I am finally back to writing after a couple of weeks off for the Easter holidays.

I am aiming to get chapter ten finished and chapter eleven, at least half way done by the end of the week!!

Time to put some real effort into this book!

Was up till 3am last night getting chapter five finished.. I’m so glad to be back writing again.

Late night writing sessions can be extremely relaxing!!

I have my music playing and not a single person awake to disturb me!!

Just my kitten cuddles up next to me purring away, my laptop on my knees as I type away!

Spooky season is really making me want to pause my current WIP!! And start on my idea for a horror book!!!

This is how my head feels when I start to get new ideas for different books. I have to stop myself from getting distracted. I write down the idea and get back to my current project. Otherwise I would end up my multiple books on the go

Best man speech is pretty much done!!

I have to take a break from writing my book to write a best man speech!!

Writing fiction, yeah I can do that! Most of my ideas come from my dreams!!

But writing a best man speech… I seem to be stuck!! I have the opening and that is it!!! ARGHHHH!!

I also have anxiety and am introverted so public speaking is a BIG no from me…

Always have my portable monitor set up when I am writing!!

That way I can watch something whilst I write, it helps keep me writing, otherwise I get distracted and start to do something else.

I hate writing in silence!!

Before finding this quote, I had restarted so many times, wanting it to be perfect.

But the first draft doesn’t need to be perfect. I just need to get the story written down.

Only then can I start making it in to what I envision it to be!!

Writing a book is such a long process.. I have been at this for about two years.. I keep restarting!

But this time around I am going to keep on writing until my first draft is finished!!

Whilst writing my first book, I have to set myself goals to keep myself motivated.

My first goal was to hit 1000 words. I’m soo happy that I hit it!!

My second goal will be to hit 5000 words!
