Hey guys! I’m not sure if anyone’s still into Mortal Kombat, but I definitely am and I’ve got a vivid fanfic idea that I just had to start writing. I’m nearly 2k words in, and it’s probably going to end up being around 10k. I know I said I’d continue with my other fics, but I honestly couldn’t help myself, I needed to get this one out of my system.

And of course… it’s about Bi-Han. 😌

Oh and it’s absolutely full of clichés that satisfy that itch in my brain, lol.

I drew a couple more artworks for the fic!

1. Here’s the cursed book, created by Quan Chi. It’s the one where the grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, Bi-Han, and his brothers Kuai Liang and Tomas have been trapped for many years.

2. Here’s a close-up view of the cover.

3. The inside pages are golden but old and torn. At first glance, there are no sentences, but the writing appears after a few seconds.

4. And here’s Ninja! Her collar was given to her by Bi-Han and has a tracker in case she ever gets lost. She’s very small and round, with grey eyes, a pink nose, pink ears and paws. Her fur is jet black, except for the white fur around her eyes.

It’s been a while since I last drew something, but as I return to writing, I wanted to create some art for my fic. I tried to illustrate the cover of the book that the reader finds in In the Middle of the Night—the first part of The Savior Series. It was a bit challenging to capture exactly how I described it, so I went with a more minimal approach. Hope you all like it! See you soon in the next chapter.❤️

Hi everyone,

I’ve been inactive here and on AO3 for quite a while, and I wanted to share a bit about what’s been going on. My grandmother has dementia, and her condition has been steadily worsening. On top of that, my dad recently had to undergo a major heart surgery. Thankfully, the surgery went well, but it was a difficult procedure and the recovery has been challenging.

Last month was especially overwhelming as my case trials piled up, making it tough to keep up with everything. At the same time, I’m in a relationship that my partner and I are taking seriously-fingers crossed for us-so it’s been a lot to juggle.

Despite everything, I’ve really missed writing, reading, and drawing. These things have always been therapeutic for me, and I’m planning to return here and to AO3 soon. I haven’t had the chance to watch Khaos Reigns yet, but it’s on my list! I also plan to finish my stories—if anyone is still interested in them. I really don’t like leaving things half-finished.

Thank you for asking, that’s very kind of you. ❤️ A lot has happened in my personal life—some good, some bad—but overall, things seem stable now. That’s why I’ve been inactive on AO3 and here. I haven’t even had the chance to watch Khaos Reigns. I’ll be focusing on my works again from where I left off, and after I watch the new chapter, I’ll probably write some one-shots or fics if anyone is interested in reading them.

I’m nearly done with the second chapter of Not Alone, and will probably post it this friday or over the weekend. Looking at Bi-Han’s growth, it feels like these:

By the way, I also saw the trailer for Sektor today, and I’m not sure how to feel about it. I didn’t like how they handled the Lin Kuei brothers, they had so much potential, but it feels underwhelming, especially with Bi-Han being portrayed as a comic villain. They could have made him more understandable if he still chose the wrong path in the end. So yeah, I’m not too upset about the gender changes, though I think they could have done something different. I’m not particularly hyped for it. 🫠 But other than that, yay for my baby Kung Lao 💖✨🦋.
