The Department loosened the leash on me enough that I was able to call my sister for a bit today. Spending a good hour ranting about this fucking academy was definitely needed, I didn't even realise how much I needed it.

In other news, my sister thinks I need to make more friends. I hate how mature she is for her age. I also hate how damn sassy she's gotten, clearly I've been a terrible influence.

My Guidance Councillor is too invested in trying to get me to take these classes. I don't even want to attend this SCHOOL, nevermind 'Elemental Magic 101' or whatever it's called.

Still, he's been nicer than any of the Department suits I've dealt with. He feels genuine enough.
