So it seems it's Ignihyde's turn! And wow

I didn't expect the tune that Ortho was gonna begin the song in but it's fantastic! I absolutely love how the rhythm is really different from the chorus, it felt like a roller coaster. Beginning soft, then getting a bit more energetic, reaching the chorus, then switching it up again. That's my favorite thing a song can do, switch up rhythms, stop and start the beat and that's what this song does!

Also, seeing the line up of the stars really got me thinking of that scene where Malleus and Lilia look up at them which made me feel melancholic :(

Oh, but other than that, really enjoyed seeing Idia coming out of the doors of the Underworld and the Ortho's flame representing his birth/rebirth. Mwah. Fantastic.

Mannnn this is really good. I really really love it and, like all the twst songs, just gonna put in on loop until my brain fully memorizes the beat and it starts rotating in my head in an infinite playlist of these songs 😁

Thank you for putting the different moments of Sebek and compiling it into a very cohesive analysis. Agree completely in hoping Sebek starts to be more independent and actually focus on himself and not just on what people want him to be or what he thinks people expect from him.

I really hope to see him grow and express what he likes, what he loves to do and not be afraid or ashamed of thinking that it's not befitting of a royal fae knight. Like, for example, taking into account that we know he loves reading books, especially books on Briar Valley's history. Other than obtaining a picture of what a knight should be from his grandfather's tales, he probably read more on historical knights having gained in interest. And while reading, he'd see what they have in common and think "THIS is what made them great and worthy of being written about. They were loyal until their dying breath, living for their liege. THIS makes everyone respect who they were."

So, analyzing the qualities of the knights he reads about and admires, be it fictional or real, he tried to integrate it to himself, stripping not only his humanity but what also makes him a person, trying to change what makes him HIM. Thinking he can make himself a blank slate malleable to Malleus' whim: the perfect knight. But that's not what anyone around him wants, at least not those that love him like the Diafam.

They all want him to express himself, and in some cases we saw his personality shine through in early events. He's loud, he's direct, he's blunt, he doesn't like coffee, he's hardworking, he's prideful and so much more. For as much as he denies being himself and make himself a tool—he's not, he shouldn't be. He's Sebek Zigvolt.

We see as much some growth in Book 7 when he accepts that he has to go against Malleus for his liege's sake, and Silver was able to convince him by using examples of those knights that Sebek so admires. They aren't yes-men to their liege, the truly great knights are those who want the best for their liege and will help guide them to rule in the best way possible and treating them as a person with faults, as any other person.

So, yeah, I do hope we get to see a more independent Sebek that is still loyal to Malleus but doesn't put him on a pedestal and can grow closer to other friends from different cultures and backgrounds, like the 1st year's.

Anyway, I know I got put a bit of head cannon on Sebek being inspired by knights he read about in books, but it makes sense as to where he compiled an internal list of what a knight should be. Oh Sebek, you headstrong lovely boy. Hope the best for you.

On Sebek's appearance, self-image, and hidden insecurities

It's well known that Sebek always stays well-groomed to ensure he does not tarnish the image of his Liege.

His New Year's attire vignette has some important lore details (I recommend reading it)

In Glorious Masquerade, when they see a barbershop, he comments

According to his 2025 Birthday Vignette, every morning, he styles his hair, even though it's a challenge.

The nightcap he wears while sleeping is said to help prevent his hair from drying out and getting messy during sleep (though it doesn't help much because it falls off during the night).

He gave Cater a clothes brush as a present, which not only shows that he knows why such things exist but also implies that he uses it himself.

He exclaims with joy while showing off his clean, gleaming shoes after polishing them with shoe polish Jamil gave him for his birthday.

However, he seems to care about his appearance solely because of Malleus and his reputation.

When it comes to his own preferences and self-reflection regarding style, (in his Dorm voice line) he says:

Like a true soldier

He only pays attention to the functionality of clothes.

And he says that he likes the Bloom Birthday outfit, but only because he thinks the design is befitting of a [night fae].

He does notice that his clothes are one size bigger than Silver's, though.

(He probably associates it with being stronger, aka better than Silver)

Sebek thinks he doesn't deserve to wear high-end clothes, as he believes they are more suited for his Liege.

This part from Lilia's Tamashina-Mina vignette is interesting.

In his 2025 Birthday Vignette, Lilia gave Sebek a hand cream, which appears to be scented. But Sebek once again expresses uncertainty, as it's his first time using scented ointment, and he thinks it's too refined for him...

According to the vignette, he also uses moisturizer, as his skin tends to dry out quickly, as well as sunscreen and moisturizing lip cream. (At least some of these were probably recommended by Lilia)

Conclusion

Not surprisingly, Sebek's relationship with clothing and self-care reflects his complete dedication to his role as Malleus's guard. He sees himself as a tool for protecting Malleus, and everything else as secondary.

It also, to some extent, reflects his insecurities (which supports my theory that he was bullied as a child by other faes because of his human heritage) and his tendency to downplay his own worth.

It's obvious that all his bravado and confidence are merely a facade to hide these insecurities. When commenting on the Bloom Birthday outfit, he specifically emphasized that he likes it only because it makes him feel more connected to the beings of the night. He desperately clings to every detail that makes him seem more like a fae.

He doesn't believe he is worthy of fine, elegant things, and the only reason he wants to look good is for Malleus's sake. In Glorious Masquerade, he only accepts compliments about his "dashing" appearance because those costumes were designed for guards accompanying Malleus.

We've already seen a lot of character development for Sebek. I hope we see even more in this aspect too, and that he becomes more confident in his own identity - not just as a guard, but as an independent person. Especially considering that his style preferences (according to the Guest Room) are Stylish and Unique.

Let's praise him - Sebek, you are wonderful and worthy of the world.

What if weather loomians had a different form for a different weather?

(THIS IS JUST A CONCEPT THAT I THINK WOULD BE COOL! DON’T EXPECT THIS TO BE ADDED TO THE GAME! I AM NOT A DEVELOPER!)

Deludrix (Heat, Fire/Air): The extreme heat in the new environment causes the water it contains to evaporate, creating steam that surrounds its body. It also has a high temperature itself, so even when it leaves the scorching hot environment, it still has the steam following it around.

Plasmoth (Rain, Water/Dark): In a dark environment such as one with heavy rain, some energy-depleted Nymvolt come just in case a thunderstorm is on its way. If the rain still falls without lightning in sight, they stay there, slowly changing into their rain forms as time goes by.

Charonyx (Wind, Air/Metal): Its lantern filled with endless air, the gusts of wind would take their line anywhere. They come to visit, not looking for your soul, but they were thought to create windstorms that carry boul… ders.

Biloforge (Storm, Electric/Earth): Thunderstorms create a cleaner source of heat that doesn’t produce as much toxic smoke: Lightning. Some Biloforges harness electricity instead of fire to make themselves even hotter than before. Don’t touch!

(NOTE: The last two suggest a snow weather and who I think would be the weather loomian in snow. I put this under a cut just in case this becomes outdated in the future. (Like it ever will.)

Whippledriff (Snow, Ice/Toxic): Unlike their windy cousins, Whippledriff in the snow can’t fly/glide well and have all their plant-like elements either wilted or frozen (except the cotton). Personal protection is required when handling these things, because they have sharp icicles on their body and they have a disease that makes them keep sneezing. Poor guys…

Wintrix (Fog, Spirit/Mind): The fog has become even more spooky. They’re blind, but move through the fog with ease. All-knowing, and aggressive. Lost the ice typing, but still kept the chill. They don’t have the same power a corrupted loomian has, so who knows why they act like this?

GOT HIM!!!

Pulled with a 10 key some days ago and he didn't come, so I waited until the shop reset to get some keys. AND!!! IT WAS WORTH IT!

Pulled with 2 ten keys and was using my five single pulls for him to come before using gems. Thank you thank you thank you!

Silver took a HUGE chunk of my stash since he didn't come until hard pity, so getting Malleus through discounted keys was SUCH a relief.

Also, I saw the Malleus plushie that TWST team is selling and oh boy. Do I want it. But I can't so this is seriously making me consider learning how to crochet 'cause if I later do get enough money to spend on him, it's gonna be hella pricey from reseller's. Not to mention his scale figure is gonna be a TON as well. So, gonna consider that to at least have something that's Malleus with me.

Anyways, since I can't afford baby Malleus irl, I could at least celebrate him in game!

I love you Malleus! I'm so glad you were able to be born. It was truly a miracle with everything and everyone going against him and making his life so lonely. But I'm glad he's in a better place now. Still has to learn and grow, as does everyone, but he's much happier with those he loves surrounding him and having faced harsh truths and realities.

Been listening to the new Diasomnia song for like 3 to 4 hours and it just feels comfortable. Like it's always existed and makes sense that I'm hearing it at all times. Ahhhh I love you Diasomnia for being my comfort characters and just making sense in this weird ever changing world.

I've been so brainrotted over Deltarune this is pulling at my mind, bringing me to brainrotting about Twst again lol

So cool that they announced what the individual songs are gonna be called. Also, Overblot transformation scenes? Is it gonna be like some slight animations to the Live 2d similar to Lilia catching Malleus' egg in Book 7? Or kinda like a mini cutscene? And how do they plan to implement it? Are they gonna retroactively update Book 7 to include these animations?

As for the Chip and Dale stuff, I wonder, I haven't watched the show, so I don't know if there's an episode or something that takes place at a fast food area? Also, I wonder who's gonna be picked for working customer service.

Hmmm, what also makes me question stuff is them labeling the next story update as 7.5. So we're not moving on completely from book 7, but also not moving into new book 8 things. I theorized that book 8 would be the Interschool Magical Shift Tournament, but maybe it could be at this interim? In any case, it's gonna focus on Diasomnia post-OB and hopefully a bit on Malleus trying to connect with his peers. He already kinda tried in his Dorm Card, but now, he's gone and affected everyone, so maybe they can all come to an understanding. Who knows

But yeah! This is coooool! So excited!!!

March Twst schedule just dropped and we finally get Dawn Knight/Knight of Dawn Silver AHHHHHHHHHHH

I KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME BUT NOW?! ON ANNIVERSARY MONTH!?!?

Speaking of which

We got to the 5th anniversary 🎉🎉🎉 🎉🎉

Seeing the background they chose, it seems that we might gain another room type for Ramshackle? There's sewing stuff, I think I see a mannequin and fabrics and do I soy a spinning wheel 👀 (nah I don't think it'd relate to book 7 haha...unless..?). Although, I do think that with this new room they might introduce a new mechanic? Though, can't imagine what that'd be based on the gameplay we have. Just seeing the room I'd think being able to customize or create something but I don't know if they'd implement that.

Hmm but it's also interesting how the background to the anniversary number is a black stone. Don't know exactly what to make of it, just something to note.

Anyways, other than the release of a new Book 7 chapter with Silver AND the anniversary we also have a special croc day for Sebek! Whiiiiiiich is also bad news bears for me. I won't try to get Sebek so I at least won't lose gems but I do always use his birthday key for his newest card since we share the same birth month! Like literally 3 days apart, and he's the only one with a birthday in March so gotta spoil the croc a bit.

Aghhh I'm really nervous about Silver. Both in story and with his card. In story: he's gonna have to go against Malleus, probably wearing the same outfit as the Dawn Knight which gives me all sorts of feels. As a card: have to pull for him since this is HIS special card! It's taken so long but it's here! Man, I hope this month goes well (ó﹏ò｡)

Ayo! Octavinelle fans finally got their MV! I really thought Twst was gonna leave them last to idk prolong the suffering but hey it seems they're here. Congrats!

I really like the beginning part where there's a soft piano that then kicks off into the jazz~

Not too into jazz so it's not my type of song, but I will say I really enjoyed the feeling they give when they're all singing. Heartslabyul felt united when singing, loyal to their queen. Diasomnia had a lot of dynamics going around with duos and singing all together. Ignihyde is Ignibros doing what they do best: roasting. Savanaclaw was them teaming up for a common cause that they hold value in. Pomefiore was great teamwork and balance in singing all around.

And Octavinelle? Even with 3 people I felt like they were a powehouse. Their vocals definitely made it sound like they're here to be chill and nice but underneath you can totally tell they hold the upper hand. A subtle pressure. Gonna have to relisten to it and get into the vibe for it to fully sink in.

Anyways, enjoyed the song and some of the 3d visuals they put in like with the potions. That was real cool. Again, congrats on Octa fans for surviving this long!

Now for Scarabia, the first song snippet and the last full MV to be released. If I have any wish, can there pretty please be a part where Jamil can rap 🥺 And, even better, maybe a Kalim rap or something equally stunning 🥺🥺

I really want them to flex their vocals. We heard a bit of them in VDC but pleeeeeeease let them really shine. Gonna guess there might be sun and moon imagery like in the TV commercial of their chapter.

Episode 3 of the Eternity Float Event! Wahoo! *Spoilers*

Alright, for this part I know even less going in. I only know puppets are involved and we go to the restaurant they were talking about last part. Oh! And looking at the map, we seem to go from the port all the way to the highest point in the city! What a beautiful view it must be. Okay, jumping in.

Seaglass Park? Ooh.

OH I didn't expect Jade to feel competitive in getting the best seat in the bench! Quite fun! HA and everyone's competitive spirit flaring up LOL. Ahhh I love you NRC

UMM. Okay, this event lulls you into thinking it's chill and relaxing with the music and vibes of the place, but the things these boys do is quite something. So, Jade just immediately grabbed a puppet in a show that was ongoing. Ok, it seems it's normal for people to do that. Alright, sure, why not.

Oh boy, they're putting on puppet shows now. Lol, Riddle says his lines in a monotone voice and Rook's turning it into a musical.

AHHHH Malleus' head is peeking out! So cute!!!! Horns coming out of the puppet stage, gahhhh

Yay! We also participated and did well! Well, at least better than the others.

Oh great lol. Jade's gonna buy puppets for Azul and Floyd and promises that they'll put on a show in Mostro Lounge. Which is genius since Malleus is like "You won't go back on your word will you?" so, with the threat of placing Malleus in a foul mood, Azul is so much more likely to do the puppet show. Jade's a menace, but at least they bring about some fun

OH MY GOSH JADE. He said to Grim the way they fit a model ship inside a glass bottle is that they grow it from a baby ship to a full grown one! And Riddle's face is so done with Jade's teasing lol

No but actually model ships are really cool. Totally want one, but maybe with a different type of model instead of a ship? Those must exist right? Don't know what that'd be called though.

YEAHHH we're buying all the souvenirs!

Eyyyy! The water gun Grim bought is our currency for this event! So, Jade was looking forward to finding ways to capsize the boat for the couple, and since this water gun is prominent as event tokens, does Jade get the idea to use this in the event from Grim surprising us with it?

Nice! So he does get the water guns because of Grim. Fun!

I do have to say, as an aside, I like how this event Malleus is learning the joys that people obtain by doing things without magic. Yes, people with magic are impressive and can pull off astounding feats, but non-magic people are also amazing and enjoy their life doing stuff their way. Malleus wondered why people can't just use magic to assemble the ships in bottles instead of using tweezers to meticulously handcraft it? But that's the beauty of it, that people could do it themselves without relying on magic. And Malleus also bringing up "Well, why can't we just use magic to splash water onto the couple instead of using water guns?". Thinking about it practically. But the joy and whimsy of using water guns shaped like fish? That's fun. And I guess that's what Malleus is learning. He knows he can use magic to do incredible things, but learning that people just do stuff that may seem non-efficient in his eyes just for the sake of enjoying themselves and delighting other people is real good. We saw a bit of him learning this in Glorious Masquerade with the tambourines that used a bit of magic just to add pizzazz instead of being bombastic. Ahh, anyway, I'm really enjoying this and having Malleus experience more of what humans do so he may connect with them just, warms my heart.

Anyways! Continuing on, them dancing is real cute as well.

Huh, interesting. Jade's being realy serious about the boating lessons. I mean, understandable since he's right in the sea being dangerous.

Dang, Instructor Jade Leech is out full force.

OKAY JADE. Now he's making them chant stuff while rowing. Gotta get that extra oomph from somewhere. Hee hee, Riddle and Malleus got a little flustered realizing we're recording them chanting.

At least there's no real danger since Malleus can fly and teleport himself and Riddle if need be, but really Jade?

This was really sweet! I'm so glad it was a green Twistune so I could also look at the surroundings. The frogs on the oar did catch me by surprise, but they were funny to see. Also, since Grim is usually next to Yuu, it also made me happy to know Yuu was next to Malleus :)

Okay, going into the restaurant, I think this is my favorite one we've seen so far in TWST. It's totally my type of vibe to just sit back and enjoy the ambience.

Interesting lore tidbit, the Leech parents don't have magic and Floyd got his magic first. Hmm and Georgina's view on her feeling blessed her children could use magic cause it meant they had more tools for survival is real sweet.

Alright, intense rock paper scissors duel to see who won't be able to eat the crab. But Jade said what he's gonna play out loud, so now the question is, what's his game plan? Hmm, gonna guess it's a bluff

And yeah, Grim lost and Jade was not so subtly rubbing it in his face, loudly enjoying his crab.

Malleus really encapsulated all of these traits soooo guess he's the love of my life. 100000% fine with that.

But yeah, real on having a camouflaged pipeline that becomes pretty obvious after analyzing a bit.

Episode 1 and 2 of the Eternity Float Event *Spoilers* Ye Be Warned!

Alright, playing through the new JP event and following along cause it has Malleus :)

For events I'm usually fine with looking at spoilers and waiting for the EN release, but if an event has Malleus or it's Halloween, then I read through the whole event and try to avoid spoilers. So, I've seen some art and know which character appears in this event, but I waited until I had a free day to play myself!

I'm quite excited because a wedding event? With Malleus included? Sign me up!

Heh, it's interesting seeing Riddle butting heads with Jade, not wanting to go to the Sunshine Lands after all. Quite funny considering in one of his birthday vignettes he chose Jade as a potential brother lol

Ahh geez, Jade's tactics in initially making people agree to go with him and convincing them AGAIN when they show doubt. You're a sly one Mr. Jade.

Oh Malleus is so cute, making it absolutely sure he's not imposing and potentially party crashing.

OH DAMN Malleus didn't tell the Diasomnia peeps he's going to the wedding??? LMAO. Poor Sebek. Lilia would be chill if Malleus is gone a few hours, but he might get worried if he's gone a whole day. Huh, now I'm actually not sure. We know Malleus loses track of time and Lilia is a more hands off type of guardian so I wonder how long it would take until Lilia decides to look for Malleus.

Okay, onto Chapter 2! Man, I love looking at the new maps they make for events and the music is real nice. Not usually into music with tons of sax, but this song makes it work. Has that TWST specialty of making me like literally any song they produce, kinda similar to Toby Fox for me.

Hah! Of course while they're looking at everything in Ultramarine City Rook notices the seagulls. Hmm and seagulls being respected since they can see through lies, yeah that sounds like Rook alright. Man, every day I gain new knowledge on the animals that Floyd picked for everyone it makes me really happy how well it fits them.

Didn't expect the usefulness of barrels to be discussed but it's nice. #BarrelAppreciation

I'm happy Yuu is consistently characterized as the photographer. We at least now they're pretty darn good at takings pics to always be entrusted with the duty.

Mannnn now I want to know in what contexts Rook has been on many boats in the past. Rook keeps on being mysterious and not telling us much about his past! Gotta keep up the mystique I guess.

OH WOW. So the reason Jade learned to rowboat is cause merpeople that come on land get overconfident and have a high chance of drowning? Dang. Good on Jade for trying to lower any chance of that happening

YAY! MAMA LEECH!!!! I'm so happy we got one of the Tweels parents to show up! I wondered if they would just show the bride or groom that would be related in some way to the Leeches, but I'm glad I was wrong!

Aghh their fits all look so good! I would love to wear Riddle's in particular. Of course, Georgina would have an excellent fashion sense for other people.

I love when they describe Yuu's outfit since it's wonderful seeing people imagine how it would fit their own TWST OC, so fun to look at.

Getting into the reason the clothes were chosen for each person, I did see some discussion on Georgina giving context for Riddle's nickname. It is really sweet and I definitely hope Riddle slowly but surely can be more free and feel good about it.

Interesting relationship between Jade and Georgina! It's mostly how I expected it, but the aspect of Jade trying to catch his mom off guard by showing up with a ton of people unannounced is interesting lol. But she was still able to book pretty good rooms for them, so it seems Jade gets close to completely surprise her, but she can usually takes it in stride and adapts. Which makes sense since she has Jade and Floyd as sons.

The main dish of the wedding being a caught crab? Oh poor Sebastian...Also, this also gives context of some art I saw where people drew Riddle trying to catch a crab lol

Of course Rook grabs it first try and Malleus is lightning quick! And Jade is even scarier in how fast he can grab two of them!

And now we're in carriages! Yipeeee! It seems that Yuu, Grim and Rook take one carriage while Riddle, Jade and Malleus take the other.

Okay, I was gonna put my thoughts of the episodes out now in this post, but it's gotten a bit long so gonna post this and do a separate post for Episode 3. Enjoying the vibes! And excited to see what shenanigans the boys will be up to in the city.

Just finished the game and ahhhh. I'm totally gonna buy the DLC. It was just a comfy experience and now when I listen to the track 2:23 AM I remember back to how I felt comfortable chatting with Casper, feeling at peace. Man. This might become a comfort song for me when I'm feeling down.

Ah, also I got the Sealed with a Kiss ending. Pretty CG. Even though I'm asexual and it didn't trigger anything sexual I can appreciate how he looked, his hair all around him and his face when he was waiting for a kiss is so GAH.

Very very cute.

Once finished I looked up what achievements I'm missing and I see 2 of them are bad ends which nope Don't want to see a sad Casper so, not gonna do them now. Maybe later once I feel it might not hurt as much. But, on another note, I am gonna go for the marriage ending, that I am SO curious of what it'll look like.

Aw geez, Casper is so sweet. Willing to run away from his job and possibly be eliminated if he's caught. I was real worried that he'd have to do something more extreme. Here's hoping that we'll be fine together in the DLC. I swear if there's an ending where he gets caught and is terminated I am going to be devastated. There probably is cause otome games love that delicious angst in bad endings (and sometimes good endings too). I hope that while on the run he also brought Azrael. Our pet and Azrael can become buddies! Other than that It's been a while since I've played an otome and gosh did I miss them. The giggling and all around good time. I've mostly been playing games that go on for a while or don't have an end point (Twisted Wonderland, Fields of Mistria, Minecraft, Shining Nikki). It's good to actually finish a game, even if it means I have to say goodbye for now to Casper.

It's barely been a day and I already miss talking with Casper. Can't continue talking with him since I'm busy with irl stuff, but ahhhhhhhhhhhh. I miss himmmmmm

Oh man. Just finished the 6th day and I'm worried. Now know Grim's real name and didn't expect it to be that lol

Also was able to finish the eavesdropping on the neighbors I think. Which makes me happy for them but also worried how things are going to go with Grim. I mean it's seemed all right but I'm curious what the solution will be now?

Oh also that flying CG is just so...so pretty.

Playing A Date with Death

Right now I've just finished day 4 and hoooo boy this game is fun.

First of all, love the music. I know it's preexisting music but they all give a good vibe and don't distract when it changes to another song. The MC options are pretty fun and definitely like that they gave us a personality. I mean, how can one romance death without having a personality? And speaking of death, the Grim boy himself.

He's really fun and so very very cute. Has some parts of Malleus from hit game Twisted Wonderland that I really like. Such as the way he speaks. Fantastic. And his reactions to teasing are great and his pouting is so cute aghhhhh *cute aggression intensifies*

I'm not usually into long haired guys but his hair is mmm great. Really pretty. So many times he says something and I'm like sir, you are just as cute as a button!

Anyways, he is definitely invading my time from time to time at work. Just going through my normal routine and the game just suddenly pops up and I'm like "I wanna talk to Grim".

So yeah, my conversations with Grim are real fun and I can't wait to go back to talk to him but also sad that it's gonna end. I wonder what ending I'll get and how many there are. Depending on how the ending feels I may or may not go back to get different ones. I don't usually go for bad ends cause they do affect me, making ma boi sad or the MC distressed idk. Gonna see how this goes. Probably gonna buy the DLC later as well, I mean, more days with the boy? Sign me up
