I've been working on a fanfic for the past seven to eight months, and I'm still not done plotting it. But when I sit down for twenty minutes on a Sunday to mess around with a stupid crackfic idea, I plot an entire series.

...What is this.

Don't you hate when you have a cold, and your nose clears up for any length of time, and suddenly any luxurious nose-breathing you can get in is- *shudders* MANUAL?!

The want to run around and get the zoomies out is far too high right now.

This is mildly unhinged, but I thought some of you beings would get a laugh. My corvid brain every time I hear a crow within the vicinity of my house drops everything and just goes, 'CROW!!!' and 'MUST LOOK, MUST FIND CROW!!!'

I cant turn off this feature to my brain, AHHHHHHHH!

My heart to all my love

A poem I wrote during the beginning of pride month.

From that little girl wondering if she could be like those pretty women on TV

To the little girl who had wished to take the place of a groom to marry a girl instead

Fawning at what seems a sin to all those around her 

Wishing to be what those deemed normal and to undo the broken part of her

But she's not broken

Yet she didn't know that as she buried something that can't be hidden from the prying eyes that surround her 

Questioning every time she stepped foot near a boy and pressured her into believing something false

The feeling of love that those speak of when they see someone of the opposite gender was alien to me

So she mistook friendship for love and kindness as a crush and drowned the truth within herself

To be different is a defect within society's lens 

To be something other than what was assigned to you the day you entered this world

It burns you as you try to cover up the unchangeable part of yourself 

Until you suffocate 

No longer able to breathe through the mask you made for yourself to make others comfortable with what you are

Until you pick up the pieces again building yourself anew 

Learning what you hid

What you tried to hide from prying eyes 

As you question what you thought what was truth and a lie

Your grey world turns bright once you accept what you've hid and stop asking yourself what can I do to fit in more?

And instead ask the question of what brightens your world 

What makes you love yourself 

You are not broken if you like girls or boys

You are not a monster if you don't fit in two boxes 

You are loved if you don't know who you are or if you knew from the moment you could open your starry eyes

To accept myself I allowed myself to feel love

Not the love I tried to fake to make those around me comfortable

It's the love that makes you smile just thinking about them

It's the love that keeps you up at night just excited to see them smile

It's the love that builds and builds and makes you feel accepted 

Sometimes I ask myself

Why did I spend so long living a lie I thought was the only truth to this world

When there is so much more to see so many more way to live

That don't snuff out your flame and destroy your inner child's dreams

Acceptance is the first step in healing

Acceptance sparks the flame that will soon burn bright and bring warmth to those you love

Acceptance can only begin when you trust yourself and let go of the ideal perfect and accept the imperfection 

Cause no one is perfect and we are made that way

Why try to be something we are not when we already shine just as bright

Because who you love doesn't make you a monster

Polyamorous relationships are valid

Monogamous relationships are valid

And lastly, but sure not leastly,

IT IS NEVER OKAY TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST SOMEONE FOR THINGS OUT OF THEIR CONTROL. RACE, SEXUALITY, GENDER IDENTITY, AGE, DISABILITY, ETC. AND THIS DOES INCLUDE DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PEOPLE SEEN AS THE STANDARDS

I pray this won’t lose me too many followers. Not because I care about followers but because I hope not many people disagree with this

I've been telling myself I'm going to get really good at quads over the summer, and even if I know that's a bit unrealistic, I think I'm going to try anyways. Even if I'm not good, I can at least get better, right?

In case no one told you yet. The tails popular in the therian community are real fur tails. The ones sold on Amazon labeled as faux fur? You'll get a real fur product.

They are so cheap for being real fur because the fur industry doesn't use the tails for coats and similar. Buying them still supports that industry. An industry which causes mass suffering for foxes.

observations from urgent care

- People who exercise a lot get knee injuries from overdoing it

- People who only exercise occasionally get knee injuries from being unprepared for the exertion

- People who don’t exercise get knee injuries from being out of shape

- Maybe knees just suck
