me yapping about the hellaverse/blackgryphon controversy that I literally could not give less of a shit about

UGHHHHH I didn’t wanna say this but ig I fucking have to since yall are so petty abt it.

I’m a hazbin/helluva fan. YES. ME. I am NOT a vivzie fan.

I like to stay out of controversy because it sucks. Everything is always biased and the internet doesn’t help give me the straight facts. I wasn’t even aware of all the horrible shit the vivzie ppl did until I specifically asked for a brief explanation. I do not want to support vivzie and I never had because im not that heavy on merch or anything at least from there, plus im literally unable to buy any products. The most I’ve supported them is by watching videos I guess, but that’s not me wanting to give them money that’s me wanting to know about updates.

When I got into hellaverse I was in it for the art, story and occasional adult jokes, over time those adult jokes became waaay more frequent and just made me cringe out a lil bit but I still watched it because of the lore. No I don’t like the implications and bad writing. No I don’t like the fact every single character is skinnier than a pencil meanwhile the females have these insane drumsticks what the fuck. I absolutely fucking hate the angel thing I understand you want to put a traumatic backstory in there but cmon. I get it’s an adult show but it can do so much better man. As much as I hate everything im odd like that, I HAVE to finish something I started, I want to watch the rest of both shows until they are finished then be done, cuz that’s all I want, to finish the shows.

Yes I like the characters. Yes I think the characters are cute/hot. No I don’t like the asshole or way too freaky side characters. The only exception is vox I think bc he’s pretty one dimensional.

TLDR I like hellaverse for the plot, characters and art. I hate everything else. I will finish both shows and then never touch them again. Honestly im only in it for chaggie atp cuz I think they’re like? The only good relationship rn? Them and m&m.

I am at a neutral standpoint until it is confirmed by people who actually know what they’re doing whether these allegations are true, which they most likely aren’t. before I deep dive into the lore and stuff I wanna point out a few things that are a little irrelevant but still important. and yes im lazy to take screenshots rn

when the camera is focused on gangle during the anime adventure “HOW DID YOU KNOW IT WAS MY SUGGESTION” there are a few objects that point to other characters in the bookshelf behind her, such as a miniature zooble box and an abstracted origami. on the left side there is a line of books. 12457. 3 and 6 are excluded. Does this mean anything coders/analysers. Also the number 5 and 7 are next to each other, continuing the 57 trend.

second, kinger and the dark. At the start of president pomni kinger already seems pretty normal while talking to pomni even in the light “didn’t ya get the brief” then when she doesn’t understand he drags her under the desk to give her the memo. which is also conveniently the exact conversation spot they are supposed to be given the baby head lamp. im sure everyone took a second to read kingers paper but if you didn’t, it’s his job role and blah blah blah few jokes and it says something like if you need to converse there is a baby head lamp under the table. kinger can obv manage himself better in the dark but the baby head lamp is shining right in his face. He is affected slightly by this when he says “im not jax :0”

another thing abt him. during stargazing ragatha points out the fireflies behind him and he yells “WHERE” frantically. isn’t the atmosphere already kinda dark? he’s acting “crazy” in this dim lighting outside. can’t remember but he also says “try a sandwich” to jax when he said something that wasn’t referencing food I think, he misunderstood his sentence.

does different amounts/ways of light affect him in different ways? this is really interesting to me. I wonder what will happen with him in other episodes relating to this. pomni told them about his wife but not abt the dark thing. kinger also said his fav colour is blue bc it’s the closest to black which is just really really cute to me. and YEAH POMNI theres no black wire so how could black be his favourite colour DUHHH STUPID.
