Howdy, it's the Captain! 🐻

There was some radio silence on my blog and I apologise, I had to move house rather sudden for personal reasons and I'm happy to say I've now settled down. My Digimon collecting has been at a stand still as financially, things aren't great, but I've started a new job so hopefully good times are on the horizon!

For now, most of my belongings are safe and that's what matters. Once things get going be prepared for better content! No more badly lit pictures, no more messy background, no more cramped areas. Hopefully I can start getting into photography and start giving my figures the attention they deserve.

It really is odd fitting your whole life into boxes, even more odd being able to unbox yourself properly for the first time📦

i am slowly getting the hang of this again, trying to relearn all of the digimon names is tough though. they just don’t seem to want to stick in my brain. all i remember so far are numemon, agumon, gorurumon, patamon, biyomon, bakaman, wargreymon, birdmon, andromon… i cant remember very many at all

My GachaPon figures arrived!!✨ I really didn't expect Numemon to arrive with a poop I have to say, for Gachapons they're painted really well! Good shading and colour blending, no paint going over the lines, they're sturdy too

Long time no post!!

So sorry for the little hiatus (⇀‸↼‶) I’m still collecting Digimon! Don’t worry! I love the community too much to ever leave. I’ve just reached my limit in terms of space, and even a little over my limit…

It’s not the best way to showcase a collection at all, I can’t take nice photographs of figures or interactions like I want to. I’m sure everyone is sick of seeing pictures of boxes and not the actual items (I know I am) so I’m just gonna take a back seat and wait until I have appropriate space or get my own place. Then I can showcase everything like I’ve always wanted to 🐻

In terms of more personal update, my job in pretty rough. Hours are all over the place and I work anywhere between 18-50 hours a week which is quite exhausting, so all of my tumblr blogs have gone untouched for a while. My free time is taken up with job hunting or spending time with my partner when I can, but I do hope I can post more Digimon content soon ヾ(｀・ω・´)ノ

Event: Naruto run around the control spires

As some people know, I used to think very highly of MHToyShop. They were my go-to company for figures, good customer service, cheap and very high quality with fast shipping to boot! Sadly, they've shut down due to bankruptcy or.. something. Now, this set of several alarms for me. No one was notified that they had shut down, all social media links and online presence were totally wiped and there's next to nothing about them online. They did state on their site that someone would be answering emails as their support email was the only thing they had left under the MHToyShop name, and while they did respond saying they'd get in contact soon, over a month has passed. Not only did they have multiple orders of mine ready to ship (worth a few hundred dollars) before they shut down, but they have not responded to any other email - and I'm not the only one with that problem. Multiple reviews on their trustpilot and some reddit threads have dozens of people saying they were left in the dark and a possibility that they've even changed thier name and moved to a new company. Needless to say I'm pretty pissed, now I have to pay higher costs since it's been a while after the figures release dates and I'm praying my paypal chargeback works out since I've never had to do that before. Friendship with MHToyShop ended, now Nippon Yasan will have to be my bff

Boy oh boy it’s been a while since I last checked this blog!

Not a lot has been happening in terms of Digimon collecting, at the moment it’s just a backlog of pre-orders. I’m thankful they’ve slowed down releasing Digimon merch, it was destroying me! Really glad to see the Digimon artwork stuff being released, that’s hella nifty and I’m always a sucker for art books and such 

Currently on the lookout for the Terriermon Banpresto plush, I waited too long and now they’re stupidly priced..
