Inej: Yeah, what did you think I meant? Wait what did you buy?

I felt like painting, so I took my sketchbook and started putting some gouache on some of my sketches.

I like how this one turned out. I might do a bigger, more refined version of it some time.

In case I don't get to post anymore this week, I'm wishing everyone who celebrates a wonderful Christmas time and if you don't have a wonderful time as well!

We look up at the sky sometimes

In silence we stare

And ask ourselves

"How far is infinite

And how do we compare to it?"

We are at most a grain of dirt

On our little planet earth

Circling around a tiny star

And in our hearts we wage a war

Fighting for a bit of worth

For just a little bit of meaning

In our little bits of life

Somewhere deep dow we all know

We will never be able to compare

To glowing celestials standing high

Every night in our endless sky

Though we are small

Let's rest at ease

I can tell you this at least:

This right here

Is the closest thing to Gods we'll ever be

So why not make it beautiful anyway?

Run in awfully sighing streams

Run through the same ravines

That took form so long ago

Carved by blood and tears

Through the stone

The dreadful sound of dying dreams

Keep pretending we don't see

Close the window latch

Here's a little poem I wrote a while ago as I was trying to get back into writing more. I kinda like this one. I hope you do too.
