! (i say cheerfully, as i procrastinate working on my wips.) this was pretty fun to do because it forced me to self-reflect a bit on how i've evolved as a reader and a writer; tropes i probably would've listed as s-tier when i first started writing fanfiction [REDACTED] years ago have been since shunted down to d-tier, and vice versa.

i just don't want anyone to interpret my rankings as a slight against their own favorite tropes and plot devices; my personal preferences will not necessarily align with your personal preferences, and that's okay! tierlist under the cut.

I promise to give you a well written review one day (I'm just a little shy on ao3), but holy cannoli!!! It was so good! The last chapter was amazing and wonderful and the animalistic characteristics were amazing and oh my gosh, my love for the tweels just continue to get nourished and fed because of you! Thank you so much for the food! That whole interaction where the reader tries to get the upper hand was so adorable and I love how Floyd fights back. Feral Jade was also a treat. :D
