A few years ago I was playing a Pokémon game in parallel with a friend. I asked him how his playthrough was going and he responded by telling me it was going great and that he had just gotten to the point in his game where he was “done with his starter Pokemon.”

Horrified, I asked him to elaborate. He told me that his starter no longer fit on his team and that he had put it in the PC boxes because it was no longer useful.

Going over MRI prep for tomorrow and I know my body doesn’t have any metal in it but I’m now just lying here in bed like “hmmm but what if I do and I just don’t know it?”
