Really love how they portrayed the atmosphere here

You can tell that malleus is going through a hard time.

But this coloring??? It gives a melancholy feel to it.

Then we see this scene and it explains the reason why he is feeling the way he is.

With Lilia leaving, that freedom and comfort that Malleus always sought is gone too. He’s trapped again.

He’s alone and filled with sorrow.

Which we can see in the next clip.

No one is at the table. No friends or family. Just like aurora, he’s trapped away. He only knows what’s in front of him and that’s being alone.

He didn’t even know his parents, or rather, he didn’t recognize his mother.

It’s also interesting how silver and sebek are in bubbles too

Bubbles usually portray dreams and hope. Them being green symbolizes how malleus put them to sleep.

But I also want to focus on how bubbles are also fragile hence symbolizing how short life can be.

So not only do we have Lilia leaving, we also see how Malleus knows one day he’ll lose them too.

But…bubbles also bring joy, they can be short lived, but they bring happiness all the same. The same lessons Lilia wanted to teach Malleus.

There is joy even when there is pain.

As Alice ( @eldritch-alicedoll) pointed out, if you reverse the sequence, it looks like the door is opening.

Which also symbolize how lilia not only hatched him, but opened his world. Brought light to his darkness. Gave him warmth to the cold. He could be happy with Lilia.

Alice also mentioned how in the beginning, the cry sounded like when malleus is born. Considering the weather and lilia being the center, we can see the parallels to that at well and the resulting despair when malleus gets taken from Lilia’s arms. The dragon in despair.

Still thinking about giving a favor/gift and how that would go with Malleus, Lilia, and KOD.

June 22 Seiyuu Talk Show Summary

Heartslabyul's song 🔸: I didn't think that we would ever be singing. It's been 5 years. When I heard it I thought, "Finally, the day that Cater will sing has come!" I always thought it would be neat if he could sing one day, as he is a member of the pop music club.

Scarabia's song 🐍： I thought it was a really cool song when I first got it, that rhythm. I recorded first. When 🦦 recorded he messaged me and said "I listened to your part and recorded to match you. It is really cool."

Second Topic: 5th Anniversary Reflection Talk

Memories from Twst 🐍：Book 4 overblot's recording. Was very nervous, it left such a big impression on me.

🔸：In the very beginning we all recorded together. The feeling of "Twst is really beginning here," the senpai VA, how I was going to portray Cater Diamond--I was so nervous. That very starting moment left a big impression on me.

👑：Vil-sama had a lot of dialogue in Book 5. There was a lot of going deep into the character. Memories of recording the songs together…

🏹：Vil-sama had a lot of dialogue in Book 6, too. 👑：I had a feeling that there was a lot of time spent particularly on Vil-sama's recordings. I do not know how it was for everyone else, but…when there was something I came up with on my own there was always additional direction. I came to know Vil-sama very well.

🔸：The thing that surprised me the most was the great things that Cater said when waking Ace up. "Cater Diamond, this is the man that you are!" I started to cry. I recorded together with ❤️ and almost cried there, too.

🏹：When debating who to wake up first, Ace or Trey, Cater recommends Ace first because Deuce was lonely. It would obviously have been better to wake Trey up first but Cater was like a big brother and offered to wake Ace up first for Deuce, instead.

I've been so brainrotted over Deltarune this is pulling at my mind, bringing me to brainrotting about Twst again lol

So cool that they announced what the individual songs are gonna be called. Also, Overblot transformation scenes? Is it gonna be like some slight animations to the Live 2d similar to Lilia catching Malleus' egg in Book 7? Or kinda like a mini cutscene? And how do they plan to implement it? Are they gonna retroactively update Book 7 to include these animations?

As for the Chip and Dale stuff, I wonder, I haven't watched the show, so I don't know if there's an episode or something that takes place at a fast food area? Also, I wonder who's gonna be picked for working customer service.

Hmmm, what also makes me question stuff is them labeling the next story update as 7.5. So we're not moving on completely from book 7, but also not moving into new book 8 things. I theorized that book 8 would be the Interschool Magical Shift Tournament, but maybe it could be at this interim? In any case, it's gonna focus on Diasomnia post-OB and hopefully a bit on Malleus trying to connect with his peers. He already kinda tried in his Dorm Card, but now, he's gone and affected everyone, so maybe they can all come to an understanding. Who knows

But yeah! This is coooool! So excited!!!

Malleus concept nr 4..... ☝

While I love the previous one, It was too...boxy. And as I began designing the other housewardens, he just looked too out of place.

He's still eldritch horror under there, just with more....slay 👍(more info in the previous post)

I wanted him to have a medieval style fit mixed in with trad goths.

Also I wanted his horns to look more like they're sprouting out of him instead of just being randomly jammed on his head

And added more dragon imagery because...that's what he is.

I thought I'd just have fun and draw boys in nitw style. Buuut while drawing, I was unconsciously thinking about how they could exist in this au

I think it would be interesting if Riddle left his mom, lying that he had a place to live. Trey's family took him in (they live in another small town). Due to the guilt that he is taking up space in their house, Riddle decides to help them with work. He is assigned some organizational chores, since he has problems with cooking (although he does not give up trying to learn how to do it)

Trey works in the family patisserie. Cater takes on a variety of jobs to find one he really likes (most of the time he quits very quickly), but some days he works at a patisserie to have a steady income. He is also a member of a small band

Ace and Deuce are regular customers at the patisserie. They love that place (when they were little, they loved just looking at the sweets through the display case). But after Riddle appeared, they started going there less

BIG SPOILERS FOR DELTARUNE CHAPTER 4

I just finished chapter 4 of Deltarune...

It was fantastic. Chapter 3 is fun, but Chapter 4 had so much emotions, character building and hype. Seeing Gerson appear made my heart feel so full. And seeing the end credits of Chapter 4, with Chapter 5 promised I'm 2026 is uplifting. Man, I have to process so much. I honestly went kinda quick and didn't even try to find any secret boss and I didn't complete the three piece piano puzzle cause I was kinda strained on time. But, I will definitely look it up and later play through myself these 2 chapters to get what I couldn't get once I have a bit more time.

Honestly, seeing Gerson truly made my day. We only talked to him a bit in Undertale but he's a great character. Especially loved when he came to help us with the Titan and I could hear where Undyne got her theme from, the "Lord of the Hammer". Other than the delight that was Gerson, my favorite part was definitely just listening to Kris play piano at the Holidays House and in the Dark World organ. It reinforces my want for Kris to be happy and themselves. I don't want to hurt Kris and I hate that we have to be against each other in some situations. But, I guess we'll see where this goes.

Also curious what Susie saw, maybe of a sacrifice or something I don't know. Ah and I guess the mayor knows/is the one directing Kris in making fountains for some reason idk. Asgore seems to be aware strange stuff is going on, don't know if he knows it's the Dark World, but he's definitely investigating something to try and clear his name to the people in the town, especially Toriel.

Ah, can I also say how crazy it is to hear it's raining somewhere else at the end? I haven't even looked at the OST, but I'm guessing it's titles "It's raining" or "After the rain" or something.

Welp, now I can go on the internet, see what I've missed and go even more crazy with Deltarune. I liked Deltarune and followed it since I like Toby's humor and writing, but these chapters, especially Chapter 4, made me really care for these characters and solidified my want to see this through to the end and hope our heroes can make it through as best as they can. Probably not a happily ever after, but an ending shining with hope.

AHHHH OKAY UPDATE

ON THE NEW CHAPTER

OK SOOOOO?????? IM LOSING MY MIND

We, as the soul, are under the angel doll, covered by it and Susie and Noelle just scooped us up and we're on the table. Literally, when I turned off the breaker box and they said they'd check it out to turn the lights back on, I immediately went to the tree to try and hide cause I don't want them to see?????? The soul???? Ohhhhh I feel so nervous. Kris clearly doesn't want us near the bunker, near anything about Dess and they caught us when I tried to go through the dining room.

I'm just scared how this might affect Noelle, Susie and what Kris might do when they find out about this.

Ahhhh I'm gonna keep playing and see where this goes.

So kinda quick update on my Deltarune playthrough, biiiig Spoilers coming up!

I defeated the thing that had the Shadow Mantle and got to the end of the chapter where potentially Gaster said I could try to battle the Roaring Knight again. After that, I went forward onto chapter 4 in my first playthrough save. I'm probably gonna go back once I look up more secrets and try to get what I missed, but for now I went onwards.

The start of chapter 4 was excellent, getting so many new rooms in hometown and already lore drops. I already talked to everyone around town and went to the dark world where we had a tea party and got to see Ralsei's room. Right now I'm in Noelle's house as the Soul soooo that's pretty insane. I'm in the air vents and got to listen to Kris play the piano. But before that, it seems someone on Kris' phone? was telling them where to make the next dark fountain and that we, the soul, are not allowed in the bunker.

Welp, I was typing this up while Kris was playing but they stopped, so imma keep on playing and see where the heck this is going.

Ok, continued playing Chapter 3 and completed it. I also felt in the right mood to replay the chapter to try and get the secret boss before moving on to chapter 4. From what I remember, here's what I remember.

Interesting choice in not making Toriel wake up and keep her asleep, unaware of everything. Also, it seems some theories were right that Tenna won't join us in Castle Town cause he got killed by the Roaring Knight????

I'm so curious who or what the Roaring Knight is that we fought that later fled to the hunker. Tenna talks about the Roaring Knight being responsible for the creation of the Fountain but, when trying to get the secret boss, I talked to Ramb and they clearly saw Kris make the fountain. Gonna talk more about Ramb and Kris later, but continuing on, I'm surprised Undyne actually showed up!

Before these chapters, I did think she'd show up, but I thought it'd be way earlier, so when she showed no signs of appearing I gave up hope. Welp, shows me to always be determined like her! Also the Roaring Knight took her? Into the bunker? And they originally wanted to take Toriel? That I have no answer to. Oh, just remembered! It seems the bunker has a lock combination that has pictures/drawings of a tree, badge and the Deltarune symbol. Hmmm, I wonder what it could be?

Ok, know for my second playthrough of chapter 3. I was able to get S-Rank on both levels so I got to complete the games backstage. Walking around, I decided to kill the enemies on there since I didn't think there was a pacifist way to get through the level. I made a save with a Round 1 S-Rank that's before playing the first S-Rank backstage game just in case there's a pacifist option that I can go back and do. Other than that, I was able to cut through the trees in the first game and find the Ice Key.

With the Ice Key, I got to open the door I found yesterday in the 2nd backstage level where I followed the white cloaked figure that uses ice. Seriously, this part made me think "am I doing weird route stuff?" Since this is clearly depicting Noelle.

Before I went backstage once again for Act 3, near one of the teleport doors, there exists a spotlight where, if you get caught and say you're cheating and saying you're going nowhere, Kris gets taken to a room with a game plugged in where you can't do anything. So now I'm wondering if defeating the secret boss can give us something for that room? Pretty please!

Now I'm getting kinda sleepy, so imma write the contradiction that is Kris Dreemur. They made this fountain, but no one knows why. Is it because they want to keep exploring? Do they want to see the Roaring? Not even Ramb knows Kris' goal. And we can't even say Kris is completely fearless in doing this since, when playing the backstage game for a 3rd time, we play as pixel Kris who goes to the bunker, but Kris clearly doesn't like whatever's in the bunker and tried to go against us. In that moment I really did feel bad for Kris, making them get closer to the place they hate and try to avoid.

Ohhh getting real sleey so gonna wrap up quick. Right now I'm fighting a tiny black sprite that presumably has the Shadow Mantle on themselves. Hopefully I can beat them tomorrow and continue on to Chapter 4.

I guess a cool secret I found is a way to get behind Ramb's bar, being able to see Susie and Ralsei chilling on the couch, playing games. Really sweet to see them

Ok, gonna end there and sleep. Let's see how much time I have to play tomorrow and if I can beat the boss.

Okay, finished up for today my Deltarune playthrough. Still in chapter 3, before the fight with Rouxls in the bar. Sooo some things on my mind. Spoilers under!

Immediately after waking up in the dark world and going to the left, those weird black wavy things (which after playing a bit more I think are the hairs of the sax guys) were there and while I was leaving the room, one of them moved slightly and sneezed. Kinda freaked me out and I kept leaving and re-entering the room to see if it happened again. Nope

I like how quick we're getting to the conversation of "we Darkners aren't real Susie" and and her now realizing that. ALSO not to mention the kinda important line drop of Darker than Dark from Ralsei!!!! OOOOOOOH

AND during Ralsei's explanation of those that are in the dark and shadows we see Image_Friend on a shadowy body????

Elnina and Lanino being parallels to Asgore and Toriel is quite interesting. They start off as a couple but then one becomes a bit full of themselves and the other leaves them for their arrogance, but then when they end their relationship, Tenna immediately cuts away and later tries to make them be together again, probably to show Kris the beauty of a happy family. Speaking of that...

Tenna missing the past of everyone being a happy family that would spend time together watching TV or playing video games and desperately wanting to get that back, especially since we know he hasn't been plugged in for so long. Now, what I'm most confused about right now is what happened to make Kris like using the TV, to feeling negative emotions towards it? Tenna says he misses when Kris would smile but now they don't anymore and they don't know what to do except try to make Kris remember the good times and bank on nostalgia factor. And another thing! Why did Kris make this dark fountain when they don't like the TV anymore? Do they want to also relive happy times? Maybe but I don't think that's the reason. For answers? Tenna DID mention that Dess would come over and was the "cool" teen. Many possibilities, especially since I'm in chapter 3 still.

Now. The secret boss. I'm pretty sure I know how to get to them, I just have to get S-rank on the first stage. I managed to get to the game console at the end of the 2nd stage but the Green Room bar tender (Ramba? Ramna?) told me I'd be able to complete that specific game if I got S-rank before as well. So, probs gonna make a new file to try and get the secret bosses. SPEAKING OF WHICH

When walking through many TV's and having to answer some quizzes, I found 2 bonus rooms. One with the two jail cell cages and the other labeled a Bonus Room where I got to see an interaction between Spamton and Tenna which made me feel so bad for Spamton :(

Oh, also the frequent use of Tenna yelling out Mike (probs camera man/ technical engineer) made it seem like Mike is on Tenna's side willingly? Maybe?

Got to see sleeping Toriel, I wonder if we'll actually see her awake in the dark world. If so, I can see them convincing her it's a dream.

Also, the chef mini game and rhythm game? Super fun. I kinda suck at the chef one but I wanna get better while the rhythm one is so nice to do and listen to. Definitely gonna try and full combo it later

Ummm I think that's it for now! Gonna sleep since I wake up early, but I might finish chapter 3 tomorrow! Now the question is, do I finish it, then go back and try to get the S-rank in both stages or do I continue on to chapter 4? 🤔

I guess it depends on how I'm feeling tomorrow. So curious how this is going to end up and whats gonna happen with Toriel.
