Uh, hello, I'm Aspen. He/they. I live with Professor Blackburn in Montenevera, Paldea and I'm attending Naranja-Uva Academy, I don't stay at the dorms though so I have to commute.

Roto set this up for me, it thought this would help me get more use to other people. I was kinda sheltered in a way so people tend to confuse me.

I like reading and history, I really enjoy Ms Raifort's classes. I also like potato mochi and I like to craft things.

Important OOC Stuff Under The Cut !!!

No explicit NSFW aimed towards my character, vague NSFW jokes are typically okay with me just nothing explicit, thank you.

I am 18, I’m saying this just so those who are uncomfortable interacting with someone who is older or younger than them are aware.

I tend to stay with the canon of the games over the anime but if something funny/fun happens in the anime I may reference it, such as events like the Pancake Race in Alola.

If I don’t interact with something it’s typically for 4 reasons: I have nothing to add, I feel like the interaction has come to a good conclusion, I’m not including what you’ve said in my own canon, or I’m trying to set up something for plot and responding would throw that off

I will try and tag everything to the best of my ability so if I miss anything let me know!

I do like writing dark stuff so be aware that this blog may at points touch on stuff like that, I will have a tag dedicated to it so you can mute the tag if you don’t want anything like deep angst on your feed.

roto has told me that the way i type doesn't reflect how i actually act, so i'm going to try and have my text actually be like how i act???

according to roto i tend to type like i'm making notes which obviously isn't how i talk so yea

i typically talk in a ramble-y manner and it said that's part of my "charm" so i should keep some of my rambling in my posts and messages which i don't understand but compared to it i've lived under a rock when it comes to interacting with people so yea i guess

I saw that you gave people permission to infodump send facts about pokemon and stuff, so I came here as fast as I could.

first off, I'm gonna share a rumor I heard like I'm a fucken Bethesda NPC:

Heard secondhand that back in Kanto there's been a string of attacks and extreme property damage inflicted on the radio tower in Lavender Town (the one that replaced the Pokemon Tower). Whoever/whatever did it hasn't been caught or recorded yet, apparently. Speculation is that it's a very angry, as of yet undiscovered Ghost type pokemon (which is where the Pokemon fact comes in).

With that aside I've got a few personal pokemon facts:

my Trevenant is capable of jumping rope (very slowly).

My Scyther was apparently a feared huntress in the wild before I caught her.

My Marshadow hates anyone who wears a lab coat now (go figure, after what happened) and I've found out that it is startlingly easily capable of escaping medical exams, even while restrained or sedated (and even with me sitting nearby it). It cannot be contained, which imo is the funniest shit ever, if a bit of a headache because I can barely keep it still long enough for... Anything related to doctors and professors, really.

My Ivysaur very nearly beat a gym leader that specializes in fire types, by himself (I backed out before my Ivysaur would have fainted, didn't want him to get badly hurt).

took Wisp to go watch one of Miss Ryme’s battles since she also has a greavard

i didn’t expect a bunch of houndstone to pop up though, they gave me a fright

but her battle was very cool, i enjoyed it alot and Wisp really enjoyed copying the other greavard’s dance

So the Professor caught the greavard for me since he knew i most likely wouldn't have, i'm not big on actually being the one in charge of caring for a pokemon (mostly cause i doubt myself to much) so the greavard is gonna kinda be mine but also be the lab's pokemon

i'm calling him Wisp and i drew him, i would've taken a photo but i dislike taking photos

What even are you? You get hit with a tera blast and are nearly completely fine after? You then wander off in the middle of the night to follow a ghost Pokémon and come back without a single scratch? That's not normal???
