4 Days in: Habits
It's January 4, and I started my year watching the London fireworks with everyone's positive energy around me. I feel its really set the mood for my year.

So far I've implemented simple routines, the average "wake up, make bed, brush teeth" but I've added a few different habits to my daily life that I think has been beneficial.
Meditation: I love, love, love meditation. I meditate twice a day 5 mins when I wake up and 5 mins when I go to sleep to wind down. It really helped with my breathing anxiety which had become a big problem for me.
Journaling: I kinda hated the idea of journaling so I brought one of those 5 Minute journals and oh my god is it a great way to start your day, I really didn't expect it. during the day I think back to what I wrote would make today better and I seamlessly complete everything I put down. and not to mention the daily affirmations, something about writing down affirmations makes it so personal and motivating.
Quit bad habits: Okay now this one isn't easy but I promise you will reap the rewards. I stopped smoking about three weeks ago and I feel so much more at ease even though smoking was something I did to relax my nerves. I now know that it had the opposite effect and just made me dependent (and made my skin bad btw) i also stopped drinking, though I didn't drink much in the first place, and have noticed my face is less puffy (yay)
Show gratitude/ appreciation: even if it's for something small like "I really love this coffee I made" or "Thanks to me for making my room more comfortable, I had such a good sleep last night". say it out loud, write it down, it's really up to you but I've found it really uplifts my mood and makes the day much more pleasant.
It's a short list but it's only the start, thanks for reading xoxo

Getting it together for 2024
I've been in the gutter too long and have to pull myself together. When is a better time than New Year's to do that! I wanted more than just the average vision board bc I think I need more stimulation for that kind of thing (I need a reminder of what I'm actually doing). so here it is:
