A Lazy Day

pairing: Modern!Rey x reader

a/n: here’s a short Rey thing because i’m missing my girl today- i know it’s hella short but i wanted to post somethin hehe

On the extremely rare occasion she’d have a day off, you unfortunately would need to go into work. As you wake up at 7am to begin getting ready for work, a pair of arms would wrap around your waist, pulling you back to bed.

“Babe, I need to get ready.” You chuckle at your sleepy girlfriend.

She doesn’t answer.

“Rey, please.” You whine at her before realizing she fell right back to sleep.

Knowing there’d be no way she’d let you go, you sigh in defeat. Not like you wanted to go work and leave her anyways. You send a quick text to your boss to get the day off, you pull the covers over you both once more. As you snuggle back into her chest she gently tightens her arms around you. A small smile forms on your face as you close your eyes and fall back into a deep slumber.

Hours pass as you eventually open your eyes again. Rolling over, you realize Rey isn’t next to you anymore. Sighing, you decide to get up and take a shower to fully wake yourself up.

As you exit your shared bedroom to shower, you smell pancakes. You smile as you walk towards your kitchen, seeing the love of your life cooking you both breakfast. That's one of the many things you learned about Rey once you started dating. She enjoyed cooking for you whenever she had the chance.

You walk over and wrap your arms around her waist, giving the back of her neck a quick peck.

“Good morning baby. I was just about to come get you.” Rey smiles, turning in your arms a bit to kiss your cheek quickly before turning her attention back to the breakfast.

After you eat (and take a shower of course), the two of you would migrate to the couch for more cuddling, and occasionally other things, for the remainder of the day.

Stressed Out

a/n: just a short little thing with my queen Carol Danvers :D 

“in the span of 5 minuets, 3 people died, 2 buildings collapsed, and now we’re on the verge of a war.” the short haired Captain lets out an exhausted breath. 

You walk over to the railing and wrap your arms around your girlfriend, burying your face in the nape of her neck. You hated seeing her be so stressed all the time. 

“You know, I could just make a couple calls and have that taken care of…” you speak into Carol’s neck. 

She chuckles and places a gentle kiss on the side of your head, “I’m sure Tony will have it sorted out by morning. I just don’t want to deal with the paperwork” 

Technically, she didn’t have any paperwork to deal with yet. But you knew your girlfriend, she wasn’t going to stop thinking about it. You wanted to help her relax until then. 

 A grin forms on your face as you slowly pull back a little to look her in the eyes, “Well, in the meantime, why don’t we do something to get your mind off of it.” 

Carol raises an eyebrow in curiosity, mirroring your grin; already knowing where your mind was, “And what would that be?” 

You gently bite your lip, intertwining your hand with hers.

 “I think I’d rather show you than tell you~.” you smirk, pulling her into your shared apartment.
