In just a few weeks we will be welcoming our Poppyseed Earthside. 🌎 The world around us is going through shifts unlike what we have seen before and at the same time our tiny sliver of that world is about to change very dramatically. . These photos were taken before our lives became overwhelmed with terms like "social distancing" and when we could still share our excitement in person with our family and friends. We have some big news! 🎉 We’re expecting a new addition to our family in the Spring of 2020. With @topherhopp 🥰 . . . Have questions? We have answers. 1. Yes, we really are pregnant. We know this might come as a shock for some of you but that just means a bigger surprise! You’re welcome. 2. Chelsea is feeling good. Chris is also doing well and eating cookies for two. 3. No, we do not know the sex of the baby. We aren't sure yet if we will find out, but we will be thrilled no matter which "parts" the baby arrives with. 4. We do not have names picked out yet. We currently refer to the fetus as Poppyseed because it was the size of a poppyseed when we found out we were pregnant. 5. Hanging out in #Nara with the 🦌 for the day was amazing. They are very friendly and persistent. @topherhopp got to show off his lantern knowledge when we toured around the kasuga-taisha shrine and admired the many Japanese lanterns they have on display. (There are more than 2000 lanterns in this one area!)
